This is a beautiful 3-bedroom holiday home in Kattendijke. It's located next to the Oosterschelde National Park and is ideal for nature-loving families.
There are many unusual bird and plant types in this area. The brackish water in the Oosterschelde contributed to a habitat for some rare life forms. Dive underwater and explore this area with an experienced guide. You'll find the most delicious shellfish in the town of Yerseke, 'mussel capital' of the Netherlands. Remember to visit the Yerseke Moer, an old peat bog area located between the towns of Yerseke, Wemeldinge and Kapelle. Trips to towns like Goes, with its golf course, Middelburg and Bergen op Zoom, are all easy to take. There's a restaurant in the holiday park and also one 5 km away. There's a supermarket 5 km away as well.
The home has a modern open kitchen. There's a lovely garden with a partially covered terrace where you can relax.

Accommodation was fine. Only it smelled terrible in the house. We think that was because the sewer behind our house was broken. Called the park manager. According to him that was true. He would send a man. But few happened. Could not open the windows of our bedrooms.

Nice quiet area, easy private parking at the cottage. The kitchen is well equipped, good beds and a good view of the garden, where a couple of ducks regularly visit. Minuses were that the 2nd shower was not usable because of a defective shower door, some lights need to be replaced and the WiFi connection was not always that powerful.

We have been very nice, the accommodation is very quiet and the decor is very modern. The accommodation is located directly on the dike, perfect for cycling and walking.

Looking for peace and birdwatching, here you will find it in ample stock. Although luxury furnishings of the accommodation are less practical (certainly not for kitchen) and a bit of mobile home feeling (due to horror and rooms with single beds are quite small)

1. The water hand on the kitchen sink is loose
2. 2 blackout blinds on the bedroom windows are broken
3. the wheels on the dishwasher basket have broken off
4. The living room door to the terrace could hardly be opened and locked

House very neat and spacious, very good beds, only the kitchen was sparsely equipped with glasses and kitchen utensils, no mixer, no thermos, no colander, no bowls, is not fully equipped for enthusiasts to cook for themselves. What is also missing is a barbeque so be sure to bring your own.

We have a good stay here in Kattendijke. The accommodation is better than previous accommodations in Holland. With three bathrooms, we assumed two toilets. Unfortunately it is only a toilet. The description could be a bit more precise. Otherwise we are satisfied.

The house is beautiful, equipped with all facilities. But very deferred maintenance. The sofa and armchair did not sit for a meter. Very saggy. There were five of us and there were only 4 chairs at the dining table. Curtain in bedroom could not be raised. I always had the control handle of the tap in the kitchen in my hands. The bottom drawer of the dishwasher kept dropping down so that the flushing mechanism didn't work. The sink in the kitchen leak, fixed itself. Probably been going on for a while, because the water was under the laminate. From there there was a strong musty smell. Penetrate into the bedroom. And from the shower also a musty smell came into the bedroom. The floor was broken from the bathroom. There was a rubber mat on it. A few spots in the room, and outside lighting at the front door, kitchen lighting did not work at all. Huge stench in the storage room. Incomplete crockery. Very kindly received by the lady who runs it. If there was a little earlier in and a little later out.

Nice, well-kept house, in a great location. The house actually has everything you need, a few little things could be added to make it perfect, such as a toaster. The note that the double bed has a large mattress would have been great in the description , I only read it by chance in the recessions and we brought our own duvets because we don't have such bed linen. You can start many excursions from here. The "beach" behind the dike was enough for our children to collect shells there For more it is not suitable as you have to drive a little further. All in all we enjoyed this holiday and you can recommend it.

The house is spacious enough, but the contents need to be replaced, the seating has been used, dining table badly damaged, lighting partly works, dishwasher has cures. This is not what I expected at a luxurious home.
