Day trips can be enjoyed to the butterfly park Klütz at 4 km, the Castle Bothmer Klütz at 3 km, and the Baltic Sea Boltenhagen at 6 km. Wismar at 20 km and Lübeck at 30 km are also worth a visit. You can reach the supermarket and the town center at 4 km in case you need to purchase anything._x000D_

The holiday home was quite nice and met our needs well. It was big enough for our small group, and the kitchen was well equipped. We appreciated the quiet location, which allowed for relaxing evenings in the garden. Although it wasn't far to the beach, we mainly enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. Overall, a practical choice for a short vacation without frills.

The house (semi-detached house) was very well equipped and very clean. At around 60 m², it was a good size. The bathroom was also, unlike in some cases, quite large. The building is very quiet at the end of a cul-de-sac. It has a large, covered terrace. A barrel sauna is also available. So there is nothing wrong with the building. For people who cannot do without being online all the time, there are two disadvantages, firstly there is unfortunately no WiFi (yet) and secondly, the cell phone reception is terribly bad, at least for O2 and Vodafone devices. As can be seen from advertising posters, Damshagen is supposed to be equipped with fiber optic technology. It may then also work with a better reception. For dog owners there is a clear advantage due to the location of the property. There are enough opportunities for walking tours. It is about 8 kilometers to the Baltic Sea beach. The holiday home is therefore primarily suitable for motorized guests. Basically we were very satisfied with the accommodation.
