Very small house, but we knew that. Almost no storage space for clothes, so you live out of your suitcase. Couch too small and sagging. We booked for a week, but left just after 4 days.

A beautiful environment and the peace that is really wonderful, the cottage was big enough, we enjoyed it. The only downside was that the cleaning is still far from satisfactory, it was already mentioned in the notebook but unfortunately nothing was done about it. Dirty toilet bowl, dirty corners in the bathroom, a lot of dust between and behind the heating, dirty baseboards, and thick piles of dog poop in the garden. If you have allergies to dust, it is not recommended as long as it is not cleaned.

Atmosphere-less and shabby interior. Bright ceiling spotlights. (Bedroom) Bed linen set old, thin, and worn out. No proper wardrobe. Central heating boiler in a cabinet right next to your bed. And it keeps turning on. Bring your own pillow. Curtain is half hanging. (Bathroom) No hooks to hang anything. Two rods next to the sink to hang your towel. Toilet has no water-saving button. (Living room) Bright ceiling spotlights, no ambient light/lamp. No comfortable couch/chair, miserable dining table - chairs, in other words, a shabby-looking interior. (Nothing wrong with second-hand furniture, though). And for 1 week, 1 set of kitchen towels. Also for towels, but oh well. (Those were good). And handy a dishwasher. I am generally a grateful and content person. But this, for the top price of 1400 euros for a week, I had a completely different expectation. For 500 euros it would have been somewhat acceptable. The park is indeed a nice park in a beautiful area and a cozy restaurant. A different cottage next time.

Unfortunately, the house and the surroundings do not match the description and pictures at all, everything is very worn and, above all, not clean at all. When we arrived, there was a trail of ants in the kitchen cupboards.

The way the reception on site and Belvilla's customer service dealt with our complaint was absolutely bad. The processing time and the result are both ridiculous.

We strongly advise against booking the house or booking through Belvilla in general!

Cozy little house in a pleasant and leafy car-free park in the forests of Stramproy. With a private sauna, fully equipped. Roermond (including Outlet) and Weert are nearby and there are many walking and cycling routes, also through Belgium. Place to relax.

Unfortunately we were only 2 days, but if we had known we would have stayed longer. The cottage was perfect everything on and on. Very beautiful surroundings, many hiking trails. All in all great to recharge. We would love to come back again.

Welcome at the reception went very well. You can enter the park by car to bring your luggage into the accommodation. After this, the car can be parked in a large parking lot. The house is very beautiful on first impression. Later you discover that the interior space also has its limitations. If you can use the veranda and the garden it is a great location. Unfortunately for us it was too cold outside. We did walk a few sturdy walking routes via clearly marked posts with color symbols. We will definitely book a stay here again.

We can only advise against booking this house. A really worthless bed that is also delivered with 2 separate thin blankets, while a large duvet has clearly been used in the photos. Furthermore, it is absolutely not clean in the house, it stinks when you enter. Something that is absolutely known is, because all the windows were open while it was freezing! This obviously does not invite you to be nice in the house, so we left early and will discuss with Belvilla regarding a refund. The location is fine, but that does not outweigh the the inconveniences.WiFi cannot be used in the house (outside it is) and virtually no 4G range on your phone, so keep that in mind.Very nothing in the house in terms of spices, etc., not even salt and pepper.

A very spacious and long driveway to the house, but we were not allowed to leave the car at the house. Only when loading or unloading the car was allowed to stand there for a while. The bathroom had no window and the extractor did not work. The guests before us had apparently made a mess of it, told the reception and they had cleaned with a lot of chlorine. After 48 hours in the house we still couldn't stand in the bathroom for more than 10 minutes because of the pungent chlorine smell. The pictures showed a double bed but these were 2 separate beds. Not even with a common blanket. We ordered sandwiches once in the morning but got a completely different bag of order, but it was the last one there so we had to make do with that. There were also cockroaches in the bathroom and sauna room so not very pleasant to have to walk around there.

I really enjoyed the house. It is nice at the end of the park, so you do not "bother" anyone else I found the house on the small side and not very clean. There was mold everywhere. The park was quiet and relatively small. I enjoyed the wooded area.

Our expectations for a holiday apartment were absolutely met. Practically furnished, spacious, clean and quiet location. Plus extremely friendly landlords. The key handover was extremely uncomplicated. The location is ideal for excursions and hikes.

Unfortunately, the house and the surroundings do not match the description and pictures at all, everything is very worn and, above all, not clean at all. When we arrived, there was a trail of ants in the kitchen cupboards.

The way the reception on site and Belvilla's customer service dealt with our complaint was absolutely bad. The processing time and the result are both ridiculous.

We strongly advise against booking the house or booking through Belvilla in general!

The infrared sauna was more than welcome, which we have used almost daily, after many walks in the wooded area. The cottage itself has everything, excellent kitchen, nice beds, a small and large bath towel for each (if you want to change daily, bring some extra towels yourself) kitchen towels dishcloth and dishwasher tablets, dishes and cleaning agent are also provided. In the evenings cozy on the terrace (mosquito spray necessary :_) All in all a very pleasant stay. We go home very relaxed.

Cottage was nice and was well cared for. Beds were very soft for us and on arrival there were still nuts under the couch. The clogged sewerage was immediately cleared. All in all, fine, but with some issues. We also received 4 towels for a whole week with 2 people...
