Description
The flat is approx. 70 sqm and can accommodate 4 people: families with children, couples with dogs or guests who are no longer "good on their feet". It is senior-/ disabled-friendly: only one step in the entrance with ramp for the rollator or wheelchair. The living room is furnished with a seating area, dining area and children's high chair. In the "master bedroom" you can get a cot, in the 2nd bedroom a motor-driven senior / nursing bed can be provided on request. In the kitchen with dining area you will find everything you need to prepare your meals. From here you also have access to the garden. The bathroom has a barrier-free shower with grab bars and shower chair, a WC and a washing machine. In addition, there is a guest WC. The flat has a small garden with terrace and an infrared sauna. WLan connection is available. You can use the house's own bicycles, child seat, bicycle trailer and trolley free of charge.

Location and surroundings of object
The house is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with a turning ramp at the transformer station. Short distances to shopping (bakery, groceries, fashion market, souvenirs), post office, restaurants, cafés, ice cream parlours, etc. On foot or by bike you can reach the dyke, the green, sandy, dog beach, kite meadow and the marina, ideal as a starting point for cycling tours and walking, for excursions in the surrounding area or to the islands. Suggestions for excursions and leisure activities can be found in the flat. Norddeich belongs to Norden, the oldest town in East Frisia and is located directly on the North Sea. Norddeich has been a health spa since 2010 and offers everything needed for wellness and health. Ferries depart from Norddeich harbour to Norderney and Juist, and day trips are possible. Well-known attractions in Norddeich are the seal breeding station, the "Whaloseum", the seawater wave pool "Ocean Wave", the Wellemnpark Unforgettable are mudflat walks, after all the Wadden Sea is a "World Natural Heritage Site". Excursions to Norden (Ludgeri Church, Tea Museum, shopping mile), Lütetsburg Castle, Greetsiel, Emden, etc. are also possible.

Dreamy days at the sea with doggie
We were with our Chihuahua female dog Princesse in September for 5 days at Strandläufer Knutt Parterre. It was one of our most beautiful vacations we have ever had.
Strandläufer Knutt Parterre is a dream. Very cozy and invitingly furnished, plenty of space to relax. You get to know the country and its people in an interesting way.
The kitchen setup left nothing to be desired. The bedroom was really big and spacious. From the apartment to the sea was a 10-minute walk. We approach the dog beach from the other side. Then it was just a few more minutes to the dog beach.
Simply great. Next year we will come back and enjoy our vacation in Norddeich at Strandläufer Knutt with our dog. We can hardly wait to be guests of the Gehrmann family again.

Great vacation with dog and wheelchair?
My parents, my dog, and I spent a great week in this apartment. Unfortunately, my father's mobility was even more limited after we had booked the vacation until the start of our trip. It was no problem to add a care bed and on-site it was also no problem to get a small ramp so that he could overcome the small step at the apartment entrance with the walker or wheelchair. He found this to be a great relief. Thank you very much for that! The apartment is well-equipped and spacious enough to move around with a walker. Only the way to the dog beach was a bit too far for the dog... but he took it upon himself to make use of it ?. If the opportunity arises, we would love to come back...

This year we wanted to go to the North Sea with our dog again. Since we had been in Norddeich before, we were drawn back there. We came across Strandläufer on Facebook. The response to our inquiry was very quick, kind, and nice, and we confirmed quickly as well. Unfortunately, the landlords were not there upon arrival. But what we found was really great. The apartment was in top condition. My husband and I, along with our dog, felt very comfortable. What is not visible in the pictures, is the set-up of the living room. There is a large bookshelf filled with numerous books. There are also toys. Even thoughtful details like an oil burner were present. We will, and have already booked, go there again next year.
