Villapark Ehzerburg, opened in 2019, has one central motto: carefree enjoyment! In order to offer this to all our guests, all villas are adapted (including in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom on the ground floor) and also accessible for disabled guests. The word "also" is very important here, because the adaptations are as much as possible part of the tasteful furnishings and don't determine the atmosphere of the holiday home. The houses are equipped with all modern amenities and a beautiful terrace with garden furniture.
The villas come in two different types; for 6 people with three bedrooms (NL-7218-01) and for 8 people with four bedrooms (NL-7218-02). Both types offer the same comfort level.

spacious, very quiet, clean, wonderfully constant temperature and excellent for the disabled, beautiful area to go out, nice facilities in the hotel across the street.

A great house, it was very clean .. Friendly welcome and help if you do not know something. We think it is a great house in a nice quiet area. We will gladly come back.
Cathalijne Huson
Spacious house (near other houses) on a small park, quietly and beautifully situated in the Achterhoek. Various equipment in the house is difficult to operate.
Cor Laarhoven
It was an excellent adapted home for the disabled (like my husband). It is a beautiful house and the tranquility around you gives a real holiday feeling. To be repeated.

Great holiday home with all the trimmings. Ideal for the disabled

The confirmation stated that the key could be picked up at house number 14. Would have been useful if it was stated that this was the hotel.
Boudewijn Van Lit
Nice environment even in winter. Ideal home for someone with a disability. Location very central to visit other cities.
Sonja Barends
The house was neat, the surroundings beautiful.
Piet Schelling
I spoke well to the reception, and later also solved a few small problems.

Arrival was good. Only the dinner buffet in the hotel can be better. Same desserts every day. Quilt in vila way too thick.
R.E.C. Berends

Very pleasant house with good facilities for people with disabilities

We had a good weekend, it was a pity that the toilet in the adapted bathroom was too wide for the shower chair and the grab rails hung too low. Unfortunately, the adjustments could not be used properly. Everything else was present in the house.

On arrival we received a friendly welcome and everything was well organized. The accommodation is very well equipped for the disabled. Wide (sliding) doors, excellent toilet facilities, spacious downstairs bathroom and good beds. The facilities on the first floor are also excellent. It is a beautiful small-scale park with a beautiful wooded area where you can take great walks. Longer walks can also be done from the park.

General: the house is very suitable for residents with a disability. We had a pleasant week there Arrival: fine, no comments or remarks Downstairs bathroom: there would be more support rails in place Both bathrooms: No possibilities to put toiletries etc. on a shelf or something similar. Furthermore, mud screens in the bathroom would be recommended when showering. We found the environment very nice, quiet traffic, rural, beautiful local roads, etc.

Arrival was good. Accommodation looked fine. Spacious and equipped with all kinds of conveniences. The only (very big) disadvantage was that it was not possible to ventilate properly. Only doors could open downstairs and when you are in bed it is not pleasant to have to leave doors open for fresh air. That was really not pleasant due to the high temperatures last week. Insect screens were also missing so we had to hunt for mosquitoes and other insects every night. "In the evening we obviously opened up a bit to air out before going to sleep. That was very disappointing. The temperature in the house was usually above 28 degrees, so" open a window at night, fitted with mosquito nets, would have been nice .

Arrival goes smoothly idd: receive key in no time. Arriving in the house, the cleaning, unlike the previous reviews, turned out not to have really worked: floors were very dirty, just like the glassware. After a phone call with the reception, were able to solve this in good order. And luckily we had enough dishwasher cubes with us, because the package that one gets from the park did not contain a dishwasher cube. Tops: House itself very beautiful, very efficiently furnished. Adequate crockery / cutlery. Spatial. Some tips: the upstairs bathroom is easy to maintain, but this makes the entire floor wet after showering. Eg a wall of glass blocks, still easy to maintain, could solve this. We also missed, downstairs and upstairs in the bathroom, shelves or something, where we could place our bath items. Bathrooms are very spacious, plenty of room for that. Another tip: hooks in the kitchen for the towel and tea towel. We also noticed that the downstairs bedroom did not have the possibility to open a window or the like: the room has French doors (no turn-tilt door), and because the room is on the main road, we found we don't like the idea of opening the door. And perhaps it is also possible to add rinse aid in the dishwasher during cleaning: crockery turned out to be matt, a nice, small-scale bungalow park. Beautiful surroundings. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful cottages, nice little park. Only the shower on the ground floor was not very hot, could not be set warmer and the heating in the house was quite warm, could not be set colder ...

The accommodation was new, very clean and to a high standard with loads of space for wheelchair users. The area was great for cycling with forest trails and the usual wonderful Dutch network of routes. The experience was a cross between a holiday villa and a hotel, the villas are owned by the adjacent hotel. The experience could be improved by providing a more personal on-site service and enabling feedback on site. Particular areas to mention are; having a named hotel contact would be good with a tour of the property on arrival, there was no welcome pack or local area information, no visitor comment book - to leave suggestions for other guests (e.g. frites van in Almen on Friday, Saturday and Sunday), more equipment could be provided e.g. toaster, choice of duvet weights, DVD player, books/games, oven tray. Most importantly the property had no washing machine with no on-site communal laundry facilities available apart from the incredibly expensive hotel laundry service, staying for two weeks we ended up having to hand wash items, this needs to be addressed asap. In conclusion it is brilliant to have such a number of villas all designed to be universally accessible and suitable for people with disabilities, the flexibility with length of stay and arrival day is also great.

Very friendly staff on arrival, clear explanation. It was a beautiful holiday home adapted for the disabled. Nothing was missing, it was thought about how the house was decorated. Spacious turning circles for the wheelchair, excellent adjustable beds, a spacious bathroom fully adapted. Downstairs sliding doors, the beds were made up even for the disabled. We have no points for improvement, it was just great !!! To be repeated.
Aernoud van de Graaff
Accomedation was fine. Neat and clean. Relatively simple, but equipped with a dishwasher, etc. Spacious bedrooms, good beds, spacious showers. a total of 3 toilets. Suitable for wheelchair. House was warm (we were there in a week with 20-25c during the day and partly cloudy and that just went) and there are no screens on the windows (10 mosquitoes slapped on the first night, then we got our own mesh from the range). Environment is beautiful, beautiful nature for walking and cycling or for city trips in the area (such as Zutphen but also smaller villages). It is a small, quiet park. In the evening you could hear the silence, with only some birds in the background, nothing else.

The arrival went really well. The accommodation was excellent, everything was great, we were very pleasantly surprised how beautiful the apartment was and that everything was wheelchair accessible. We would book the holiday home again at any time, the surroundings were very quiet and pleasant and since we had dogs with us, it was ideal for everyone.

Beautiful spacious house, terrace with beautiful views and most of the day in the sun. Everything we needed was there. Bedrooms nice and spacious. The area is wonderfully quiet and beautiful for beautiful walks / bike rides.

Nice house, fully equipped, in a beautiful place. You can walk from the house so different hiking trails. Only downside for us was that you can not set the temperature yourself, the cottage was quite warm, even after requesting a lower temperature at the reception.
