Extensive hiking and cycling trails, as well as a 7.5-kilometer circular hiking trail with information panels, allow all guests to explore the impressive natural surroundings of Tanne in an exciting way.

Nearby Activities: Whether hiking or mountain biking, a fun-filled family vacation with children, or a culturally and historically interesting trip with friends: the Harz National Park has something for everyone. The most beautiful hiking trails pass almost right by your holiday accommodation and promise you unparalleled impressions of nature. A great alternative to climbing the Brocken is a hike to the Wurmberg in Braunlage. Lower Saxony's highest mountain is easily manageable even for inexperienced hikers and offers an almost equally spectacular panorama when visibility is good. For even greater comfort, you can glide to the summit in the modern gondolas of the cable car. How about a visit to the high ropes course in St. Andreasberg? We also highly recommend a visit to the Western town of Pullman City (near Hasselfelde, about ten kilometers away) and the famous Rübeland stalactite caves, especially for families with children.

The house is underground! Torn and loose floor tiles with cutting hazards, No curtains in front of the windows, Moldy joints in the shower, Wallpaper falling off the wall in the bathroom, Extremely unkempt garden that is unusable, Not even a peeler or whisk in the kitchen, Endless postponements by the provider, We cannot recommend the house at all, such a thing should not even be available for rent. The impression of a scam is overwhelming.

A very practical place to stay, the kitchen was well equipped, and we appreciated the high chair and crib for our little one. Nearby attractions, such as Wernigerode Castle, were easy to reach and made for excellent day trips.

We had an amazing stay at Ferienhaus an der Wiese! The panoramic view of the Harz Mountains from the terrace was breathtaking, especially during sunset, The kids loved the nearby hiking trails, and we appreciated the cozy feel of the house, Highly recommend!
