Description
We have lovingly furnished our certified "5-star holiday home" to a high standard as a feel-good house for families. No matter what time of year you come here, you will never be bored. On approx. 100 sqm of living space on the ground floor and first floor, you will find everything you could imagine for an exclusive holiday. Rustic oak furniture in all living rooms give the house a very special flair. A high-quality leather settee with relax function in the living area guarantees a relaxing evening by the fireplace and the 40" LCD TV. If it is still too cold for you, there is a sauna in the bathroom on the ground floor. A second bathroom is located on the upper floor. There is another LCD TV in one of the bedrooms on the upper floor. The comfortable kitchen is part of the very spacious living and dining area on the ground floor. The outdoor area has a large south/west corner terrace with beach chair (in the summer months), parasol, 2 garden tables, 8 garden chairs and 2 loungers. In the small garden house you will find an electric barbecue and a handcart with pneumatic tyres.

Location and surroundings of object
The island of Usedom is located in the north-east of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Our house is on the edge of a small settlement with 11 similar homes on a cul de sac with no through traffic. Quiet step you need from the "Island House" about 15 minutes. from the Baltic Sea beach (fine-grained sand) or about the same time to the backwaters.

| Our prices include VAT and all additional costs, except visitor's tax. Currently, the visitor's tax according to the statutes of the municipality of Zempin is € 0.80 to € 2.30, depending on the time of travel. Electricity, WiFi, water, gas, sauna, washing machine and tumble dryer use are included in the rental price. Of course, you can also book a short holiday with a minimum stay of three nights outside the high season (Easter and summer) (Easter and summer). Our holiday home is particularly suitable for a multi-generational holiday and friendly families with children. All interior rooms of the house have underfloor heating and are fitted with high-quality tiles or cork flooring (sleeping areas). In the bathrooms there are additional wall radiators, which all together guarantee a pleasant warmth, even in the colder seasons. The kitchen area also has a toaster, coffee maker, kettle, blender, ***freezer with 2 compartments. Washing machine, tumble dryer, rotary dryer (outside), clothes horse (inside), ironing board, iron, hair dryer, safe and a first aid kit (hopefully never needed) are also part of the equipment. To ensure that our little guests also have a pleasant holiday, our "island house" has toddler and children's crockery, children's cutlery, 2 children's high chairs, 1 baby bath, step stools in the bathrooms, 1 cot with duvet and pillow, 1 children's travel cot, children's books and games, garden and beach toys and, of course, the handcart for transport to and from the beach. A mesh door on the upper floor at the stairs to the ground floor reduces parents' worries. For your and our safety, smoke detectors are installed throughout the house.

perfectly equipped holiday home in a quiet location
We spent relaxing days on Usedom during the winter holidays, which were somewhat mixed in terms of weather. It was perfect to bridge rainy periods with a sauna and fireplace.
The furnishings are the best and most comprehensive we have found so far in about 10 holiday homes on the Baltic Sea. The house was super clean and the care from the landlord and the house management was exemplary.
The location is good - 4 stars for the partly grown quiet residential area all around with also still some "GDR-grey" facade in sight and compared to the dream view from the terrace over mountains and sea enjoyed elsewhere in summer.
You can spend your holiday here without a car, but you have more flexibility if you can quickly go shopping to Koserow with its fantastic new pier or to Zinnowitz.

Wir bedanken uns für die überwiegend positive Bewertung dieses Aufenthaltes. Ein Traumblick von der Terrasse über Berge und Meer ist jedoch nicht Inhalt der Objektbeschreibung unseres Hauses. Die graue Fassade eines angrenzenden EFH (Baujahr um 1995) wurde vor einigen Jahren weiß gestrichen. Bald sind auch wieder Blätter an den Bäumen und Büschen.

Fantastic holiday home
The feeling of arriving and immediately feeling at home is guaranteed in this holiday home. All rooms are lovingly designed and everything you need is available. The service was excellent from the planning of the holiday to the departure. The village of Zempin, where this house is located, is quiet and relaxation is guaranteed. All in all, we will definitely come back to this, with a justifiably 5 star rating, and can heartily recommend it.

Great holiday home
The Inselhaus Zempin is an oasis of well-being
The furnishings leave nothing to be desired. You feel right at home. Great garden, great terrace. You can relax here very well. In 5 minutes you can walk to the endless beach or the Achterwasser, where the relaxation continues because it is not overcrowded.
The contact and the handling from arrival to departure were excellent
We will be back every time.

A truly successful vacation
We were looking for accommodation that would provide enough space for us, the children, and our granddaughter. We found the perfect house: great facilities, clean, homely, lovingly decorated. Important details have also been taken care of, e.g., child safety gate at the top of the stairs, safe storage of bicycles in the garden shed.

We have been renting out our holiday flats and houses on the German Baltic Sea coast to guests for 10 years. We have had our island houses in Zempin and Heringsdorf on the island of Usedom certified by the DTV with 5 stars. Even though this is not possible in Spain, we have transferred the same standard to Tenerife. We acquired this house at the end of 2013 and rebuilt it almost completely in 2014. We are happy when our guests feel comfortable in the island house.
