Stylish renovated apartments, in an "agriturismo", where the famous wine "Chianti dei Colli Fiorentini" and olive oil "extravergine" are produced and sold.
The building has an old history: in 1189, it was already recorded in an antique document.The apartments are renovated, but the typical Tuscany style has been kept, completed with modern comfort. Next to the agriturismo, you will find an antique church, the "Chiesa di San Lorenzo" (XII century). Around the house, you can enjoy the panorama over the green hills with olive trees.
There is a big garden with swimming pool and other facilities. This accommodation is ideal for a peaceful holiday and suitable to pay a visit to the Chianti area. Firenze is within 21km, San Gimignano within 38 km.
Stylish renovated apartments, in an "agriturismo", where the famous wine "Chianti dei Colli Fiorentini" and olive oil "extravergine" are produced and sold.
Each apartment features an internal area with pergola for open-air dining.
The property also boasts a small, old church that may be used upon request for weddings or other religious celebrations.

Two days before our departure we received an email (in Dutch) that they have come to expect with 2 mobile numbers where we would arrive sooner or later if they could contacteren.De reception was very friendly. We could go with all our questions in Dutch, which is really handy was.Het was pleasant stay and very quiet.

Castelvecchio is a beautiful winery, beautifully situated on a hill, with a flat bottom, on the sunny side, a guest house containing a number of comfortable apartments. The apartments are simply but tastefully furnished and equipped with the necessary utensils. The location is tops for visiting Florence as well as Siena, San Gimignano and Volterra are easy to drive. It is still the most calm and greenery. Overall a wonderful place. The pool is a little further from the house, on a 200m hill op.Aardige and decent people in Castelvecchio welcome and are available if you need anything.

If you like peace and quiet in an unforgettable setting among vineyards and olive groves, then Castelvecchio recommended. It is also the ideal base for day trips to Florence, Siena and San Gimignano. The reception of the host is more than cordial and she gives fun tips and tricks for a successful stay. There is even someone present who speaks Dutch!

It was to look for the cottage, as the tom tom did not know well, but when we finally had had a great holiday. The cottage was fine, happy little inside hooves down. The pergola outside is great for both day and evening. In addition, the location of the agriturismo compared to the beautiful Tuscan towns very good. Florence, Siena and San Gimignano are all within 45 minutes drive. In addition, the wine tasting (and buying some bottles) highly recommended at Castel Vecchio.

very warm welcome by our host, we received a very nice bottle of wine (from their own vineyard ofcourse -)) and a free upgrade to a bigger apartment. The location is quiet and peaceful with a very nice view. The apartment is clean, everything you need (kitchen tools, ..) is present.
