Activities nearby: The Hanseatic city of Wismar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is absolutely worth a visit. Characterized by the harbor and fishing, lovingly restored town houses, market square and many cafes and restaurants, the lively city is a wonderful destination for young and old. Families with children are particularly recommended to visit the State Garden Show grounds with zoo, adventure camp and play farm barn. Wismar is surrounded by green nature, which forms a wonderful contrast to the blue of the Baltic Sea with the yellow coastal sand.
