Description
The holiday home is quietly situated on the edge of the Porta Isola villa park and has a very beautiful garden that allows plenty of privacy
The house was renovated in 2020, the floors (parquet, laminate, tiles) were renewed, the shower bath on the upper floor and the guest toilet on the ground floor were completely renewed. The house offers 2 parking spaces and has a living space of 85 sqm and is suitable for up to 4 people. The house is a non-smoking house. W-LAN is available in the house free of charge.
On the ground floor there is a small hallway with wardrobe, the comfortably furnished living room with couch and recliner, smart TV, internet radio, a dining area and the open kitchen with gas cooker, oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment as well as other electrical appliances (kettle, egg boiler, blender, coffee maker (filter, pad). In the utility room you will find a washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, hot air fryer and electric grill as well as various garden accessories. If necessary, you can store your bicycles there. There is also a separate toilet on the lower floor.
A typical Dutch staircase leads to the upper floor, where there are two bedrooms for 2 people each. In both rooms you will find plenty of storage space in the wardrobes. In the larger bedroom there is a mobile air conditioner (the accessories are in the utility room), should there be hot summer days. The bathroom has a glazed shower, a washstand with generous storage space and a mirrored cabinet.
The beautiful private garden with a spacious terrace can be accessed from the living room. Here you will find two sun loungers as well as a table and chairs for 4 people. The large awning provides shade.
From the holiday home you can walk through the park to the marina. It is wonderful to watch the beautiful boats from the quay. There is a restaurant just behind the entrance to the park, where you can relax on the beautifully situated terrace in the summer months, enjoy coffee and cake, a snack or a delicious dinner. When the weather is not so nice, the restaurant's winter garden invites you to linger.

Location and surroundings of object
The Tamore holiday home is located in the heart of Limburg, directly on the Maasplassen on the outskirts of Stevenswert and in the immediate vicinity of the marina in the Porta Isola villa park.
The Maasplassen are one of Limburg's many pearls. The Maas Lakes are an extensive, interconnected network of large and small lakes created by gravel extraction. Covering an area of over 3000 hectares, it is the largest contiguous water sports area in the Netherlands.
Stevensweert and Ohé en Laak together form the island in the Meuse. The Meuse is also the border to Belgium here. Stevensweert is one of the most beautiful villages in Limburg. Originally, Stevensweert was a fortified town, which is also reflected in the streetscape. The main attraction is the town centre itself.
In Stevensweert you can visit the Hompesche Molen, the highest mill in Limburg, built in 1722. The Molenplas nature park is in the immediate vicinity. This invites you to go hiking or bird watching. Galloway cattle and Konik horses live in the park. There is a stone bridge and a bird watching tower. Maybe you feel like visiting the sensational ice cream parlour in Ohe en Laak "IJssalon Laaker Boere ies". You will not be disappointed.
From Stevensweert you can go on beautiful walking and cycling tours. Thorn - the white city on the Maas - is worth a visit. Here you should definitely visit the Pannekoekenhaus
The national park "De Meinweg" is also not far away and invites you to go on hiking or cycling tours.
If you want to go shopping, you can do so in Echt (Jumbo, Aldi), about 5 km away, or in Maasbracht (Lidl, Plus). A small shop where you can also get fresh bread rolls from Monday to Saturday is located in the centre of Stevensweert. Maaseik in Belgium is also not far away (11 km). Maasmechelen is about 35 km away and you can visit the outlet there. This is also possible on the Dutch side in the designer outlet Roermond (about 20 km away). Don't forget the old town of Roermond, with its restaurants and bars and nice shops.
Valkenburg or Maastricht (approx. 40 km away) are also worth a detour
People come to Valkenburg to discover the mines and caves with drawings dating back to Roman times; another attraction is the ruins of Valkenburg Castle and the many restaurants and small shops
Maastricht, with Belgium to the west and the German border only a few kilometres away to the east, is the capital of Limburg. Maastricht is undoubtedly one of the most popular shopping destinations in the Netherlands. The "French flair" and the city's location on the river Maas are particularly beautiful. Some shops are even located directly on the riverbank. The "Vrijthof" square is a particularly good starting point for a shopping trip, from where you can explore the "Grote Staat" pedestrian zone with its countless large and small (side) streets. Almost all shops and business areas are open 7 days a week. The area around the Stokstraat is absolutely worth mentioning: chic boutiques and small eateries have settled in the narrow alleys and restored houses from the 17th and 18th centuries. The most famous market in Maastricht takes place on the square of the same name, the Markt. Surrounded by the imposing town hall and stately mansions, traders sell their wares every Wednesday (200 stalls) and Friday (300 stalls).
Of course, you can also rent boats or bicycles, including e-bikes, on site.
Whether by car, on foot, by bike or even by water, there is always something to do. Let yourself be enchanted by the beautiful landscape at the Meuse lakes and the beautiful towns of the Limburg region.

Holiday over New Year's Eve
First, we had very nice contact right from the beginning, with many suggestions for the holiday. The house has everything you need, dishes... in large quantities, it was super clean and the beds were also great. It was also nicely decorated for the Advent season, we felt very comfortable all around. We would love to come back.

Immaculately clean and lovingly furnished holiday home
Super great, clean holiday home. Very large living-dining area with kitchen. The bedrooms on the upper floor and the bathroom have enough space. There is even a guest toilet on the lower floor.
Nothing is missing and everything is well thought out. The cozy garden provides good relaxation. The house is in a quiet location. Here you can feel good.
We had a very nice contact with the landlady. We were already sent many excursion tips and suggestions in advance. After entering the holiday home for the first time, we even found a small welcome greeting.

Pure relaxation!
The holiday home offers peace and tranquility, which can be particularly enjoyed in the small garden. We were able to easily undertake outings, partly by bike, which were recommended by the landlord. We enjoyed our time and would love to come back.

Goed onderhouden vrijstaande woning met een hele mooie tuin.
De gastheer en gastvrouw zijn zeer vriendelijk en de communicatie is uitstekend.
Het vakantiehuis is van alle gemakken voorzien en er ontbreekt niets.
Ook de bedden liggen uitstekend en de badkamer is goed verlicht.
Let op: de douchebak is erg glad, dus je moet voorzichtig zijn.

We had very nice contact with the landlords Kerstin and Heribert. Many excursion tips and suggestions were sent to us in advance. The house is very tastefully furnished and with a lot of heart. We didn't miss anything and felt very comfortable immediately.
The weather gods also treated us very well, so we were able to have breakfast on the nicely prepared terrace every morning. After that, we always started the new day of vacation in the best mood and completely rested. Unfortunately, we had to leave again after 10 days, but super relaxed and relaxed, start the journey home.

A peaceful oasis on the Maas
We would like to thank the hosts. After entering the house for the first time, we found warm welcome greetings. The house is lovingly furnished, very clean, and has everything you need. Especially the garden with sun loungers, barbecue, natural shade, and birdsong invite you to linger in the garden. A folder containing many suggestions and tips for excursions and activities is available. Thanks to the hosts for this service. We were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Relaxing days at the Maas
Beautifully furnished, well-maintained, bright house with a large terrace and garden in a holiday park. It is quiet here and the house offers everything for a relaxing holiday. The area is perfect for cycling, going for nice walks, or visiting the beach. There are nice restaurants within walking distance and a shaded mini-golf course with a great beer garden was also lots of fun. A bus leaves every hour to Roermond and Echt, from where it is easy to continue by train to the surrounding areas such as Maastricht or Venlo. In short, a great location for an adventurous holiday. We would love to come back.

: A paradise
We were looking for relaxation and tranquility from everyday life and found it in the Tamore house.
A sweet little garden, a lovingly furnished house where everything is available that you need. Super clean and very stylishly furnished.
A few minutes' walk to the lake, a few minutes' drive to various towns.

"Excellent"
Once again, many thanks to the hosts. We felt very comfortable. The house is located in a quiet park and is equipped with everything and decorated with love. We particularly liked the beautifully laid out garden, and there is also the possibility to barbecue. You can always contact the hosts if you have questions, such as bicycle rental. If you want to explore the surroundings, there are plenty of tips available in the house. If you like hiking or cycling, this is the perfect place to stay. The Tamore holiday home was a stroke of luck
We can only fully agree with the positive reviews of our previous tenants - everything was perfect
everything was perfect, like a second home. We were even able to store our e-bikes well and safely.
We used our stay to explore the area with our bikes. The cycle path network
is varied and leads through green, flowering countryside, nice places and often with a view of the Meuse or the lakes. Even through the cities (Roermond, Maastricht) you feel safe on the well-developed cycle paths.
We liked everything very much and will definitely come again.

Small holiday as a family
We spent a few days in Stevensweert. The house is very beautiful and tastefully decorated. The communication with the landlords was very pleasant. Great stay!
We felt right at home in the Tamore holiday home. The furnishings are thoughtful and loving, nothing is missing for a pleasant stay.
The owners have taken a lot of trouble to provide information on leisure activities.
There is a lot to discover in the surrounding area. It invites you to go for walks, sightseeing and cycling tours.

Very nice accommodation, great surroundings
We felt very comfortable in the holiday home. It is tastefully furnished, was very clean and well maintained. Especially the kitchen is well equipped - we didn't miss anything. The house is located in a quiet villa park near the Stevensweert Marina. From here you can explore the surrounding area, Maastricht, Valkenburg and Roermond are not far away. In spring or summer it must be even nicer, when you can also use the beautiful quiet garden. We had a good rest and will definitely come back.

Feel good, experience
A successful start to the year at Tamore House. The booking, check-in and check-out went smoothly. The pretty house is beautifully and quietly situated in the "Porta Isola" holiday complex in Steevenswert.
The house is stylishly furnished and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday.
Everything is very clean and the complex is very well maintained. In the immediate vicinity there are various restaurants and a beautiful marina.
We recommend a trip to Thorn (border town to Belgium) and hiking in the national park "De Meinweg". After an eventful day in nature with many impressions, you return to the house with privacy and cosiness.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely book this holiday home again.
