Surrounded by lush green views, this cottage promises a night of tranquil sleep to guests who are looking to relax. There are two charming cottages at a wonderful location, bordering right on the forest and dune area of Egmond aan Zee and where there are no cars apart from the owner's.
Upon entry, guests are always greeted with a bouquet of fresh flowers. Ideal for two adults, this charming cottage has floor heating, living room with open kitchen apart from a bedroom and bathroom.
Outside, you can enjoy lounging on the garden furniture or under the parasol. The owner has also provided free Wifi for guests.
From the home, guests can walk right into the North Holland dune area and the beach of Egmond aan Zee is also at walking distance. Amsterdam is a short drive from Egmond aan Zee, which makes for a great day trip.
During spring, guests can enjoy total serenity and the views of farmlands and bulb fields.

We spent a very nice holiday in a very quiet environment. The apartment is located away from the crowds and has its own small Gartem with garden furniture where you can have breakfast in good weather, overlooking the field. Nevertheless, you can walk in 15 minutes in the city or on the beach. The owner are very friendly. We think that this apartment deserves a star more at the Aan Zee review.

Nice place to stay, where you can relax very well. Very nice landlord who let a desired at rest. The only downside is that the road to the sea and in the center is too far. By bike it is however not a problem. All in all very recommendable.

The special feature of this house is its - up to the inevitable flight to Amsterdam - absolutely peaceful and beautiful location. The next resident owners are very friendly but not intrusive. Away from the "hustle" the house offers peace and quiet, but also close to public life when Mandaran wants to participate.

Very, very nice holiday home with great surroundings. Located directly on the forest, where you can go for a walk great. Albert Heijn is directly on foot near. The beach is walking distance, about 15-20 minutes. Very nice owner, not get very love to go back only to the season because of something higher price;)

A nice, cozy, well-equipped house with very friendly and uncomplicated owners. Beautiful surroundings: close walk to the dunes and only about 1 -1.5 km from the North Sea beach - ideal for cycling and dune \/ beach -walks (also on cool and rainy summer days!)

This is great place to stay, the house meets everything and is super cozy and clean and equipped. The area is also very beautiful, beach, beautiful towns and lovely cycling. Very nice house, you walk straight into the dunes, and on the other hand, close to the village. Lots of light and space. Cozy cottage, we felt right at home. Nice view. Warm welcome by Peter and Ina. Recommended!

De Cottage is a lovely, well furnished accommodation and ideally situated for travelling around Noord-Holland. It is in a very quiet and secure location with an excellent view from the garden across bulb fields. Piet and Ina made us most welcome. There are plenty of shops in the area, with an Albert Heijn supermarket being within walking distance. We found Egmond aan Zee to be one of the nicest of Dutch coastal villages, with the restaurants, bars and beach an easy cycle ride (perhaps 20 minutes to walk) from De Cottage. Tip if you go to Alkmaar centre (perhaps for the touristic cheese market on Friday), leave the crowds behind by taking a stroll round the maze of tiny streets across the canal from the Grote Markt, which are packed with history and interest.

We were warmly welcomed by Piet and Ina. The cottage was comfortable and neat. The sunrise was spectacular and at the cottage is also a lawn as a terrace that borders the bulb fields. In the spring it must be even more beautiful here. You walk into the dunes and you can follow one of the trails.

Nice little self-contained accommodation with friendly landlords. Very pleasant for our stay with our dog, as there was an open-air area in the immediate vicinity on the way to the beach. Dogs were allowed on the beach until 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
