Located in Villefranche-du-Périgord, this pet-friendly holiday home has 4 bedrooms and hosts upto 9 people. Featuring a terrace and barbecue for spending relaxed days, it is ideal for a group of 9 or families with children to occupy.
The region is a walled village of 13th century and is surrounded by forests. There are many swimming lakes in Prats-du-Périgord at 12 km, Cazals at 8 km and Frayssinet at 10 km. A short drive will take you to Monpazier at 26 km, Villeréal at 40 km and Cahors at 42 km. You can find a tennis court, swimming pool, restaurants and supermarket at 7 km.
The interiors are cosy with the heating. You can enjoy the warmth of the fireplace and lounge in the living-dining room. Have fun with table tennis in the evening. A barbecue meal outdoors is also a wonderful idea. The terrace and furnished garden gives a lovely spot to relax. There is a cot and high chair for kids and provision to bring 2 pets.
Check-in between 4 7 PM and check-out between 9 10 AM.

Villefranche-du-Périgord is a well-known area for us. We are very pleased to see you here. The surroundings are beautiful, a lot of variety in the greenery. All the daily groceries are available in the village. In Fumel there are several big supermarchés including LeClerc.We have rented several gîtes from this owner several times. This house is our favorite, all the privacy you can wish in the middle of the forest without direct neighbors. You must keep calm and quiet.

On our arrival no cleaning done and for a long time! In addition, additional costs are claimed which are not foreseen: Pay for electricity: a fixed price of 60kw / h is provided but this does not allow to use the planned amenities: You must therefore pay while it does not appear anywhere before arriving on site. Also pay tourist taxes. No inventory is made if it is not the reading of the meter on a notebook. We had requested the rental of sheets but on our arrival this had not been taken into account. In addition, the departure must be made at 10 am maximum but no one came for the return of the keys. Really very disappointing! Strongly discouraged. We reported this to Belvilla but no feedback.

The house was difficult to find, I had not gotten directions and TomTom (new map) has roads that are not there (anymore). But if you are, then, a lovely house in a local style. Good beds and a large fireplace that helps well in cold weather, fantastic panoramic views of forests and meadows. But the rest! Hardly sounds of civilization, only nature. Location is the most remote I've ever rented through Octopus Travel, exactly what I was looking for ... Owners are friendly and helpful, even if you do not speak French.

Very friendly and helpful owners at reception and departure. Despite my very poor knowledge of the French language, it was certainly worthwhile to explain everything well. The house is particularly free and is pleasant. Great interior and a beautiful panoramic view. In colder weather, the fireplace (which is still happy in France!) Offers cozy warmth.

Good arrival, friendly owner. Very quiet area, a little too quiet for us. House is far in a forest. Ideal if you like a quiet holiday. Small villages in the neighborhood but nothing to do in the evening. For a terrace in the evening or a large department store you have to drive 30 to 45 minutes. Nice swimming lake in Cazals.
