Good holiday apartment - recommended
We were in this apartment on Texel for the first time and will definitely come back again. The location of the apartment is very good. There are several excursion possibilities. Everything is easily accessible by bike. You can practically conquer the entire island by bike. The beautiful, wide sandy beach is not far away. The nearest village, De Koog, with all the necessary amenities, is within walking distance or by bike. The hotel complex where the apartment is located has sufficient parking space and also offers bicycle rental. The apartment itself is well-maintained and functionally furnished. All items such as dishes, pots, glasses, etc. are provided in sufficient quantity for 4 people and occasional visitors. The apartment is clean. Definitely recommended.
We have been on vacation on Texel for a while and this year was the first time we stayed in this holiday apartment. For us, it was the nicest accommodation so far. Price/performance ratio is optimal here. The location is very quiet. The hostess is really nice. we could contact her at any time. We will definitely book another stay on Texel with Fam Schellmann.

Family holiday by the sea
Nice and cosy holiday flat. The first floor and attic on the west side of the complex are mainly owned by private owners. It is quiet and the location towards the forest is particularly beautiful. The flat is well equipped and has everything you need. Since the flat is completely tiled, although a dog is allowed, everything is absolutely clean and neat. Also the possibility to use the books in bad weather, The fireplace and the painted pictures with texts assume motives, give a cosy impression. The central location of the apartments as a starting point for many excursions is very good. We took our own bicycles with us and were able to store them safely in the shed belonging to the flat. The German-speaking person in charge of the flat was very friendly and gave us some good tips for the holiday. All in all, a successful holiday. We will be happy to come back.

Beautiful relaxing holiday
We have stayed in this flat on Texel several times and will definitely come back again in the future
The location of the flat is very good and many excursions are easily accessible. The beautiful sandy beach is only a few minutes' walk away and the nearest village with all the local amenities is also within walking distance. Possible excursion destinations include the nearby riding stables, the wysenspiek cheese dairy and all the activities around the Koog.
The hotel complex in which the flat is located has ample parking and there is also a bicycle rental service.
The flat itself is well-maintained and functionally furnished. In good weather you can relax on the balcony and in bad weather in front of the electric fireplace in the flat. All items such as dishes, pots, glasses etc. are available in sufficient quantity for 4 persons and the one or other visitor. The cleanliness is good. If there are any problems, there is a contact person (speaks German) on the island
All in all, it was another nice holiday and we will be back again.

First vacation on Texel
The apartment was very clean. The distance to the beach was about 15 minutes on foot, a very nice walk through the dunes. Bicycles can be rented at the adjacent hotel.
The apartment is located on the forest side with a balcony where the sun shines in the afternoon and evening :-)
Unfortunately, I could only give 3 stars for the equipment, as there was a lack of drinking glasses and the dishes were not clean. But these are all things that don't spoil your vacation, but should be addressed. The electric fireplace added nicely to the evening atmosphere in bad weather - a plus. Parking in front of the house, elevator available, and you can drive right up to the room with freely accessible luggage carts and don't have to carry your suitcases. Overall, I can recommend the apartment.

Very relaxing quiet holiday
For us (2 people with a small dog), this was a fantastic holiday. The location, the amenities, and the cleanliness of the apartment can be described as good to very good. You can reach De Koog or Den Burg just as quickly as the beach, but you are still in a calm place with a forest right outside the door and have peace to relax if you're not a fan of the usual holiday tourism. We really enjoyed the entire island very much. Also, the farms where you can buy cheese, meat, honey, etc. Of course, the harbor with its fresh fish is highly recommended. There is nothing negative to report here. On the contrary. We will gladly come back!!!

Always a great holiday!
The flat is simply furnished, but very clean and everything you need is there!
On cold days, the electric fireplace is really cosy
You can rent bicycles at the hotel next door. Directly from the flat you come to a forest path - here you can jog wonderfully or use the cycle path that takes you to the centre of de Koog in just a few minutes
If you have any questions or problems on site, the person in charge of the flat is very friendly and helpful.
