Description

Beautiful studio for 2 persons with a box spring bed. Nice bathroom. Coffee maker, kettle and Senseo machine. There is also a refrigerator Backoven and electric cooker. There is a sitting area with 2 chairs where you can sit back and relax. And a modern sofa where you can sit in front of a TV. Next to the studio you can also sit outside. Bicycles are free. You can put your own bike in the garage. And park the car on the street. 2 km from the beach. Smoking is not allowed in the studio. We do not want dogs. You can relax completely.

In Aagtekerke is a peaceful countrysite, not far from the beach and lake 2 km and 2 km from Domburg. 5 km from Westkapelle and 10 km from Middelburg and 15 km from Vlissingen. Zoutelande 8 km.

Aagtekerke is a nice village with a little church in the middle and a supermarket and a wind mule. The windmill is still being used. In Aagtekerke, the inhabitants organise a lot for the guests. Domburg has a lot of furniture and you save on the beach. Westkapelle is 5 km away and has a light house (light tower) and is a dike village . By car or bicycle you can drive over the road and see the sunset at the end of it. You can go fishing there. Middelburg is 10 km away. There is a market on the Thursdag. You can travel around Mittelburg with a boat or a canoe through the canals. There are many shops and restaurants with terraces. Vlissingen is 15 km away and on the boulevard. Among them are many lunch cafes from which you can enjoy your lunch at the lake. You can take a boat to Breskens (Belgium) in a pleasant way. Zoutelande is a small village on the lake (8 km) and there is a market with very nice shops and terraces. And if they come over the dunes they can see Knokke und Zeebrugge (Belgium). Oostkapelle with lots of forest (5km) to Vrouwenpolder und nature reserve Oranjezon (10 km ). Veere is a fortified town with harbor. Here you can have a cruise on the veere lake. Every tuesdag is a historic market with many specialties from the region. (not in 2020 covid) There is a small grandma's sweetshop near the big church. Grijpskerke is a rugged village with many wheelways. Biggekerke is also a small village in August is Solexrace and at the end with music not in 2020 covid)

Restful vacation time

Nice welcome, friendly, uncomplicated hosts, nice little studio, great free use of bicycles and the parking space. We felt very comfortable and rested well in the beautiful area. Absolutely recommendable.

Great accommodation

We felt very comfortable with the Van Lambalgen family. The studio was small, clean and fine and equipped with everything you need! The hosts were friendly, helpful and had good tips for activities for us! We only used the car once for a trip to Belgium, because you can do everything super well here by bike! So many great places can be reached by bike from the accommodation! We can recommend the accommodation to any couple who is on the road a lot! Thank you Van Lambalgen family for the nice hospitality!

Holiday July/August

We felt very comfortable in the holiday apartment. Everything as described. On the day of arrival we were warmly welcomed with cake and beer. The family is very nice, helpful and gives tips on what to do or where to find the best fries. The accommodation is highly recommended and we give 5 out of 5 stars.

Everything is great!

We found everything just as it was described. We felt very comfortable and Aagtekerke was a good starting point for the beach and excursions in the surrounding area. We definitely want to come back and rent the studio here at Lenny and Tijm's house.

Lenny and Mr Lambalgen are very nice landlords, hospitable and uncomplicated. Communication in German was no problem, even in the area around Domburg. The Lambalgen family gave us 2 bicycles free of charge for the entire
For the whole stay by the Lambalgen family. Daily grocery shopping etc, possible in approx. 2km distance at Albert Heijn, many small "sales stalls" of private people (fruit, vegetables from own garden, homemade jams etc.) at the streets of the surrounding villages. Shopping at the farm shop around the corner is also great (delicious home-made cheese). Everything can be done by bike, very nice sandy beaches, great nature. We had a very good rest and will certainly come back.

Nice apartment in a quiet location

We spent a very calm and relaxing week with the Lambalgen family. The apartment had everything one needs and was very clean. The location was excellent. It's only a 2 km bike ride to Domburg and takes 20 minutes to get to Oostkapelle. Since we had nice weather the whole week, we only used the apartment for sleeping and breakfast. If it had rained, it might have felt a bit cramped. The main German TV channels were available and there was WiFi, although it wasn't strong enough for streaming on the iPad. The van Langbalgen family promised to improve this.

Entspannter Urlaub

We were greeted very friendly by the hosts. In our studio, which is very new and modern as described, we felt very comfortable. It is not self-evident that cool drinks such as sparkling water, wine, and beer as well as coffee, tea, and a delicious piece of cake were waiting for us as a welcome. Also worth mentioning is the totally comfortable box spring bed. The surroundings are very beautiful. Just a short distance from Domburg and easily reachable in only 10 minutes with the bikes provided. The hosts are very concerned that you feel absolutely comfortable, and they are always open to questions and suggestions.
We can only recommend the accommodation, and we will gladly come back.

Super gut

We really liked the modern, tastefully furnished studio. It was very clean and in a quiet location, perfect for relaxing and as a starting point for various activities. We brought our bicycles, which were allowed to be safely stored in the garage. The lovely hosts were open to all questions and gave us valuable tips on the routes. Recommendable

What a lovely welcome. When we arrived after a 4-hour drive, there were cold drinks waiting in the fridge. That was wonderful. Everything is provided, bed linens, towels, coffee, tea, paper towels, and toilet paper. Another positive aspect is the fly screens on the windows, and there is a ceiling fan and a stand fan. This saved us, as it was 36 degrees. You can reach everything easily with the bicycles that you can rent from the landlords. All in all, a very well-rounded vacation.

Der perfekte Urlaub

We spent a very nice and peaceful holiday here. The accommodation really offers everything you need for a relaxing holiday (coffee machine, kettle, cutlery, plates, cups, etc.) and much more. A very quiet and nicely furnished studio that has been completely renovated and refurbished recently (July 2020). The owners are very helpful and very nice and give tips for shopping, beautiful beaches, or delicious and good restaurants, all of which are within reach. Domburg is only 10 minutes away. It is possible to reach by bike and the owner has also thought of bicycles, as these can be rented directly from the owner (for a very low rental fee / per day). So there is nothing standing in the way of bike excursions. We appreciated the peace and friendliness of the owners very much, and for us, this was a successful holiday. I can recommend to everyone to come to Domburg and book their accommodation here at "Studio 17," because the surroundings have so much to offer and it's simply worth it. We will definitely come back and are already looking forward to it. This is how vacation should be.
