At the southern cape of Messinia, a medieval castle rises picturesquely into the sea like a pointed triangle, and the narrow alleys with the pretty houses of Koroni nestle against it. Two of the most beautiful beaches in the region border both sides of the village. Southwest of the charming village centre, the fine Zaga sandy beach stretches along the coast.
The holiday homes RIGOTIS, JORGOS MAGIA-KORONI and ANASTASSIA are scattered on a huge family plot on a beautiful slope above the sea, among oleander bushes, olive and citrus trees.
In the front area of the property with a wide sea view, the small holiday house RIGOTIS 2 is located between olive trees, approx. 30 m in front of the holiday house RIGOTIS 1.
The detached house RIGOTIS 2, renovated in 2019, stands slightly elevated, access via approx. 5 steps, quiet and idyllic, in rural surroundings, above the fine Zaga sandy beach. The heart of the house is the beautiful, partly covered terrace, with sea view, which is sure to become your living room. The interiors with high ceilings give the holiday home a pleasant spaciousness and Mediterranean charm. From the terrace, you enter a small hallway, which is adjoined on one side by the half-open kitchen and the through bedroom. A corridor leads from the passage room to the separate bedroom and the bathroom. A washing machine is located in a niche outside the house. Brightly furnished and with fresh accents, the holiday home RIGOTIS 2 offers the right setting for a carefree family holiday close to the sea and nature.
A pleasant footpath leads across the natural property and the surrounding fields after a few steps and a total of approx. 450 m to the fine sandy ZAGA beach.
Wenn Sie im Urlaub am Stadtleben teilhaben möchten, für die Besorgungen des täglichen Lebens keine langen Wege zurücklegen wollen und dennoch ruhig und in naturbelassener Umgebung wohnen möchten , dann ist der Standort dieses Ferienhauses perfekt. Das nah liegende pittoreske Städtchen Koroni, mit seinem schmucken Hafenbild, den Tavernen und Cafés bietet eine schöne Abwechslung zur ruhigen Umgebung dieses Ferienhauses.
Vom besonderen Charme, an der westlichen Seite Messeniens, sind außerdem die Städte Pylos und Methoni. Im Küstenland zwischen Koroni und Pylos erstrecken sich noch viele unberührte, feine Sandstrände.

Abgesehen von ein paar Schwierigkeiten am Anfang waren es sehr erholsame Ferien in Rigotis 2. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Das Haus ist wie beschrieben, aber der Vermieter geht gar nicht.Wir hatten die ersten 4 Tage ca.2 Stunden Strom am Tag, dauernde Ausfälle und das waren keine Stromausfälle die alle betroffen hätten sondern nur das Grundstück.Alle Nachbarn hatten Strom zudem gab es natürlich auch kein warmes Wasser aber der Boiler war auch noch hinüber.Wurde dann am 5 .Tag ersetzt.Nach mehrmaligen Anrufen auch bei Jassu war dann nach 5 Tagen endlich Strom und Wasser OK. Es ist sehr schade, denn es ist ein schönes Domiziel aber wenn nichts funktioniert ist das sehr unangenehm.Es scheint nun alles zu passen aber wir waren nicht zufrieden.

das große Plus daran ist die wirklich traumhafte Lage! Nachteil ist das sehr einfach ausgestattete Bad, duschen kann man nicht wirklich ohne alles nass zu machen - wir haben immer die Außendusche benutzt (die natürlich kein warmes Wasser hat). Der Herd war kaputt, die vordere rechte Platte ließ sich nicht mehr ausschalten (das heißt, man musste immer die Sicherung aus-und einschalten, das Backrohr ging gar nicht. Der Besitzer, der nur griechisch spricht, hat einen halbherzigen Versuch unternommen, hat aber während unserer Anwesenheit (2 Wochen - und wir haben es ihm sofort am ersten Tag gezeigt), nichts repariert.

Bettwäsche und Handtücher wurden in 10 Tagen, die wir dort waren, nicht einmal gewechselt. Mäuse unterm Dach und Geckos im Zimmer, der Strand versprochen 400 Meter entfernt, aber auch 100 Meter runter, durch Hinterhöfe und Gärten. Steine am und im Wasser und keine Liegen mit Schirmen.....aber der Blick von oben war grandios..... Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und ein großer Kühlschrank war da. Die Vermieterin sprach kein Englisch oder Deutsch wir sprachen nur: Kalimera, Kalinikta näh, näh,näh.

Overall, we had a wonderful 2 weeks. On a terrace overlooking the sea and olive trees. The beach is within walking distance. The town is about a 25-minute walk away. The cottage was simply furnished but sufficient for two adults. In my opinion, the house is not suitable for 5 adults. It's okay for a couple with 3 small children. You have to pass through the room with the double bed to get to the bathroom. When you enter the house, you are directly in the room with the 3 single beds.

Even in our second holiday at this holiday home, the beautiful view and the extremely quiet location completely overshadowed the simple but perfectly adequate facilities. We would book this accommodation again at any time.

Beautiful stay in this simple yet clean house with a lovely terrace and sea view. The Sagastrand is about a 10-minute walk away and very nice and quiet. The house is very basic but has everything you need. Some things could be improved, such as the shower and the mattresses. We had a lovely time in this holiday home. Koroni is a beautiful village where you can find everything you need (about 5 minutes by car). Birgit and family.

The house is quiet, surrounded by olive groves, about 10 minutes from the sea. Other residents of the house are geckos, who have surely come through the roof but are more afraid of people. However, they are active at night. The kitchen and bathroom are functional, but not up to German standards. We had a relaxing holiday in the midst of an idyllic setting - yet close to the pretty town of Koroni with its numerous tavernas and cafes.

The description is already very accurate! If you like living in peace, this is the right place! The house is well-maintained, clean, and practically furnished, we didn't miss anything and especially enjoyed the terrace and outdoor shower (both with a sea view)! A footpath leads through the vineyard to the beautiful sandy beach. However, the washing machine is located at the landlord's place, about 100 m away. We preferred to wash by hand. Conclusion: We will come back in 2010!

The house is well kept, clean and practically furnished, we didn't miss anything and especially enjoyed the terrace and outdoor shower (both with a view of the sea)! Other inhabitants of the house include geckos, which have safely come through the roof, but are rather afraid of humans. Nevertheless, they are active at night. Kitchen and bathroom are functional, you can't go by German standards there. Nice stay in this simple but clean house with nice terrace and sea view. The Saga beach is about 10 minutes walk and very nice and quiet. The house is very simple but you have everything you need. Some things could be improved, like the shower and the mattresses. We had a lovely time in this holiday home. We made it true and came back after 2009. The house has been extensively renovated in the meantime, the terrace enlarged and there is nothing to complain about! Everything you need is here. If you like to live undisturbed with a beautiful view, this is the place for you!

The house is beautifully situated in the middle of an old vineyard with a great view of olive trees, vines and the sea. A functional and very cleanly furnished house with everything you need. The only drawback is the lack of separation between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. The partially shaded terrace is beautiful. We felt very comfortable and had a perfect rest. If you are looking for peace and original Greece, this is the place for you. We will definitely be back!
