You sit there a few miles from Lake Butgenbach where you can make around the lake. A nice walk Other walks in the woods, or between peatlands, are not so far away. Within walking distance you will find a bakery and a small convenience store. Supermarkets can be found in Butgenbach. We were very pleased with our stay.

It is a nice accommodation in beautiful surroundings. You can enjoy cycling (Vennbahn - from Luxembourg to Aachen in Germany) and walking (Hooge Veenen). The house has plenty of space. It is a bit dated but everything works properly. Friendly people.

We were received by the enthusiastic owners. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. We were allowed to use the garden and the balcony. With the wonderful weather we had this was super nice. The area was beautiful, although we went several times further into the Ardennes / Germany where we found it even more beautiful.

Dark apartment with very bad wifi (unusable). The picture of the house is misleading it is the owner's property. The apartment is only the attic under the roof (on the left side you see a staircase in the shade leading to the apartment). The small skylight that you just see is the only daylight in the kitchen kitchen. Even when the sun shines out, it must be in the light to read. The small living room is also dark. Even the whole day should light the light, even when the sun shines outside. The wifi signal is only in the kitchen, but so weak it's unusable. Furthermore, everything is available, such as dishwasher, microwave, kitchenware, TV etc. But we are not going back anymore. The surroundings are beautiful. Delightfully walked in "High Fens".

Tasty bonbons on arrival! Mmmm. Very clean house with enough space, very complete inventory, good wifi, very good heating, nice hostess and hostess, quiet location with beautiful surroundings, nice shower and excellent waste separation. We only missed a dustpan & can and the lighting in the living room was a bit bright. In short: an excellent stay !!! PS: indeed this is the top floor of the house, do not expect a spacious eight-room villa.

Highly recommended for a couple alone or a family with children from approx 6-7 years because of the side entrance to the stairs omhaag going. Very nice environment.

Despite the rainy weather we have beautiful walks along the lake of Butgenbach and Hoegne at Hockay. We are also in Cologne and Monschau been 2 places that are worthwhile and well to do from Nidrum.

Are very kindly received was a very tidy chalet. The environment was very nice, we went for a walk one time and explore a beautiful area. The oven does not work very well, was very slow and hot kisses agree to be replaced, you might as well just sleep on the mattress, the rest really a super chalet. The garden is also very nice and pleasant probably in the summer (it rained on us). There were already board games provided, as well as DVD 's, kitchen and living room were very cozy and the master bedroom very spacious.

Accommodation was fairly large, lots of flies and grasshoppers, on main road where ridden hard, stairs very dangerous no fence for young children, worries (beach) very nice, indoor pool not suitable for small children for that you have to Eupen (subtropical of Lago ). Very little to do for small children, nice neighborhood supermarket, Bütgenbach has the Aldi and Market. Malmedy many shops and large center. Wifi is very poor 0,3mb / s

We were very kindly received by the owner Anita Schell. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. On arrival the house was nice and heated. Beautiful area for walking. A very nice and good restaurant / cafe with friendly service within walking distance.The apartment (entire top floor of the house) is very spacious for two people.

The property is located in a very beautiful village and in a beautiful area. Lake Buttgenbach is 3 km. and offers a lot of possibilities. The rooms are simple but solid and the owners are friendly.

We have received very welcoming with a bottle of wine, chocolates and cozy decor. The room was very clean, well equipped. We were quite late by the file, but received equally friendly. Additional information on accommodation or environment friendly and extensively laid out. Our visit was aimed at the Christmas market with a family with two children aged 10 and 11 We recommend this stay with a thick 8.5 and occasionally come back for sure.

Excellent accommodation. Nice clean, spacious. Nice welcome gift. Beautiful surroundings. Excellent hiking and mountain biking opportunities. Malmedy, Spa, Monschau to Pima distance to visit. Just a pity the high energy costs.

What a warm welcome. Everything was super clean and tidy. We have never experienced that there was so much covered in terms of kitchen tools. We have really had a great holiday week.

The house in Nidrum was ideal to relax and a good base for excursions in the neighborhood such as Malmedy. We were also close to Germany which was good for a trip to the beautiful white town of Monschau.

Good and friendly received. House looked nice and cared for with everything on it. The only downside we found was the bed, unfortunately we had a lot of problems with our backs and slept badly all week. Environment was also very nice, not bothered by the neighbors.

Dark apartment with very bad wifi (unusable). The picture of the house is misleading it is the owner's property. The apartment is only the attic under the roof (on the left side you see a staircase in the shade leading to the apartment). The small skylight that you just see is the only daylight in the kitchen kitchen. Even when the sun shines out, it must be in the light to read. The small living room is also dark. Even the whole day should light the light, even when the sun shines outside. The wifi signal is only in the kitchen, but so weak it's unusable. Furthermore, everything is available, such as dishwasher, microwave, kitchenware, TV etc. But we are not going back anymore. The surroundings are beautiful. Delightfully walked in "High Fens".

Our holiday in Nidrum in the Ardennes, close to the Hautes Fagnes was wonderfully relaxing. We have walked a lot in nature and many cities, towns and villages affected. Really chilled people there, mostly Duitstalig.Een must for those who rest, walks and history are important.

Immaculate spacious apartment. Super good location for great hikes. Close to the High Fens. We were lucky that we had snow and therefore the winter holiday feeling was completely there. Dear owners!

Tasty bonbons on arrival! Mmmm. Very clean house with enough space, very complete inventory, good wifi, very good heating, nice hostess and hostess, quiet location with beautiful surroundings, nice shower and excellent waste separation. We only missed a dustpan & can and the lighting in the living room was a bit bright. In short: an excellent stay !!! PS: indeed this is the top floor of the house, do not expect a spacious eight-room villa.

We rented a holiday home with the Schell family in Nidrum. The cottage was beautifully clean and it was really a beautiful setting! Upon arrival, a bottle of wine and delicious Belgian bonbons were ready, which were very welcome. The area was very hilly and in the car were arranged by us and the children: Ooohh "s and look there ... to hear! Definitely worth repeating !!! Family Schell, thank you so much !!! It is a nice accommodation in beautiful surroundings. You can enjoy cycling (Vennbahn - from Luxembourg to Aachen in Germany) and walking (Hooge Veenen). The house has plenty of space. It is a bit dated but everything works properly. Friendly people.

Fine spacious bovenwonig with everything on and on, beautiful large master bedroom. complete house with plenty of privacy, even though the owners live, so by their own side entrance that you just need a kick up. Super friendly hostess who also had put. A bottle of wine and some chocolate 's ready A bit dated but very clean. Highly recommended for a couple alone or a family with children from approx 6-7 years because of the side entrance to the stairs omhaag going. Very nice environment.

Despite the rainy weather we have beautiful walks along the lake of Butgenbach and Hoegne at Hockay. We are also in Cologne and Monschau been 2 places that are worthwhile and well to do from Nidrum.

Are very kindly received was a very tidy chalet. The environment was very nice, we went for a walk one time and explore a beautiful area. The oven does not work very well, was very slow and hot kisses agree to be replaced, you might as well just sleep on the mattress, the rest really a super chalet. The garden is also very nice and pleasant probably in the summer (it rained on us). There were already board games provided, as well as DVD 's, kitchen and living room were very cozy and the master bedroom very spacious.

We were received by the enthusiastic owners. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. We were allowed to use the garden and the balcony. With the wonderful weather we had this was super nice. The area was beautiful, although we went several times further into the Ardennes / Germany where we found it even more beautiful.

The house is equipped with everything you need for a weekend. The main room was very spacious and it was a beautiful house. What immediately noticed upon entering the cabin was very nicely polished! The cottage is near the lake of Butgenbach and there are lots geocashen in buurt.Wij have already enjoyed our weekend

The apartment is not so modern, yet equipped with every comfort, everything works fine, and it is very neat. The owners live on the ground floor, are very friendly and welcoming. You sit there a few miles from Lake Butgenbach where you can make around the lake. A nice walk Other walks in the woods, or between peatlands, are not so far away. Within walking distance you will find a bakery and a small convenience store. Supermarkets can be found in Butgenbach. We were very pleased with our stay.

The garden is beautifully kept with the peaceful sound of running water in the pond, and quiet countryside surrounding it. It was the perfect place to come back and relax on the balcony after a day out. It was also excellent value for money with everything we needed in the house for cooking. And the owner was very welcoming and friendly even though we can't speak French or German. I would recommend it if you like a quiet place from which you can explore the surrounding countryside.
