Great accommodation in a great location. Well decorated - great service.

The view is incredible. We had a lovely, cozy weekend.
The trip to Hallenberg is worth it just because of the Hallenberg country beer ;)

Very cozy apartment with a great view of the valley. The landlords were very nice and accommodating. Equipment was also good and everything was very clean. Only the 59 steps from the parking lot to the house take some getting used to for people from the flat country.

We had a wonderful two week holiday with 11 people and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We were very warmly welcomed by the Köster family.The house was clean and fully equipped. The towels were replenished in between. The supermarket is around the corner and is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Nature is great, we walked a lot.

We rented the house for 12 people. Every family had their own bedroom, which was really pleasant. The house is really cozy, everything is there what you need and also very clean. We were greeted nicely. Everything was clean and tidy only the beds creaked terrible. Every time you turned around you make woke up.

Despite the disappointing weather had a wonderful time at this great house. Incredibly welcoming reception and when we had a day earlier home due to unforeseen circumstances which did not cause any problem. Only minus is due to the fact that if you are with a larger group (we were 8 and went), the common room to eat together \/ play games, is very tight. But that does not detract from the excellent decor, clean, good beds and very friendly welcome.

We drove over some industrial area and according to the tom tom we had to almost be a turn up and when we were down a staircase took us to the door that was opened by a very friendly owner who is much talked about the environment and gave us a tour sleeping ample living room may be a bit bigger but all in all it was great !!!!

The reception was very friendly, the owner is very helpful and speaks very clearly German. Area is very nice, just in the immediate area has some buildings and a factory, but beyond and behind the house are very beautiful natural areas for hiking. Supermarket within walking distance. The other amenities are close by in the village present. The house itself is nicely decorated, but clearly more suitable for two families who are little together. We were with a group of 10 people, and it's tight to sit together. However many amenities such as two ovens, two dishwashers, microwave ovens etc. The covered terrace is very nice with good sun loungers. There is only little privacy. Sometimes random people walked over to walk down from the road above the cottage. All in all a successful holiday. Just keep in mind that it is actually too small for 12 people.

We knew we had to climb stairs, so 60 steps were no verrassing.De owners were very helpful and vriendelijk.De beds were finely made and there were plenty of signs aanwezig.Zodat the dishwasher could worden.Alleen used for drinking red wine were the glasses actually too small. Nice house owners. Neat and cozy stay. We were down to ten. Two families with two children aged 12 and 14 years and grandparents. Above and below 6 persons 4 persons. Hius is really for two families but all common areas are really made for one family, so come as you are on vacation all together. No nice yard for the kids and even for dogs. Entrance (you drive through an industrial area it) is downright uncomfortable. From the house you can walk fine but you do not have a nice view and gene atmospheric environment outside the home. This house is divided into 2 apartments. We have the family (8 people) used both apartments. That is fine to do. The garden is beautiful and the house is well appointed and everything was very schoon.Vriendelijke owner. We have visited this house with twelve men, and even though the house is convenient for two six people, yet we were well out of the feet. We are 12 people last weekend and it was a well-kept house with all the comforts that we have at home. Mr. Koster was very friendly. The house is situated at a distance of Winterberg, in weather conditions such as snow and ice driving you nevertheless soon half an hour op.De beds are wonderful.

We are not satisfied. The apartment was fine, but the owner was very directive.
She had sent us a card by email a day earlier with information on how we could drive better because a lot of snow had fallen.
When we got there we couldn't find it, so we called her. The owner said in a bossy manner that she had sent it anyway. Then we just had to look at the map!
Finally we found it.
We had to park along the road. No problem, but in the same bossy way she shouted from above that we had to continue driving to the parking spaces.
Then up three floors of steep stairs on the outside. We arrived out of breath. We were then told the house rules in detail. Don't use the heating too much, don't open windows.
Always close all doors in the house behind you! She got angry when we said that we are 6 adults and 1 child. She insisted that we would come with 6 adults and 2 dogs. Even when we showed Belvilla's confirmation, she was still not convinced. Angrily, she went to make a bed for the little one, saying that we had to put a tarp under it because the little one might wet the bed. The way she said everything was not friendly and welcoming.

Climbing all those stairs with your luggage and groceries is really tough.
The white lamps make the atmosphere in the living room resemble a canteen.
The apartment was clean. A bit old, but no defects.
The beds were made and there were plenty of bath towels.
On the second evening we received two text messages that we had one window in the bedroom in the tilt position. It had to close! It would be minus 10 that night, she wrote. The lights had to be turned off too!
With foggy windows, we went to sleep with all windows closed.
The many steep stairs you have to walk here and the way this woman communicates with her guests means that we will definitely not come here anymore.
