This 7-bedroom farmhouse was built in 1830 and accommodates 15 people. Situated in the picturesque village of Jevigné, it has a heated swimming pool, sauna, and steam shower, which makes it perfect for a great relaxing vacation.
You can always go cycling and all kinds of outdoor activities, such as mountainbaiking, canoeing, abseiling and caving in all kinds of weather. You can play golf in Durbuy. In winter, when there is enough snow, you can go skiing or cross-country skiing on the slopes of Baraque Freiture or Wanne. Within a radius of 25 km you will find tourist resorts such as La Roche, Durbuy, Spa, Francorschamps, Malmedy and Stavelot with Plopsa among others find Coo and the country of Luxembourg, cheap petrol and tobacco.
The restored farmhouse was built in 1830 and is situated in the best kept secret of the Ardennes, the Lienne Valley, in the triangle between Baraque Fraiture, Vielsalm and Trois Pont in the picturesque village of Jevigné. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden of 800 m2 including 160 m2 of terrace with heated pool. The pool is totally private. A porch off the kitchen with a gas grill. In addition, there are two terraces, one with a charcoal grill. Garden furniture is plentiful. In addition to the ceramic hob, there is also a five-burner gas. There is also private parking at the premises.
The swimming pool is open all year round. In the cold months it is ideal as a cold plunge pool in combination with the wellness.

After a first night in Arbrefontaine we are with our whole 14-member family (8 adults and 6 children) for the second time came out for this holiday. What struck us was that the owners during the past year have put a lot of effort into realizing a wellness area which was much appreciated. Especially in winter, this may be an attractive, restful space. Furthermore, we had us, unlike last year, documented by topographic maps of the area. From the outside this house has responded to us immediately. The stone house, the big entrance door (pictured on the internet) have a lot was versprochen.Leider disappointment great when we saw the house from the inside. At first glance it was fine, but on closer inspection we realized that it was dirty in some places (in spite of expensive cleaning costs of € 150) and especially in need of renovation. Behind the door nicely displayed on the Internet hid a building site, which represented some dangers especially for the smaller children. So we first had to identify holes in the ground, so that no child could crash to the lower floor. If this house is completely finished renovation, it is certainly a jewel among the cottages. The house we stayed met our expectations. Especially the terrace was sublime! Too bad that was not to use the pool in October. In October, there may also still be sunny days. We are a long weekend with thirteen friends went to La Taupinière. The house is very cozy with a great porch / platforms We also had beautiful weather so we did not get seated inside. Each couple had their own room with good (not sagging) beds. Each room was equipped with a good shower and toilet. Some also had a bath.The pool provided the necessary verkoeling.Een gasbarbeque (for the lazy) and a coal bbq made us complete the party (along with large fridge-freezer ...) The area has plenty to do and something for everyone (caving, survival, beautiful walks, etc.). Supermarkets at 3km distance (Lierneux) For us it was just really liked it! Highly recommended.

The owners were very friendly, the house had a very attractive wellness area. During the summer the swimmingpool is a big succes and during winter time you can spend a good time in the wellness. Every bedroom had a private bathroom. We were lucky to have good weather and could use the barbecue and the outside diner area. You can make great walks in the surroundings. We'll go back again...

La Taupiniere worked fine for our needs for a nice weekend of it and so z 's to celebrate. All my birthday (65) We had excellent rooms all with en suite shower facilities. We could individually and jointly of pulling together and prepare nice meals in the separate kitchen which was well equipped with materials. The house has a lot of potential to be. formed after the necessary investments to a luxury resort we have been able to enjoy in this state during a long weekend.

Our family had a delightful time staying at La Taupiniere and using the house as our base camp. It is close to many attractions, including the train station in Liege, and is easy to access. The owners were delightful, met us upon arrival, were helpful with needs, and responded to any problems. The house had good space for our large family and was well appointed. We used the outdoor areas, the spa area, and had wonderful meals at the large kitchen table. it was clean and easy to use. Beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were large enough, especially the master bath.

The house has a cozy atmosphere. The bedrooms are spacious with all private shower which are very fine. "Morning, you can sit out on the patio next to the kitchen. There are several terraces so you can always sit somewhere in the sun, if there is one. The living room is very spacious with banks that are not very comfortable. The surroundings is beautiful for walking and cycling. In the village itself is not much to do. we were with older kids and every day we have done something, canoeing, karting, zwemmen.We have been a short week and have a really great time despite the not so good weather.

The house is certainly not adapted for wheelchair users or people with reduced mobility. What we missed a mixer and a grater. But these are fiddling in proportion to the things we have enjoyed double stove (gas and electric) and handy kitchen, the comfortable seats in deleefruimte, bedrooms each with separate bathroom shower, sink and toilet. the village surroundings with hiking flat bijde bakery in the village within walking distance (except Friday) The hospitality of the owners under the motto this is your home for a week. We are with 15 friends been to La Taupinière in September 2015. The great advantage of this house we found that each bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet. Additionally, the large dining table in the kitchen is a big plus. The weather was not ideal during our weekend but with some furniture moving in the garden, we could have lunch with the whole club in the spotlight. Welcoming owners who have recommended and booked a restaurant for us. As soon the new wellness and the larger living room to be ready, the house is still optimal. The ongoing rebuilding otherwise not affected. That is, in a different part of the house.

At the end of January we went here with the whole family, including 5 children. We have really enjoyed ourselves here. The rooms were spacious, neat and pleasant to stay in. There is a living room with television and couches for chilling, but we have actually only been in the kitchen to eat, chat and play games. We also spent a lot of time in the sauna which was very nice considering the wet and cold weather. The house has several outdoor spaces, which is a great place to hang out and / or barbecue when the weather is nice. The owner was very friendly and everything went well. In short, a really nice place to go with a group, especially with nice weather or snow.

Upon arrival the landlords were already waiting for us! 2 very jovial people who received us with great pleasure. Because of the openness of the landlords, we felt immediately at ease. Our company, four couples with seven (grand) children aged 3 to 11 years, were here for a family reunion. The accommodation offered sufficient space for this company. The pool is small, but it met the requirements. Parents with children who do not master the art of swimming must be very attentive and remain, because the pool is not protected by a fence. The adjacent to the kitchen with home residents experience little privacy, feels a little uncomfortable for both parties. La Taupinière is a renovated old farmhouse that is ideal for a stay with friends or family. A big advantage is that each room has its own bathroom. The pool (very good orientation, almost the entire day sun) and dinette were popular and cozy. The only disadvantage we found the lack of grass. The owners are very welcoming pleasant people who are ready for any question or problem. The location of the house is centrally located in the village so you have very close a bakery and supermarkets.

The welcome from the owners was fantastic, nice relaxed people. The house is wonderfully central for excursions. Where you really do not feel like it because the house offers many possibilities for relaxation. The spa is wonderful sauna ample. immersion bath at exactly the right temperature. Friendly welcome, we were there 5 days, good base to explore the Ardennes. Near La Roche, the waterfalls of COO, Durbuy and cheap tanks and alcohol / cigarettes in Luxembourg. Beautiful accommodation with great saunas. These people put their heart and soul into it.

Very pleasant and warmly received by the homeowners! Detailed explanation about the house upon entry. Fine accommodation. Each bedroom has a shower + toilet + sink, comfortable beds, kitchen with all inventory. Traveled with 3 families and 2 dogs. Had a top stay!

The farmhouse is in a quiet location, but half an hour's drive from larger towns and attractions, ideal for us as you can look for the crowds. Furthermore, a very nicely decorated house with enough space for our travel group and a wonderful wellness that completes the stay! Upon arrival the landlords were already waiting for us! 2 very jovial people who received us with great pleasure. Because of the openness of the landlords, we felt immediately at ease. The accommodation was fine! Very spacious house with several bedrooms, each with its own bathroom! This was certainly a great asset of this property! The wellness is also welcome. Completely self-renovated, the landlord proudly showed his own renovated wellness. Here we have also greatly enjoyed. This property is suitable for groups of friends as well as for couples!

It's a beautiful house, spacious and comfortable. There is a pleasant living room, the kitchen is large well equipped with two good stoves, two dishwashers and a large refrigerator. Furthermore, there is an extra long dining table, making it pleasant to be there. The Wellness area is impressive. We had rented the house in winter. On arrival the house was well heated, everything was fine and looked well cared for.

At the end of January we went here with the whole family, including 5 children. We have really enjoyed ourselves here. The rooms were spacious, neat and pleasant to stay in. There is a living room with television and couches for chilling, but we have actually only been in the kitchen to eat, chat and play games. We also spent a lot of time in the sauna which was very nice considering the wet and cold weather. The house has several outdoor spaces, which is a great place to hang out and / or barbecue when the weather is nice. The owner was very friendly and everything went well. In short, a really nice place to go with a group, especially with nice weather or snow.

We were very well received. Owners were friendly and always available for questions. The house was large and pleasant, except for a few minor repairs. A large space still had to be renovated, when this is finished this will be an added value for the house. The only thing we found very unfortunate was that the pool was not heated, as it was on the website, so it was not usable at all.

Authentic house, beautifully with sense of style cultivated by owner. Spacious, perfect spaces and very suitable for large groups. Fortunately no Ikea interior! Administrator before speaking and could slightly earlier in the home. Outstanding service! Cottage is fantastic. Rooms are in good condition and are all different in terms of theme. The kitchen and dining facilities are spacious sitting and you do not run each other's way when 15 sitting in this municipality. The living room is nice and cozy and you can sit. The spa is in the basement. This is spacious and an oasis of calm. A door gives you access to the garden and pool. The garden is spacious and you can have a great time. Outdoor heated delightful and well stay even if it is less again. Finally you have a lovely outdoor seating area directly adjacent to the kitchen. Provided the weather is nice you can enjoy fine here with the sun. Highly recommended.

Our company, four couples with seven (grand) children aged 3 to 11 years, were here for a family reunion. The accommodation offered sufficient space for this company. The pool is small, but it met the requirements. Parents with children who do not master the art of swimming must be very attentive and remain, because the pool is not protected by a fence. The adjacent to the kitchen with home residents experience little privacy, feels a little uncomfortable for both parties. We have concentrated our activities in the garden with lawn to the front of the property with a nice bbq / party area. The property must have the same facility to grow, because the inside is still stable site. No washing machine we found a great loss. Summarizing, we can say that we have experienced a good week ..

Friendly welcome from the cool and helpful owners .Moo wellness and swimming pool .The kitchen is spacious and everything is adequate. Rooms are tidy and each room has its own bathroom which is easy if you are with a large group .We have despite bad weather had a great weekend. We are a long weekend with thirteen friends went to La Taupinière. The house is very cozy with a great porch / platforms We also had beautiful weather so we did not get seated inside. Each couple had their own room with good (not sagging) beds. Each room was equipped with a good shower and toilet. Some also had a bath.The pool provided the necessary verkoeling.Een gasbarbeque (for the lazy) and a coal bbq made us complete the party (along with large fridge-freezer ...) The area has plenty to do and something for everyone (caving, survival, beautiful walks, etc.). Supermarkets at 3km distance (Lierneux) For us it was just really liked it! Highly recommended.

Beautiful house in a quiet village in the Ardennes. Well received by the owner, who explained everything during a tour of the house. A lovely spacious house where there were eight of us and everyone had their own bedroom with bathroom. Perfect places outside for a BBQ or breakfast with the whole group. With the saunas, the swimming pool and a dart board and table football it was a top place! Will definitely come back.

Very relaxed and had warmly welcomed in this house. Tasty weekend There are many pluses to this property, especially that every bedroom has a bathroom with shower and toilet and one bedroom with a spacious bathroom with bathtub. We enjoyed ourselves very well in large living-kitchen, and the biggest plus is the 2 dishwashers. The outdoor terraces are very spacious and the pool looked nice, only just too cold even to get out of it. Use The wellness area is still under development and will be expected to start next year, but this was not part of the booking, the contact just novice owners could be called pleasant and were open to our ideas and minor additions. La Taupiniere worked fine for our needs for a nice weekend of it and so z 's to celebrate. All my birthday (65) We had excellent rooms all with en suite shower facilities. We could individually and jointly of pulling together and prepare nice meals in the separate kitchen which was well equipped with materials. The house has a lot of potential to be. formed after the necessary investments to a luxury resort we have been able to enjoy in this state during a long weekend.

We are with 15 friends been to La Taupinière in September 2015. The great advantage of this house we found that each bedroom has its own bathroom with toilet. Additionally, the large dining table in the kitchen is a big plus. The weather was not ideal during our weekend but with some furniture moving in the garden, we could have lunch with the whole club in the spotlight. Welcoming owners who have recommended and booked a restaurant for us. As soon the new wellness and the larger living room to be ready, the house is still optimal. The ongoing rebuilding otherwise not affected. That is, in a different part of the house.

The house we stayed met our expectations. Especially the terrace was sublime! Too bad that was not to use the pool in October. In October, there may also still be sunny days. We were 11 and could easily take a seat at the table in the kitchen. If there are several people at been (since the house for 15 pers.) Then this would have been very tight. The living room is on the small side. By contrast, the rooms are really big and rustic style. Overall a really great house!
