Les Poiriers is a magnificent house for a large family, a well-equipped kitchen, the rooms are fine and especially there is a blessed garden. The owners were not present when we arrived but we were welcomed by Claude. Afterwards we have also met with the owners who are very friendly. The surroundings are beautiful and offer many possibilities of nice walks and interesting towns in the vicinity.

Geweldig huis voor grote groep. Keuken zeer compleet! Alles is ook echt ingericht voor 20 personen. Sanitair is prima. Enige waar nog iets in geïnvesteerd kan worden, is de bedden en kussens. De meeste bedden waren prima. Een paar matrassen hadden een kuil of juist een bobbel. We hebben een heerlijk fietsweekend gehad. De eigenaar denkt met je mee, is flexibel en klinkt via de mail erg aardig.

Very good communication before arrival with the very accommodating landlord. Smooth key transfer and home entry. The former manor house has a distinctive charm and shows natural traces of use. The large kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the dining and living room asks for 18 people, and a friendly is nothing to prevent. Sleeping and sanitary rooms as described and i.O. The house is located directly on the thoroughfare, but around the house generously plenty of space, also for playing for the children. We were to the family meeting with three generations (15 adults, 3 children) in the house and felt very comfortable. In the vicinity of about 20 km there are many possibilities for visiting the city or for hiking.

There was only one frying pan present. On departure reported to owner and this one said anything one came too close to them could come and get to the property. Then of course it was too late but otherwise perfect and friendly owners. Mvg. Dirk Declercq

A family reunion in the Belgian Ardennes. Nice old house. Excellent location for children. There is a trampoline, a playground; many animals (young goslings, horses, cattle two dogs and chickens) and a lovely off (large) lawn where you can play football, idled etc etc ..

Perfect house for large families. Everything was there, heating was on on arrival in december. Quiet area and beautiful walks. Friendly owners and available if a problem. Highly recommended for a holiday with two or three families, enough sleeping places and showers.

A lovely house with spacious bedrooms and a large garden! Even for the little ones there was plenty to do in and around the house. When the dishwasher was broken, there was an immediate response and when we came home, the machine was repaired. There is room for improvement in the maintenance of the bedrooms with showers. But we had a great weekend with our children and grandchildren!

Spacious house with a very large garden. It is located along a major road, but luckily day did not disturb too much. We have been to Plage Maboge and Ferme de la planche (<30 min drive), recommended with young children.

Very cozy house! We were 5 couples and three young children/babies. Nice kitchen, nice sitting area and dining tables. 4 large bedrooms have private shower cubicles in the room which are fine. The communal toilet/shower room downstairs is a bit primitive. Outdoor space is lovely.

We had a fantastic week in the Ardennes in Thomas's cottage! Our children have been able to enjoy themselves all week in the beautiful garden and with the toys that were already available there. We as adults also enjoyed the covered terrace and the garden. Also handy was the washing machine / dryer to get our hiking clothes clean and dry after a rain trip. In summary: highly recommended for a group of adults with small/small children.

We are now for the 2nd year and still enthusiastic about this house. An authentic house with a beautiful appearance but equipped with all necessities. Looks clean with nice covered terrace in bad weather.

We contacted the friendly owner by mail. Corona gave us a code for the key to enter the house. It is a very nice house with a kitchen with more than enough kitchen utensils. In each bedroom there is a sink and the rooms on the first floor have a shower. For the children there is a nice place on the second floor with lots of toys. There is also a large garden with a covered terrace with BBQ and a fire pit. For the children there is a trampoline, swings and slide. Very pleasant all. We went to park Chlorophyl and plage Maboge en le lac des Doyards

Beautiful surroundings and a beautiful house! Here and there it could use a freshening up or better finish and the sound insulation could be better, but we only minimally bothered about that. The garden is great for playing and playing around.

The caretaker speaks only French, is very friendly. Handover worked fine. The 200 year old house is well kept in order, unfortunately, all beach chairs were broken. Ideal for families with children or pets. Any time

The accommodation is great for a large group. On the first floor the rooms all have a shower and a sink. At the top the rooms have only a sink in the room. The house is getting old, but for 2 nights adequate.

The eignaar was absent. The woman who received us spoke only French, but informed us as well as possible with hands and feet. She also showed us the 2 rooms where the fly pest was. They fell dead by the anti-fly stickers on the windows on the spot. Furthermore, it was an ideal house for our group of 18 people, age 4 children ranging between 2 and 12. Trampoline was very popular. Further age between 17 and 77 years. The garden was ideal. Beautiful pond. Thanks to the great weather we were able to enjoy a delicious BBQ. Nice big bbq. Enough seats in the house. The kitchen is also fine .. 2 fridges and freezer ideal.We have done the bare footpath as a trip with all zn. Ferme de la Planche. Beautiful weather. The day after Puzzle Planet, recommended with such a large group. Maze nice. Certainly with a large group possibility of competition element. Also the go-karts there with which you can ride a trail off the ski slopes were greatly appreciated by the men and young people. Remark Fine as many shower facilities but less water pressure with simultaneous use. But for us this was a perfect home for an unforgettable Easter.

Upon arrival we kindly received and explained everything about the house. We stayed in a wonderfully beautiful authentic Ardennes house. They were still busy renovating some stucco and other things, but we were not bothered by that. Beautiful bedrooms with lots of shower and washing facilities. With a number of small families with small children this is very practical. The garden is very practical, children can play nice on the speeltoestellen.In the area there is plenty to do, nice walks and nice to cycle (a bit of climbing and descending !!) A very nice weekend!

Cozy at the kitchen table with zn allen breakfast or outside in the spacious garden barbecue! Everything is possible!
