In Lierneux, 2.5 km away, you will find a supermarket where you can score a delicious breakfast in the morning. There is a restaurant at the same distance where you can have a hearty dinner, but you can also go for a walk in the beautiful surroundings.
The holiday home has a parking space for your car and a garden that is furnished with comfortable garden furniture where you can sit back and enjoy your well-deserved holiday. There is a covered terrace where you can relax and you can prepare different dishes in the fully equipped kitchen. A very nice house to stay in! We were warmly welcomed and received a good explanation from the owner to enjoy the house. Very clean. A cozy fireplace and kitchen diner added to the atmosphere.

Super nice house decorated with love. Super nice beds. Nice garden. Everything is there, even a washing machine. The garden is a good place to relax, beautiful garden furniture and well-maintained planting. Sometimes we also have a home day and we relax wonderfully. Good wifi and smart TV. There is also a fan in every room for heat. Fireplace with wood, bbq, gas bbq on request, good oven. Definitely recommended. Central location, there is a lot to do in the area.

Cottage and garden were ideal. Environment for hikers and mountain bikers pleasant.minpuntje: too little slides and glasses available. The dishes had to be washed after every meal (there is a dishwasher). A glass for a local beer is not an unnecessary luxury. In Verleumont there was not a single restaurant (last gel closed on May 20, 2022). There is 1 cafe, but a Carrefour Market and a Proxy Delhaize. Still available for repeat. A very friendly owner!

What a fantastic stay we had. Friendly welcome by the owner who explained everything clearly. Very complete and cozy house, very atmospheric. Especially the bedrooms and beds are TOP, slept wonderfully. Complete kitchen and nice fireplace and very large garden. Definitely recommended, we enjoyed it!

Nice reception by the host. Very nice house with everything you could wish for. Large garden with luxurious garden furniture and gas BBQ which we were allowed to use. Beds are fine as are the bedrooms. Living room is spacious with various cozy seating areas. Kitchen is fully equipped. Bathrooms are equipped with every luxury especially downstairs. We had a great midweek here and made various walks from here. In short, the five of us enjoyed our stay and is recommended for everyone.

The arrival was super. The owner was present and had lit all the candles and the wood burning stove was burning. What a nice welcome! The house is fantastic. Especially for a holiday in the winter, super atmospheric. The bedrooms are also beautifully decorated and the beds wonderful. The house is very complete, also in terms of kitchen appliances. Furthermore, it was incredibly clean! The area was very beautiful. The Christmas market in Durbuy was nice but not spectacular. Highly recommended: chocolate factory and chocolate itself of course (incl tour / museum) of Defroidmont in Erezee.

pleasant arrival, clear address, friendly welcome owner, wonderfully warm (wood stove with sufficient stock), November time 5 °, sufficient explanation (eg sorting), beautiful house with all the trimmings, very extensive equipment kitchen, rooms, toilets, basement, living room, comfortable beds, interior design to dream of, nothing is missing, even board games, radio, TV, tourist information, perfect wifi, sufficient parking, large garden (must be a paradise in the summer), one downside then nevertheless: lots of creaking sound floor above if someone is in the rooms, 100 m outside the house the walk (s) start in the forest, nice restaurant in village L "Atelier, a top tourist region and topper…. on departure no settlement (no guarantee) really everything is All-in (a rarity !!!!) DECISION: go and go back! So 10/10

The owner was present on arrival. He has explained everything sufficiently to us. We were six people and a baby. We greatly enjoyed the weekend in this house. The house, the garden and the interior met our wishes. Everything was well cared for and clean. We were able to use the gas bbq and sat outside on the terrace until late in the sun. Then ended the day with a drink by the wood stove. Overall a very successful weekend.

The house is nicely and comfortably laid out, bedrooms and bathrooms are in order. Nice garden with garden furniture. Downside is that you have to go through the front door to the garden, therefore less recommended for families with young children. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful walks done.

The reception by the owner went very smoothly and correctly. The house was very well arranged and offered more than enough comfort. The large garden was an ideal playground for the children. Be careful, the house and garden are at the front of a busy job. The house is well located for excursions, albeit with a car.

The house is beautifully decorated (incl. Easter decorations) with the Harry Potter room as the highlight for the boys! The girls were also happy with the high beds, in which they felt like princesses. Upon arrival, we received a gift from the owners, who was very much in love! The central location is ideal for all kinds of excursions. We could easily fill our days, and really enjoyed the Ardennes week! If we have to mention a disadvantage, then the wooden floors are upstairs, so you can hear everything. And for us that was also the access to the garden, which runs through the street side, but by the summer of 2019 that problem was remedied, because a staircase at the back is already being made.

You can not wish much better. A beautiful house decorated with love. Lovely beds and everything in house to pots and pans and appliances to prepare a meal. Make beautiful walks from the house. And nice owners who respond quickly to questions. And very nice, just table football every night.

It was a cozy and comfortable accommodation. Minuses, but that was already known, the sound. It might be an idea to put some runners or mats down in the hallway. Then the sound is muted. On the bathroom upstairs it smelled dirty. That has remained the whole week, even though we have a lot of air.

We are well received by the owners who have explained to us one and another about the use of the huis.De environment is beautiful and the view from the living room is super The house is on a hillside. The house is very well and completely equipped. There is plenty of everything in the kitchen. cleaning products, herbs, self coffee.Wifi present. Nice beds though 1 of 1.60 and the rest narrower. The cracking of the floor has already been described in previous reviews. We were with a group and it was beautiful weather. We have used the bbq downstairs and the sun deck. delicious. The owner is planning to build a staircase at the back of the house giving access to the garden. We did not find any problems around. You do need a car to view the area. Walking from the house is also beautiful and good to do.

A very pleasant stay with our family with nice trips in the area. It is a beautiful, fully furnished house where the love of the owners is tangible. Nice surprise was that the owner spoke reasonable English, which is not mentioned on the site. The only downside could be mentioned that the garden / terrace is only accessible via the front door.

We made use of this holiday home in July 2018 for 2 weeks. We have our family - two adults and three children - to our liking for various reasons.The house is in a beautiful area (as you expect from the Ardennes). Nice places like Vielsalm, Hannes sur Lesse and La Roche are pretty close. From the living room you have a nice view of the meadows and surrounding hills. The house has excellent rooms and bathrooms. And everything was neat, clean and decorated with attention. On half of our holiday the bedding was changed cleanly. We have had limited contact with the owners. They also showed us that the house was "ours" for 2 weeks and that they granted us our privacy. In the contacts we had, they were very polite, friendly and helpful. We found it very nice that the house has many amenities. Two refrigerators in the kitchen and even an extra in the basement. Plenty of pans, crockery, toaster and the like, so we could cook well and could eat fine together.Verder the house has a very large backyard. There we could play football to your heart's content, play badminton and relax. The backyard also has a spacious terrace with lots of garden furniture and covered area with barbecue where we have eaten several times with our family. The house has a few small "minuses". You can only reach the backyard by leaving the house at the front. That means that you do not easily walk into the backyard. We have not let us stop too much to use the backyard. Moreover, the house (as we had already made out of descriptions of previous tenants) is noisy. You can hear the sound of another floor and the floors on the bedroom floor crack. We have not had too many problems with this. Oh, almost forgot. For our children it was a pleasant surprise that we could use

Beautiful spacious house, beautifully situated in the hamlet of Verleumont, near Lierneux.
House is tastefully decorated and has different colors and themes for various rooms. Neat fresh bathroom and separate toilet downstairs, upstairs a combined bathroom-toilet. From the room and kitchen you have a beautiful view far away on the Ardennes hills, a beautiful picture .
The enormous garden with hammock, gazebo, lovely outdoor chairs and BBQ is beautiful and offers sufficient privacy.
Unfortunately we had many cold rainy days and we were not able to sit outside much, fortunately there is a beautiful professional football table, which was used a lot by both the children and the parents, in a competitive manner.
House is delivered neatly clean by the managers. Beds are neatly made, everything very fresh.
In addition to French, the manager also speaks good English, which made the conversation a little easier for us, especially when it comes to separating waste, which is strict in the municipality of Lierneux.
Despite the somewhat bad weather, we enjoyed the house and the beautiful surroundings!

We were here with 8 adults for 1 week in april 2023. There was plenty of room for all of us and the house has been decorated with love. The back of the house has a very nice wide view of the country. The front of the house borders a road that is not very busy. Good beds. Wood stove (at very reasonable fee) and central heating 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, filter coffee machine, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, toaster, hand blender etc. Washing machine, ironing board, cleaning equipment. Very big garden with garden furniture and also a covered terrace. There is a big BBQ and a gas-BBQ (fee). The hosts are friendly and with help of Google translate very helpful with information. There is also a flyer with helpful local information (shops etc.)
