The holiday home is covered with reeds, typical for the Darss region. It has a living/bedroom with a comfortable sofa, satellite TV and a double bed, a bedroom with a double and a single bed, a bathroom with shower and WC, a complete kitchen with dining table and a roof terrace with garden furniture.

Location and surroundings of object
The holiday home is located on a spacious plot in the countryside. The house is quiet but still very close to the centre in a side street. The surrounding restaurants and the harbour are only a short walk away
The state-recognised resort of Born borders the bays of the Bodstedt and Saal Boddens to the south and is surrounded by the Darß forest and many meadows. Born is characterised by its many reed-roofed houses and the ornate front doors typical of the Darß.
Guests will find plenty of peace and relaxation in Born. The location is ideal for extensive cycling and hiking tours on the well-developed network of paths in Born and the surrounding area. A popular destination is the west beach a few kilometres away. Here you will find a kilometre-long, fine-sand natural beach
Born offers a good infrastructure, there is a harbour for boat trips, supermarkets, a petrol station, many restaurants, cafes and more.

Beautiful apartment in a great location
Beautiful, well-maintained holiday apartment in one of the most beautiful central locations in Born, we felt very comfortable here. Wonderful and quiet, with a lovely, relaxing view from the terrace. Very practical for us were the two bedrooms (upstairs) - my wife and I prefer to sleep separately - with the bedroom that has access to the terrace and the TV also being used as a living room. The dining area (downstairs), right next to the partially... We did not find the glazed entrance door (without curtain/privacy screen) quite as cozy as we had assumed, and the steep stairs to the upper floor are certainly not unproblematic for older seniors and very young children, but we have managed to adapt to the situation quite well. Overall, this is a very good neighborhood with an excellent price/performance ratio and a very attentive landlord. We love Born, which in our opinion is one of the most beautiful, charming, and original places on the Darß, as well as being somewhat away from mass tourism, while still being central enough for great bike trips in all directions. The best part is the "Biebersteig," with the bikes, through the enchanting Darß forest, to the wild West Beach of the Darß, a true natural beauty, with the most beautiful bathing spots far and wide - unforgettable.
We will gladly come back! :-)

Charming, captivating, adorable
Quietly located property. Lovingly furnished house. Beautiful rooftop terrace where you can relax wonderfully. The landlady is very accommodating. Small short-term wishes are happily fulfilled if possible.

The house offers everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The extremely steep, narrow staircase may take some getting used to.

Words speak louder than pictures.
I would like to give a better rating, but the facts speak for themselves. The kitchen equipment is very good, everything you need is there. Unfortunately, some dishes were dirty in the cupboard and the dishwasher was covered with food remnants at the edges and outside. The bathroom was very clean, but the corners of the shower are quite dark, and there are not enough storage options. The two bedrooms upstairs are okay. The bed in the room with the TV is very soft; new mattresses should be invested in here. Unfortunately, I have to say that the whole apartment is quite musty, the bedding and towels are scratchy and smell musty. The floor downstairs is really cold, even when it's warm outside. The balcony, the showcase image, is really dirty, with spider webs everywhere and wasps living under the floorboards, which is not a problem now, but later in the summer, sitting on the balcony will not be possible. The doors/windows are old, with peeling paint and crumbling putty. The worst thing for me was the staircase, which is so steep and the steps are too narrow; you couldn't see that in the pictures. If you have problems with stairs, you should not book this vacation home. We chose this vacation home based on its appearance on the internet, but unfortunately, our expectations were only partially met. The communication with the landlord was always very good, and she has other accommodations that may be better.
