Description
The holiday flat is part of a lovingly restored Eifel farmhouse. It has a separate entrance. You can park your car right outside the front door. In the lovingly decorated living room you can make yourself comfortable on a comfortable seating area. Of course, there is also a TV set and a radio.
The spacious kitchen with adjoining dining area is equipped with all comforts.
The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, toilet and hand basin.
On the upper floor of the holiday flat there are two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds. An emergency bed is also available. If required, we are also happy to provide a cot. Dogs can be brought along by arrangement.

Location and surroundings of object
Only 1 km away is the lake of Bütgenbach, a paradise for anglers and water sports enthusiasts.
The neighbouring village of Bütgenbach/ Worriken has developed into one of the largest and most beautiful sports centres in Belgium. Here you can sail, windsurf, swim, row, kayak, rent pedal boats, play tennis, ride horses and much more.
The house is close to the Vennbahn & Ravel cycle paths!
A short distance away is the Hohes Venn nature reserve (Europe's largest raised bog). You should definitely plan a hike or even a guided excursion through this unique moor landscape.
The small village of Büllingen-Wirtzfeld lies on the edge of the High Fens - Eifel Nature Reserve. Directly from the house you can go on extensive hikes and bicycle tours through the surrounding fields and forests.
In snowy winters, you can go cross-country skiing on numerous groomed trails, go tobogganing or build a snowman in our large garden.

A winter delight!
Authentic, beautifully restored and well-maintained Eifel farmhouse. All comforts are there to satisfy the modern person. After a trip through the beautiful, snowy surroundings, we arrived home in a nice warm living room. Thank you for the friendly welcome. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful holiday
Dear Mrs Daniels, dear Mr Daniels, we were warmly welcomed by you and felt very comfortable with you, unfortunately for far too short a time.
The beautiful old house was so lovingly renovated and radiates a cosy comfort. The garden is no different, with its many trees, flowers and pond, all tastefully arranged. This alone is worth a holiday, but the surroundings must also be explored, because the landscape of the High Fens is unique and there are great cycling and hiking trails such as the Kyllradweg on old railway tracks

We love the peace and seclusion. Here you can simply switch off. With very nice people, in a lovingly designed holiday home. The surrounding area is ideal for long hikes or short walks.

Dream vacation
For us, it was a dream vacation, so we spontaneously booked again for the coming year.
The old farmhouse with its tasteful furnishings, comfortable beds, and almost complete kitchen equipment left nothing to be desired.
The quiet yet central location, the huge garden with several seating areas and its own pond, storage space for bicycles brought along, parking in the courtyard in front of the house was ideal.
The owners, who live next door, are extremely loving, courteous people. Our well-behaved dog was also welcome there.
They were always ready with tips, advice, and help.
The rural surroundings, the nearby reservoir, are perfect for extensive hikes. The nearest larger towns can be reached in a few minutes, and there you can find everything from the post office to the bakery, supermarket, and restaurants, etc.
The surrounding area also offers many historical and cultural attractions. Germany and Luxembourg are in close proximity and invite you to a day trip.
We look forward to meeting again.

Vakantie met hond
Deel van oude boerderij. Verhuurders zijn heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Eigen ingang. Parkeren op grondstuk. Zeer grote, omheinde tuin met zitje en vijver. Huis van alle gemakken voorzien. Veel goed aangegeven wandel-en fietsroutes. Ook via een app. Stuwmeer op loopafstand. Twee grotere plaatsen op 5 minuten met de auto voor inkopen. Heerlijke week gehad!

Beautiful old vacation home with relaxation factor

Leuke week gehad, lieve mensen die deze woning verhuren. Woning schoon en alles is aanwezig. Inrichting antiek en daar moet je van houden, verder geen enkel minpuntje..

Pure relaxation
We were only here for 6 days, but were able to switch off from the first moment. The house is lovingly furnished by the very accommodating and friendly owners, who live right next door. The proximity to Lake Bütgenbach is priceless, especially on warm days. From here, you can quickly reach the High Fens and many other tourist destinations. We will definitely come back!

Summer vacation
A very beautiful old farmhouse with tastefully decorated rooms. The bathroom with the brick wall has a very special flair. The garden can already be described as a park with many different seating areas and a large pond. The hosts are lovely people with always good mood and very helpful. We will gladly come back.

Beautiful short vacation.
Very nice holiday house, quiet and particularly romantically located landscape. A very beautiful spacious garden with many seats. One could call the garden a park. Warm hosts, a special kind of short holiday. It's a shame that the time went by so fast. You can only recommend the house to everyone.

Huis Daniels, EEN AANRADER
We hebben dit jaar (2019) voor de 11de keer onze vakantie in huis Daniels doorgebracht.
In deze mooi gerestaureerde woning met alle moderne comfort is het aangenaam verblijven.
Heel bijzonder is de grote tuin met grasplein, vijver en prachtige bomen.Daar kan je genieten van rust, vogelzang, zon en schaduw . Je kiest je eigen plekjes uit om heerlijk te ontspannen. Voor ons is het kunnen "buiten eten" een extraatje.
De Heer en Mevr. Daniels verwelkomen de vakantiegangers als GASTEN. Hun discrete, tactvolle, vriendelijke en uitermate behulpzame ingesteldheid verhoogt het onbezorgd vakantiegevoel.
Op wandelafstand van het verblijf kan je naar hartenlust wandelen en fietsen o.a. op de Ravelroute (een oude spoorwegbaan) en sporten rond en in het meer van Bütgenbach.
Een vakantie in huis Daniels is TOP, een echte aanrader!

Very nice holiday in a great environment.
The holiday home is an old, comfortable farmhouse with loving furnishings. Everything you need is available. The decor is decorated with many antiques and completed. The beds are comfortable and it is quiet and we slept very well. The landlords are very friendly people who have an open ear for all concerns. All in all, a successful holiday. Since the bedrooms are located upstairs, it is better not to have any trouble with climbing stairs.

Very beautiful house with a lot of character
A beautiful house, partially built in 1666, with its own water source in the basement. Fully equipped with everything you need. The house is located in a very nice part of Belgium, with many sights and nature, such as the beautiful lake nearby. Not to forget is, of course, the very large garden with many seating areas.
A very nice environment for hiking, cycling, and mountain biking.
