We arrived on Friday 08/09 afternoon. From Sunday afternoon after the heavy rain it started to stink terribly and it doesn't stop. We have had to keep the windows closed since the afternoon. In the morning at 8:00 a.m. the Verkoopkantoor opposite our domicile No 55a starts working with a roar. The holiday village is only sparsely inhabited. Despite this, our neighboring property is mowed from 8:30 a.m. - how are you supposed to spend a relaxing holiday here??? Another complaint: They advertise that the sea is 300 m away. This beach is not walkable and for us probably the cause of this stench, as the sea here is a canal with brackish water! At least that's what it looks like. This is misrepresentation. We will get in touch with our contact person and ask for a quiet oceanfront home as booked by us in good faith!

We pair with a 2-year-old son were for the second time in a row in the resort in Kattendijke. The complex is very well maintained and quiet, with mostly older guests, but very child-friendly. From here Zeeland can in day trips very well explore House Sunny Oosterschelde offers a living-kitchen and two bedrooms with shower, but only a very small toilet. The biggest plus is the location. The location is fantastic. A small park with lots of privacy. When you cross the dike, you immediately reach the Oosterschelde and you can look endlessly. Eb and flood alternate. Many birds who celebrate. The cottage is light and spacious, tightly decorated..thought it was a little colorless. Something more color would make it a little more cozy. We did not miss information about the area (maps of the area, hiking and cycling tips). Also no folder with important data like: general practitioner, dentist, etc. And sorry to take your bedding and so on. Our sheets did not appear to fit (bed is 160 wide). So bought a new 2 person mattress cover at the aldi. Useful to put this on the site. Further quiet except the day when the hedges were cut: all day noise from the engine ..

A beautiful, clean, fully equipped cottage. Quietly located, directly on the Oosterschelde. An excellent base for visiting the villages and nature in the immediate vicinity. Really recommended!!! We will definitely come back. And not to forget, the cozy friendly welcome from hostess Hennie, made it complete that you feel right at home in this house.

Great bungalow and clean. A little dated but that's not a problem. Some extra adjustments in the bathroom such as a shelf to put the toiletries on is nice. The frying pans in the kitchen should also be looked at. Broken non-stick coating is not good for health.

It was a good choice to come to this Belvilla house. Very suitable accommodation, especially since we are only 2 people. Very smartly decorated and you have everything you need. Congratulations! Just adding a toaster would make it even better. Beds and showers ok. Very well located for walking and cycling. I suspect it is not possible to swim here, but it is not the season for it and it is not for us.

Very nice and cozy house, almost directly on the sea. Just up the stairs and you're there. Cities like Renesse and Middelburg can be reached quickly by car and there are great ways to go on nice trips by bike. There is also a small playground for children in the village (5 minutes on foot) and my child had a lot of fun walking in the mudflats. Always my pleasure!
