The private garden area blends in well with the natural surroundings. Restaurants and shopping facilities can be reached in a few minutes, even without a car. The holiday flat is situated on a spacious property in the green. The house is quiet but still very close to the centre in a side street in the centre. It is only a few minutes' walk to the surrounding restaurants or to the harbour. The state-recognised resort of Born borders the bays of the Bodstedt and Saal Boddens to the south and is surrounded by the Darss forest and many meadows. The many cane-roofed houses and the typical ornate front doors are typical of Born.
In Born, guests will find plenty of peace and relaxation. The location is ideal for extensive cycling and hiking tours on the well-developed network of paths in Born and the surrounding area. A popular destination is the west beach a few kilometres away. Here you will find a kilometre-long, fine sandy offers Born a good infrastructure, there is a harbour for boat trips, several supermarkets, a petrol station, many restaurants, cafes and more.

Very clean and quietly located accommodation.
We spent a very relaxed New Year's Eve in the beautiful vacation apartment and felt very comfortable.
The amenities are sufficient and everything was very clean.
A visit to the "Alte Oberförsterei" museum in Born is highly recommended. Very interesting and entertaining.
We would certainly like to come back again.

Beautiful stay
We spent a lovely week in Bäckergang. The apartment is cozily furnished and equipped with everything one needs. Communication in advance went well, and helpful information regarding arrival and check-in was provided. The phone contact with Ms. Ziemann upon arrival was also very friendly, and our problem was resolved quickly and professionally. The location is optimal - situated quietly, but several restaurants are within walking distance in no time. On the sidewalk in front of the house / the terrace, there are always passersby or cyclists, but that doesn't bother us. We found the separate toilet and the covered storage option for bicycles practical. We would have wished for brighter lighting in the kitchen and living room - it was quite "dim" when reading or cooking. Additionally, there was a mosquito net at the bedroom window, but only there - so the mosquitoes came into the bedroom through the other rooms... We would have also found a curtain in front of the apartment door to be sensible. This door has glass inserts, and the wardrobe is not in the bedroom, but in the hallway directly in front of the door. When getting dressed or changing in front of the wardrobe, one is in the line of sight of passersby.
What one should also know (however, this was not relevant for us): there is no space for a children's bed in the bedroom, and unlike in the description, during our stay the garden was fenced in at the front but completely open at the back. Overall, we would recommend the apartment for two people and would be happy to return.

Cozy holiday apartment
Cozy small apartment with terrace. Baltic Sea beaches are easily reachable by bike. Born is a nice Bodden town. There is a good cultural offering in Born and the surrounding area.

Everything is fine in the house so far. However, it cannot be that the caretaker is sneaking around the house early at 9 am and starting to sweep the terrace. Or he mows the lawn when you want to sit on the terrace during the day!!

Relaxing family vacation
We had a wonderful time in Born and fondly remember it. The holiday home is equipped with everything you need and has a really great location in the village. We had a very nice time with our toddler and the hosts were always available to answer questions :-)
