The house is in a basket, just behind the main road .. it is a beautiful solid and solid house with all the trimmings.Patio with BBQ is spacious and private. Fine restaurant within walking distance. Postiljon. Penny small piece with car. Trier is highly recommended and 30 minutes away by car. The two ruins in manderscheid very special. Definitely worth the walk.

The Gerber House Manderscheid is our family (five adults and a small child) really liked. At first glance the location of the house (behind another house and a road with parking place) is not particularly attractive, but it was very quiet with a nice big garden where it's good to live for children and adults. The house is also situated very convenient. You're so in the village and in the area.The is an excellent base for many walks or car rides through the beautiful woods and volcanic landscape Manderscheid omringt.Er in Manderscheid many restaurants where you can eat well for Dutch standards very little money. The local supermarket is a lot cheaper than we used point.The house itself is spacious and clean and equipped in the Netherlands. We felt totally at home. This is partly due to the very nice owner / hostess. Our holiday week was way too fast!

Gerberhaus is a very fine house in the center of the village of Manderscheid. So you reach various faciliteiten.De owners are very friendly and helpful and also gave tips for trips. We have worked with 3 teenage sons enjoyed. The week was too short so maybe a reason for terugkeer.Fam. Sterkenburg

We like our house in Manderscheid! It is spacious enough to stay with 6 adults (or in our case 4 adults and 2 children)! The house is clean, nicely situated and there are quite a few toys for the kids (read steps / go-kart / table tennis / swings, etc.). There is also a rabbit and a couple of chickens that you can look around...and the rabbit Leo likes to be petted. The owners of the holiday home are very friendly and happy to accommodate. The location of the cottage is centrally located in the Vulkaneifel .... from the village of Manderscheid you are at most locations within half an hour to max an hour. The village of Manderscheid itself is also nice to explore, for example there is a very beautiful castle a stone's throw away .... and a few nice restaurants. All in all worth to visit and book!!

What a fantastic house! Three floors, so a lot of space. Quiet location with a garden where our kids could enjoy themselves (trampoline, swing, soccer field, ping pong table). Only 'disadvantage': if you want to eat outside you have to 'drag' your stuff because the kitchen is on the first floor. But this is the only 'disadvantage'. The owners are very nice. Ideal base for fun trips. The Gemündener Maar is highly recommended. Here you can swim fantastically and rent pedal bikes with a slide on it. Our boys loved it! The nice cities such as Daun, Gerolstein, Cochem and Trier are also about half an hour away. The Penny (supermarket) is a 2-minute drive away, so every morning delicious fresh sandwiches :-). We really liked this house and we recommend it for 200%. If we go back to the Vulkaneifel again, we would like to spend our holiday here again.

The owner is indeed the forester and can tell you a lot about the area. Ours is even offered us somewhere to "drop" to be back to walk home (not done, but that's the next time). Otherwise, of course you just walk in circles. There is a lot of opportunity to play in and around the house. Our children want to be back. The Eifel is in beautiful surroundings. We recommend your bike. The local bus ride even with special supporters around the possibility to transport their bicycle passengers. Really a super clean and practical home. And for the youth ............. there is WIFI.

Nice clean house, living room on the first floor. The house has its own garden, but also a shared garden with a large trampoline and ping pong table, etc. Manderscheid is very beautiful and from the town you can already do special walks. It is not very touristy, but it is great that there are supermarkets and some restaurants. Despite the colder weather with sometimes a shower, we all really enjoyed the beautiful surroundings

It was a very nice holiday. There are certainly plenty of things in the garden equipped for children, the owners are very friendly. We have with them on a fire and sat with marshmellows bread dough, this was a very nice experience.

For a family with children a wonderful house. Quiet area, not on a busy road but in the back of the owners. The house is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen has everything to cook, but nearby you can go out for dinner if you want. The garden is lovely. There is a possibility to bbq "and. There grow various fruits to enjoy, such as blackberries, mulberries, gooseberries, nuts, raspberries, etc. These children the chickens, sheep or rabbit run or ride the donkey. Also the garden play equipment. It is of course fun for the kids to get acquainted with the children of the owners. When the weather is warm, you can close go swimming in one of the volcanic lakes. Unfortunately we had almost all the week of rain, but we have a good time. In Manderscheid are 2 castles to visit. In Daun you by car through a wildlife drive and watch the animals. In Daun is also fun shopping. We also have a beautiful abbey visited . And of course there is still more to do.

The accommodation is excellent and well equipped. The owners live on the same property and are very friendly. The Eifel is also great outside of the season. Manderscheid has two castles from the Middle Ages. You are walking within minutes in the beautiful nature where you can walk on various routes.
