Description
The approx. 60 m² large house was completely renovated and newly furnished in 2019.
The furnishings, all in light colours, give you the feeling of having arrived and being welcome as soon as you enter. We have paid a lot of attention to details, the entire kitchen as well as all wardrobes and chests of drawers in both bedrooms have been custom made to fit perfectly. This creates a coherent picture and you will find a lot of storage space.
The house is regularly inspected by us to ensure that the furnishings and condition are to your satisfaction. It is a non-smoking house. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Our WLAN connection is available to our guests free of charge
The equipment in detail:
Ground floor
The cloakroom is located in an area separated from the living room and offers sufficient possibilities to hang up jackets and coats. Shoes can be stored in the shoe rack.
The dining area has a large table with four chairs. A high chair for children is available on request. Please inform us accordingly when booking.
Opposite the seating area you will find a Smart TV, which allows you to receive numerous German programmes. If you have a Netflix account, you can use it here. In the sideboard under the TV there is a radio/CD player, a game collection is also available. Here you will also find our information folder about the house and its surroundings.
The kitchen has a ceramic hob, an oven, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee machine, Senseo coffee machine, kettle and toaster as well as a generous supply of crockery, cutlery, pots and other kitchen appliances.
The bath/WC has a window, a large shower on the ground floor as well as a heatable towel holder and a washstand incl. base units with a glass wash basin.
The bathroom has a dark grey tiled floor, all other floors both on the ground floor and the upper floor are covered with high-quality wood laminate.
The large sliding terrace door provides access to the fenced garden. The terrace consists of a Douglas fir wooden deck and offers more than enough space for a table and four comfortable chairs. In the evening the terrace can be illuminated.
In the lockable box in the garden you will find the barbecue, a parasol and a clotheshorse.
First floor:
One of the bedrooms has a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and sliding door wardrobes with plenty of storage space.
In the second bedroom you will find two single beds (each 80 x 200 cm), which can also be easily combined. The wardrobe and chests of drawers also offer plenty of space.
A large mirror is located in the hall on the upper floor.
A child safety gate is fitted at the top of the stairs.
As the bed linen service is included in the price, you will find freshly made beds on arrival.

Location and surroundings of object
The bungalow park "De Tong" is located in the Netherlands, province of Zeeland, on the island of Schouwen-Duiveland near Bruinisse and is particularly child- and dog-friendly. The island of Schouwen-Duiveland is connected to the mainland and neighbouring islands by bridges and dams. The houses in de Tong are arranged in small, relaxed groups. In between there are very generous green areas with old trees and a duck pond. The parking spaces are available to the owners or holiday guests via an access barrier. Within the park there are two playgrounds - one with a trampoline, a football field, a table tennis table, a table football and a bowling alley (balls can be hired at the reception). To the right and left of the entrance are the dog run-out meadows. You can easily reach the holiday resort Aquadelta (signposted as "Centrum") via a well-developed footpath or cycle path that leads through a small wooded area. Here you will find a restaurant, a small indoor swimming pool, a small supermarket, bicycle rental and a launderette (coins for the washing machines can be bought at the reception of the Aquadelta).
Within walking distance from de Tong is the marina, which will be completed in 2012. There is a restaurant with a floating terrace, a supermarket and a play and bathing area for smaller children, as well as a sailing school and boat hire (in the Netherlands this is also possible without a boating licence). During the summer months there is a snack car at the sailing school. Right next to the marina is the public bathing beach, which is ideal for children as the water is shallow and also warmer and quieter than that of the open North Sea. The adjacent dune area is ideal for walks - with or without a dog - and offers a magnificent view over the Grevelingen Sea; a popular sailing and surfing area. The beach of the Grevelingen Sea is about 300m away from our house and can be easily reached on foot.
Bruinisse
Bruinisse borders directly on the Grevelingen Sea and the Oosterschelde.
In the village centre you will find all shopping facilities (large supermarket, drugstore, wine shop, bakeries) and several restaurants.
The fish restaurant "BRU 17" is located in the harbour with its lock access. Our tip: Buy a snack "on the hand", take a seat in the big shell and watch the boat traffic.
From Bruinisse, a car-free cycle path runs along the Oosterschelde to Zierikzee (the entrance is a little hidden behind the restaurant "Brasserie Vluchthaven").
Shopping: For small purchases you will find a supermarket in the holiday park "Aquadelta". In the centre of Bruinisse there is a supermarket (Albert Heijn), a wine shop and a drugstore. On the road towards Zierikzee, after approx. 5 km you will see a shopping park with several shops (including Aldi, Jumbo supermarket) on the right-hand side in Nieuwerkerk.

We felt very comfortable in their house; it is very well equipped, cozily furnished, and the facility invites to many rounds. The surroundings have a lot to offer, both with and without a car.

Beautiful little house and super holiday park
We were 2 people and our small dog for 8 days in this beautiful little house. We have never had such a nice kitchen, everything, but really everything you needed was present. The whole house was nicely decorated and we really felt at ease. We slept great because the beds were also perfect, which is often not the case. The park was also very beautiful and perfect for walking with the dog. All in all, we had a super vacation. Thank you for that, Mrs. Berger.

Great vacation with dog
We had a very relaxing stay at De Tong 92 and felt comfortable from the very beginning. The house is clean and cozily furnished. Our dog especially loved the garden. The property is green and very well-maintained. It’s only a few minutes' walk to the harbor.
The landlord was directly reachable for questions and took care of everything - thank you very much for that!
We can absolutely recommend the holiday home.

A holiday home that is absolutely recommendable in all respects
We have now already been to the holiday home de Tong 92 with Mrs. Berger for the third time, each time for a week, and again we were very enthusiastic. The house is bright, very tastefully furnished, has a nice little garden with a covered terrace, and provides plenty of space and a very pleasant atmosphere for my wife and me plus our dog. Furthermore, the home technology (TV, Wi-Fi...) works well. ) flawless and finally, as the responsible chef, I find a kitchen that is well thought out, completely sufficient for all necessities, and furnished with intelligence (which is a problem in many holiday homes). Everything my predecessors report positively, I can only endorse.
We are not really fans of Dutch holiday resorts and often feel uncomfortable due to their crampedness, but De Tong stands out pleasantly here. It is a very generously designed, quiet, green, and well-maintained facility that allows for undisturbed individual living. The location is also highly recommended. Bruinisse offers good shopping opportunities, and Zierikzee is a very nice town and not far by car as a shopping center.
We look forward to very nice walks with our dog in the nearby surroundings every time. As a tip, we recommend the "Boulevard of the Birds," starting in Flaauwershaven, beginning at the restaurant de Heerenkeet (through the lake landscape and back along the Schelde, about 1:20 hours) and a walk on the expansive sand beach of Brouwersdam. By the way, the restaurant Heerenkeet has an excellent fish shop (de Viswinkel). We haven't found better fish anywhere else.
We are already looking forward to our next stay with Mrs. Berger at de Tong 92. Highly recommended.

Nice little house in the countryside
Sweet and nicely decorated holiday cottage. We felt very comfortable there.
Unfortunately, the carpet was full of animal hair and since there was no vacuum cleaner, the only solution was to roll it up and put it in the corner.
But all in all a nice accommodation!
