Huis Zeedijk 2 is a very nice place, in the middle of the untouched landscape on the Waddendijk. Views, sea breeze, birds, peace and space. A super place for nature and those who enjoy peace and quiet

Beautiful and large house in a wonderful, quiet location. The downside is that the locks open very difficult, especially if you have a slight disability in your right hand, like me.

Great big house, in the middle of nowhere. At night it is completely quiet - wonderful! Slot is very bad, which is a minus point because I am somewhat limited with my right hand.

Upon arrival the gas fire burned and that felt like a warm welcome. It is a pity that the contact person could not just drop by but it is a modern house and everything was clear.

Nothing is missing in this bungalow. Well located to visit a nice spot from here. There is a good chance that you will see a beautiful sunset from the dike. Super quiet and plenty of space around the bungalow. Rooms and rooms are spacious and the decorative fireplace makes it complete. Here and there a spider web, but that shouldn't spoil the fun because otherwise it is neat and clean.

House was perfectly clean and the fireplace was aam upon entering. Rooms very neat, beds made. Clean kitchen and basically everything you need for a weekend of fresh air. Extremely hospitable and good contact with the host. Seating area is a bit small for 6 people, water pressure varies a bit and we had inconvenience from the guests of the neighboring house the first night. Didn't detract from a successful weekend.

We had a great stay at the house - the arrangements for the handover of the key were made easily and flexible - it was no problem for the host that we arrived later than the times advertised on the booking website. The location of the house is nice and quiet. The sea is very nearby but not suitable for swimming, which we knew beforehand. The seaside is great for walk and biking however. The playground was perfect for our kids - it could use some love though, some of the play equipment needs some maintenance. We brought some bikes, which helped us getting around. It would be great though if one could rent bikes through the host.

Lovely space in the house and in the Frisian landscape. Nice running on the Wad. Watching lambs. And behind the house the (still) bare fields. The house we found clean, practical and very comfortable with that fireplace.

Very nice, spacious and well-kept house. The location (directly behind the dike, so that in a few seconds the sea is reached) is ideal for a relaxing holiday. Franeker, Harlingen and Leuwardden are recommended by car also quickly erreichen.Resümee Very !!!

The house is fine Everything is there Good beds and nice showers On arrival there was no one and the back door turned out to be open and the keys were on the table in the info folder We were not told so we have put the communication with the owner on bad It would have been nicer if we had known this The house itself is not really attractive and could still be decorated a bit Furthermore, it is noisy and it echoes throughout the house because there are few window coverings and possibly rugs on the floor and the doors squeak in all, we have found it a great house and in a beautiful location Had only placed the living room at the back because the view is more beautiful At the front you look against the dike There is a nice garden and also for the little ones a playground nearby

Delicious! A place where the night is still pitch black and the view (of the dike) endless. Beautiful sunset when the sun seems to hit the Wadden Sea. Stroll over or at the bottom of the dike while watching the thousands of birds on the mudflats. Delicious!

We arrived a bit later because of the flight from Norway to the Netherlands, and that was no problem for the owner, but according to the telephonist I had to book the flight to the Netherlands but I had to take that into account !!! There are also so many flights from Ålesund to Amsterdam !! Owner was fearless and helpful the telephonists of Aan Zee cottages anything but helpful!

The cottage was really beautiful, cozy, clean and spacious. On arrival there was a bottle of wine ready for us and there was a folder with lots of clear information about the house and the area. The house is next to the dike and behind it you will immediately find the Wadden Sea. The garden with BBQ was also very spacious and for the kids a small playground next to it. In short, all completely to your liking and well cared for.

Beautiful house, decor moderate. The seating area has no seating for 6 people, few light points in the seating area. Lamps were missing in the kitchen, as well as on the top floor. The number of crockery was much less than stated in the folder. The glassware drawer was blocked. We had a storm and roof tiles had been blown off the roof on the path in front of the front door. A number of roof tiles were hanging loose, as did the neighbors. Warned on Christmas Day. The owner would be warned. We have heard nothing more about it. The day of the departure we were not ready on time. This had its reason, but it was not asked about. The approach was rude and unpleasant. All this cast a (small) shadow on the beautiful residence on the Wad

We were a bit shocked on arrival. It was very bad weather (code orange) and the house was abandoned on the coast. However, we were very friendly welcomed by the caretaker. Fortunately, the next day the sun was shining and the day it looked much better. Unfortunately, the very first supermarket 5 kilometers away. There is no street, so after 19 hours it is there in this season pitch dark and you can not hit the road, because the roads are very narrow and you see nothing. It was neat clean and tidy.
