Very nice and cozy house, almost directly on the sea. Just up the stairs and you're there. Cities like Renesse and Middelburg can be reached quickly by car and there are great ways to go on nice trips by bike. There is also a small playground for children in the village (5 minutes on foot) and my child had a lot of fun walking in the mudflats. Always my pleasure!

We stayed in this house from March 28, 2025, to March 7, 2025. This is what we found. Here, €65 cleaning fee + €47 service fee are taken in cash without a receipt, see photo. I wonder when it was last cleaned. The small brown spots are dead animals. The circled area in the photo was crawling around just before. The kitchen was also very dirty: the countertop was full of sugar crumbs, lipstick and coffee residue were still on the coffee cups, and the plates and cutlery were dirty, the kettle was simply filthy. No dishcloth or sponge was available. There was no garbage bag in the trash can. In the room with two beds, there was an opened bag of chips in the closet. Several lamps were also defective. The photos show that the hostess (she said she cleans the house herself) has a different idea of cleanliness. On the booking site, there is a living room with two white sofas. However, this is not correct: the living room has this gray corner sofa and two purple armchairs. The TV is also very outdated, cannot be turned on or off with the remote. To make it work, you have to plug it into the socket, sometimes pull it out and plug it back in. To turn it off, the plug must be pulled out for the TV to function or be turned off. The same goes for the promised Wi-Fi: it works, if you're lucky, only about 10% of the time. Upon arrival, you are reminded to leave the house clean. See photo of house rules. The sentence written in red there is already a cheekiness. An email I wrote on the evening of the arrival day was allegedly not received, but there was a read receipt. On the day of departure, I spoke again with the landlord. She said the house was last rented out a month ago, but the dirt we found had been there longer. It’s better to check this house thoroughly before paying the cleaning fee. We were in this house from March 28, 25 to March 7, 25. We were in this house from March 28, 25 to March 7, 25. This is what we found. Here, €65 cleaning fees + €47 service fees are taken in cash without a receipt, see photo. I wonder when it was last cleaned here. The small brown spots are dead animals. The circled one in the photo was crawling around just before. The kitchen was very dirty: the countertop was full of sugar crumbs, there was still lipstick and coffee residue on the coffee cups, and the plates and cutlery were dirty as well, the kettle simply filthy. No dishcloth or sponge was available. There was no garbage bag in the trash can. In the room with two beds, there was an opened bag of chips in the cupboard. Several lamps were also defective in the lighting. Based on the photos, it is clear that the hostess (she said she cleans the house herself) has a different notion of cleanliness. On the booking site, you see a living room with two white sofas. However, this is not correct: in the living room, there is this gray corner sofa and two purple armchairs. The TV is also very outdated and cannot be turned on or off using the remote control. To make it work, you have to plug the connector into the socket, partially pull it out, and then plug it back in. When turning it off, the plug must be pulled out for the TV to work or to be turned off. The promised Wi-Fi is the same: it works, if you're lucky, only about 10%. Upon arrival, you are reminded to leave the house clean. See photo house rules. The sentence written there in red is already cheeky. An email that I wrote on the evening of my arrival was supposedly not received, but there was a read receipt. On the day of departure, I spoke again with the landlord. She said the house was last rented out a month ago, but the dirt we found had been there for longer. Thus, the house was not cleaned after the last visitors, but the €65 for the final cleaning was collected, just like with us. It is better to check this house very carefully before paying the cleaning fee. The surroundings here are very worth seeing, but we will definitely not rent this house again and certainly will not recommend it to anyone. My rating for this house is a clear 10 minus.

No bed linen to rent, no welcome pack (garbage bags, dishwashing sponge, etc), broken drying rack, cobwebs inside and outside, poorly maintained garden, missing inventory (whisk, good measuring cup), patio door cannot be closed properly (gets stuck), many lamps are defective, towel radiator dirty, freezer door hard to open. In short: MANY areas for improvement.

We were completely satisfied, had a nice stay. We used and enjoyed the bikes several times. The kitchen was great and at the end of September it was not too warm due to the large Fensterfront.Schön is the peace in this small Ferienpark.Auf the shopping in the next place you can adjust.

on arrival a detailed report about a client who had been in this house who had left it very dirty. I think it's neat to talk to another client in this way. What won't be said about us? We arrived on Friday 08/09 afternoon. From Sunday afternoon after the heavy rain it started to stink terribly and it doesn't stop. We have had to keep the windows closed since the afternoon. In the morning at 8:00 a.m. the Verkoopkantoor opposite our domicile No 55a starts working with a roar. The holiday village is only sparsely inhabited. Despite this, our neighboring property is mowed from 8:30 a.m. - how are you supposed to spend a relaxing holiday here??? Another complaint: They advertise that the sea is 300 m away. This beach is not walkable and for us probably the cause of this stench, as the sea here is a canal with brackish water! At least that's what it looks like. This is misrepresentation. We will get in touch with our contact person and ask for a quiet oceanfront home as booked by us in good faith!
