Built in 2019, this new holiday home in Barvaux - Durbuy features 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, spacious kitchen and living room, and a sauna. On the generous terrace, you can enjoy the surrounding nature from the hot tub.
All facilities are in your immediate vicinity. From this holiday home you are only a few minutes away from Golf de Durbuy, the ancient centre of Durbuy with nostalgic sights and culinary surprises, and many activity accommodations. The numerous hiking trails offer you the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful nature.
And also in winter it is ideal to rent this holiday home in Barvaux - Durbuy. You are half an hour away from the highest ski resort in Belgium, Baraque de Fraiture. A beautiful area of nature along the Tailles plateau, where you can optimally exercise your winter sports activities. In addition to the (night-lit) ski slopes, there are also four tracks for cross-country skiing and a toboggan run.
All the necessary shops for your daily shopping (Action, Carrefour, Delhaize, Aldi, ....) are just a few minutes' drive from the holiday home.
DURBUY, THE SMALLEST CITY IN THE WORLD
Durbuy, situated on the river Ourthe, claims the title of "smallest city in the world". The ancient town received city rights in 1331. Durbuy's town centre has just a few hundred inhabitants. Fairly many buildings in the centre of Durbuy have been given a commercial function. So you will find quite a few brasseries and bars in Durbuy where you can indulge in culinary delights.
For sports enthusiasts, there is plenty to do in and around Durbuy. Hiking, cycling, kayaking, quad biking, mountain biking, abseiling, climbing, paintballing, participating in survival trips... almost everything is possible in this part of the Ardennes. There are even large activity centres in Durbuy, such as Adventure Valley, which focus entirely on all these kinds of activities. And Golf de Durbuy offers one of the most technically difficult golf courses in Belgium.
Durbuy has a number of local culinary specialities. As elsewhere in this region, you can eat delicious trout in Durbuy. Lovers of jams, fruit vinegars and other delicacies have a great spot in Durbuy at Confiturerie Saint-Amour. These jam makers have been producing delicious jams based on natural treasures from the Ardennes for several generations. A beer brewed in Durbuy is that of brewery Marckloff. The high-fermentation special beer is amber-coloured and has an alcohol content of 6.5 per cent.
The higher areas in and around Durbuy have beautiful slopes and arable land, while along the banks of the Ourthe in particular there are many forests. For hikers, the area around Durbuy therefore offers a diverse range of walks. In addition, Durbuy is surrounded by villages worth visiting.
The sights around Durbuy are not limited to what you see above the ground. You can visit several caves formed by underground rivers and erosion. An example of caves near Durbuy, are the Hotton caves. Also nicknamed 'Caves of a Thousand and One Nights', these caves are among the most beautiful caves you can find in Belgium.

Naast onze meest recente activiteit met onze private bed and breakfast K&L in Venlo bieden wij u via deze site de verhuur van een luxe wellness villa in Barvaux – Durbuy aan. De villa is gelegen in het hart van de Belgische Ardennen, voorzien van luxe en wellness en biedt u alle rust in een bosrijke gebied, in de directe omgeving van de Golf de Durbuy. Wij stellen alles in het werk om het onze gasten zo aangenaam mogelijk te maken. Dat zit in ons bloed!
