Very pleasant on fear by Thomas. Beautiful accommodation in the basement with very thoughtful two bottles of drinks and fruit. The car was behind a gate. Later I met Bianka, also very friendly. Had been on the Moselle in the winter, but how beautiful it is in the summer, Eifel and Hünsrück, we sometimes thought we were in Tuscany. Had a wonderful holiday

Upon arrival at the cottage we were received very friendly. We were given a tour of the cottage and had a nice chat with the owner (who lives above the house). The cottage is very clean and fully equipped. There was fruit and bottles of water ready for us on arrival and there were even fleece blankets ready on the couch. Outside there is a private terrace with 2 sun loungers. The environment is very beautiful. We ourselves have been to Cochem a lot. All in all, we had a wonderful holiday!

A nice welcome gift in the form of some fruit. 2 bottles of water and a bunch of roses. Bakery within 10 minutes walk. And lidl and norma at 10 minutes drive. Fine base for day trips. But also staying home for a day is not bad. I would like to go back again. Only downside a bed which was pretty hard. What partly due to physical health complaints in the end make for a very bad night's sleep. But that is the only downside

Checking in was easy. Thomas the owner gave us a quick tour and also gave us some useful tips for restaurants in the area. Rental was clean and well equipped. The area is truly beautiful from the village you can walk into the hills with forests and fields. Within 5 minutes you imagine yourself completely in nature. In addition, about fifteen minutes drive from Cochem where there is also plenty to do.

Cozy and clean house. With corona ideal that you can cook yourself and have a fridge with freezer compartment. The owners who live above were very helpful when we needed help. You do have your own entrance, which is very nice. You could sit in the garden with a lounger or regular chair. Car can also be shielded there, so you do not have to stay on the street. The Moselle and lots of beautiful nature are nearby. (Klidinger wasserfall, maria waterfall, volcanic lakes, elf cave is very small, but if you walk through also very beautiful nature, many fortresses and castles, roman graves etc) the gaylaier hängbrucke was unfortunately a one way ticket because of corona, that went me anyway too far to walk 4 km back. That is not like with us, but climbing and descending. And then also difficult to reach because of the floods. In Faid you are dry anyway, even if the Moselle floods ;) Tip, bring some DVDs if you like to watch TV but can't speak German very well. With German TV everything is German, they synchronize everything over, so even Tom Hanks spoke German during our stay haha. They do have some DVDs, but that should just be your taste and it is in German or English.

We were with Thomas and Bianca during the Easter holidays. Next to a bunch of fresh tulips and a filled fruit bowl, a chocolate Easter bunny and layers of colored Easter eggs were waiting for us. So a warm welcome. The apartment was over 60 square meters in size and equipped with all conveniences. Moreover, everything was spic and span. Great for each other! The Moselle offers more than enough hiking and cycling pleasure and of course an abundance of wine.

The house is well furnished, everything was very clean. In connection with my disability there were a few difficult points, eg a low bed and stairs in front of the entrance.
