Very nice and cozy house, almost directly on the sea. Just up the stairs and you're there. Cities like Renesse and Middelburg can be reached quickly by car and there are great ways to go on nice trips by bike. There is also a small playground for children in the village (5 minutes on foot) and my child had a lot of fun walking in the mudflats. Always my pleasure!

It was a good choice to come to this Belvilla house. Very suitable accommodation, especially since we are only 2 people. Very smartly decorated and you have everything you need. Congratulations! The cottage in Kattendijke is a fine house in itself. Stylishly furnished and with a garden bordered by a hedge. Users should be aware that they may experience some inconvenience from the park's workshop located opposite the cottage. We stayed in this house from March 28, 2025, to March 7, 2025. This is what we found. Here, €65 cleaning fee + €47 service fee are taken in cash without a receipt, see photo. I wonder when it was last cleaned. The small brown spots are dead animals. The circled area in the photo was crawling around just before. The kitchen was also very dirty: the countertop was full of sugar crumbs, lipstick and coffee residue were still on the coffee cups, and the plates and cutlery were dirty, the kettle was simply filthy. No dishcloth or sponge was available. There was no garbage bag in the trash can. In the room with two beds, there was an opened bag of chips in the closet. Several lamps were also defective. The photos show that the hostess (she said she cleans the house herself) has a different idea of cleanliness. On the booking site, there is a living room with two white sofas. However, this is not correct: the living room has this gray corner sofa and two purple armchairs. The TV is also very outdated, cannot be turned on or off with the remote. To make it work, you have to plug it into the socket, sometimes pull it out and plug it back in. To turn it off, the plug must be pulled out for the TV to function or be turned off. The same goes for the promised Wi-Fi: it works, if you're lucky, only about 10% of the time. Upon arrival, you are reminded to leave the house clean. See photo of house rules. The sentence written in red there is already a cheekiness. An email I wrote on the evening of the arrival day was allegedly not received, but there was a read receipt. On the day of departure, I spoke again with the landlord. She said the house was last rented out a month ago, but the dirt we found had been there longer. Thus, the house was not cleaned after the last guests, but the €65 for the final cleaning was collected, just like it was from us. It’s better to check this house thoroughly before paying the cleaning fee. The surroundings here are very worth seeing, but we will definitely not rent this house again and will not recommend it at all. My rating for this house is a flat 10 minus.

We did not miss information about the area (maps of the area, hiking and cycling tips). The circled one in the photo was crawling around just before. Small park, right on the Oosterschelde (dike over and you can enjoy the tides). Nice house, neat, enough privacy. The bicycles that would be there according to the description were not there, but we did not miss them.

Very nice and cozy house, almost directly on the sea. Just up the stairs and you're there. Cities like Renesse and Middelburg can be reached quickly by car and there are great ways to go on nice trips by bike. There is also a small playground for children in the village (5 minutes on foot) and my child had a lot of fun walking in the mudflats. Always my pleasure!

The cottage in Kattendijke is a fine house in itself. Stylishly furnished and with a garden bordered by a hedge. Users should be aware that they may experience some inconvenience from the park's workshop located opposite the cottage. In addition, the cottage lacks facilities such as a Senseo, mixer, toaster and glassware is also only available to a limited extent. But those who love cycling and appreciate the Zeeland landscape can spend pleasant days here. Finally, we consider the cottage less suitable for people with children.

Nice house with misses. No bed linen to rent, no welcome pack (garbage bags, dishwashing sponge, etc), broken drying rack, cobwebs inside and outside, poorly maintained garden, missing inventory (whisk, good measuring cup), patio door cannot be closed properly (gets stuck), many lamps are defective, towel radiator dirty, freezer door hard to open. In short: MANY areas for improvement.

We arrived on Friday 08/09 afternoon. From Sunday afternoon after the heavy rain it started to stink terribly and it doesn't stop. We have had to keep the windows closed since the afternoon. In the morning at 8:00 a.m. the Verkoopkantoor opposite our domicile No 55a starts working with a roar. The holiday village is only sparsely inhabited. Despite this, our neighboring property is mowed from 8:30 a.m. - how are you supposed to spend a relaxing holiday here??? Another complaint: They advertise that the sea is 300 m away. This beach is not walkable and for us probably the cause of this stench, as the sea here is a canal with brackish water! At least that's what it looks like. This is misrepresentation. We will get in touch with our contact person and ask for a quiet oceanfront home as booked by us in good faith!
