Description
This house for families/groups is located in Kalterherberg, which is only a 10-minute drive from the well-known, picturesque town of Monschau and the Butgenbach reservoir. The house has been completely renovated and tastefully furnished
The house is a nice house for families and groups who want to enjoy nature. We have neighbours so it is not suitable for loud parties.
Downstairs it has a cosy, very large living-dining room, with space for everyone.
Sleeping is wonderful in the good box Springs. Our house has 10 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms.
Behind the house is a large garden, with a terrace, barbecue and pizza oven.
Various playground equipment, including trampolines, swings, sandpit and a barn where you can play table tennis.
On the meadow and stable with paddock live our 2 Welsh ponies.
This meadow borders on hiking, mountain bike and bicycle routes
Kalterherberg is situated at the Belgian border and in the middle of the nature area of the High Fens, which belongs to the Eifel. Both Malmedy and Aachen are nice destinations for a day trip. Here you can discover both a part of Belgium and a part of Germany.

Eifel National Park In the Eifel National Park you can experience fascinating nature with all your senses. The large protected area is characterised by near-natural deciduous forests, species-rich meadows, impressive rocks and naturally flowing streams.
The various habitats in the Eifel National Park include forests, grassland, water bodies, rocks and heaths, broom bushes, moors and wet heaths. We have described these habitats for you and typical plants and animals that grow and live in them. Our region offers such a wealth of attractions that one holiday is certainly not enough. It is difficult for anyone to choose where to go on the next excursion, given the abundance of attractions.
From picturesque places like Heimbach, Hellenthal, Blankenheim, Roetgen, Simmerath and of course Monschau to fantastic natural landscapes, there are countless destinations for hikes, day trips or holiday weeks. A wide variety of landscapes have developed in the Eifel in the course of the earth's history. From the flat Zülpicher Börde to the Eifel mountain ranges around Blankenheim and along the state border between North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, the endless variety of the Eifel's natural landscape becomes visible
Extensive woodlands around Bad Münstereifel are just as inviting for hiking as the area around the Rur valley dam near Schwammenauel and the Hohe Venn as a moorland landscape on the Belgian border.

Dear interested parties, We are pleased that you are interested in our country house. We are Jos and Yvonne and are Dutch. We have been living here in the beautiful Eifel for 5 years with our 3 Welsh-Araber ponies and cat Mickey and enjoy it every day. Our children and in the meantime also a grandchild live in Holland, but often come to visit. At the moment we are building a beautiful energy-efficient wooden house and hope to move in this year (2016). Until then we will live in our own flat in the country house. After that there will be the possibility to rent our flat. with kind regards Jos and Yvonne
