Description

The bungalow is in a quiet location on the shore of Lake Mochow. The approx. 40m² bungalow can be used by 4 adults. An extra bed is also possible by arrangement. The ground floor is equipped with a bedroom with a 1.40'ger bed, an open living, dining and kitchen area as well as a small bathroom with toilet and shower, which was completely renovated and modernised in March 2021. The large sofa in the living room can be comfortably converted into a sofa bed. The bungalow has a loft, which is only simply equipped (two large mattresses, carpet, light, window), but can also be used as a bedroom for a total of four people. In our experience, children especially love the cave character and experience sleeping under the roof as a little adventure
The approx. 600 m² property is fenced off all around. The car can be parked on the property. The front part of the property offers a wide view over the field. From the rear area, you can let your eyes wander over the beautiful Mochowsee. Enjoy the birdsong or the sunset in the lounge set on the large terrace. Recently, there is also a small viewing platform in front of the property, with a garden bench. Here you have the most impressive view of Lake Mochow, which is also great to walk around with or without your dog (approx. 8 kilometres). The experience of nature, peace and quiet and deceleration are guaranteed. You also have access to your own jetty for fishing, swimming or lazing around, which you share with two other bungalows.

The cosy bungalow is located in the village of Lamsfeld, on the edge of the Spreewald. Shopping facilities (groceries), doctors, pharmacies, hairdressers, veterinarians and a savings bank are within a radius of 7 kilometres. Lake Mochow, including a usable jetty, can be reached on foot in two minutes. It is wonderful to start the day with a cool swim in the lake or to end it at sunset. The cottage is surrounded by fields, water and lots of forest. You can go hiking and cycling. The area is also very attractive for dog owners. There is a small campsite nearby where you can rent a rowing boat or simply eat a hearty portion of chips. There is also a children's playground and a basketball court. The Spreewald towns of Lübben, Straupitz or Burg, which are not far away, can be explored by car. The small towns of Lübben, Lübbenau or Burg, which are popular with tourists, offer not only nice restaurants and shops that invite you to stroll, but also the opportunity to explore the Spreewald by boat, kayak or canoe. Nearby, quad tours can be booked to give you a great impression of the surroundings. For connoisseurs and sauna lovers, the Spreewald-Therme in Burg leaves nothing to be desired. Should you miss the big city, you can reach Berlin and the beautiful Dresden in 1.5 to 2 hours by car.

We are owners of two large dogs ourselves and know that it is not always easy to find suitable accommodation when travelling. This is another reason why we have decided to open our bungalows to guests and their four-legged friends
However, it is important to us that the furry guests do NOT stay on the cushioned seating (sofa, armchair) or in the bed. As we also accommodate people without dog(s), we are concerned about mutual consideration. We also love our dogs dearly, but do not allow this in our home
Please consider for yourself whether you are willing to abide by this condition. If so, we very much look forward to welcoming you and your dog(s) to our home!

Relaxing short vacations with a dog

We were guests at the accommodation for 6 days and were totally thrilled.
We searched for a long time for a place that is perfect for a vacation with our dog and found it here.
The property is completely fenced and offers a garden that invites you to relax in the sun. The adjacent lake provides a beautiful panorama (especially in the evenings at sunset). The surroundings are perfect for walking with a dog, including plenty of swimming spots to cool off. The accommodation is equipped with everything important needed for the vacation, including a fully equipped kitchen.
Particularly noteworthy are the friendly hosts. Sabrina answered all our numerous inquiries very quickly and gave us a lot of insider tips for excursion destinations nearby.
Overall, an absolute recommendation and we will definitely come back.

Super cute holiday home

A small but very nice and well-equipped holiday home. It lacked nothing, and even the dog was thought of.

Everything is tidy and very clean. The location speaks for itself, simply beautiful! A dreamy place to just unwind.

Vacation with dog

A very nice little but fine cottage, with everything you need. Everything is very clean and tidy.

The bungalow is located a few steps away from the lake. Down the hill is the lake with a bathing and fishing jetty.

Very friendly landlords and very good communication.

We wanted to get out of the city and find some peace. That's exactly what we got.

There are many hiking trails around the lake and through the forests.

We were there with our furry friend, small / medium-sized. It was great for her. We all recovered very well.

We will recommend it further. Thank you.

A relaxing holiday destination

The contact with our hostess was super friendly and easy in communication. The holiday home is small but nice and has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The accommodation was very clean and tidy. It was great that we had bed linens, towels, kitchen towels, etc. on site and didn't have to worry about it. It's a paradise for pets. The property is completely fenced and the outdoor area is well maintained.

Holiday at Mochowsee

A holiday idyll at Lake Mochow! If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you.
We went on vacation there from October 14th to November 4th, 2023, and it was pure relaxation and nature.
So many pine forests for long walks with our 2 dogs, who felt very comfortable there.
Since it was also mushroom season, Sabrina and Sarah, our dear landlords, provided us with mushrooms.
The house has everything you need, the tiled stove quickly made it warm and it was very cozy.
Everything was very clean and modernly furnished.
There is a nice lounge area on the terrace, which we unfortunately could not use much, and various benches to enjoy the view of the lake and the surroundings.
A successful vacation all around.
Dear Sabrina and Sarah, thank you again for everything.
We will be back, Jutta and Uwe.

For our two Havanesers, my husband and me, this little house in this quiet location with the nearby lake was a perfect match. We were looking for peace and relaxation, and we found it.

Pure relaxation! Gladly again.

We, two adults with a child + dog, were guests in April. Already at the time of booking we had a very nice and friendly contact with the landlords.
The welcome was also very warm with a welcome drink, sweets, flowers and treats

The house itself is furnished with attention to detail and very clean. Everything you need was available in the kitchen, even coffee, tea, spices etc

The property is also very well kept with a great view of the lake, especially at sunset. As it was not yet that warm in April, we were able to make ourselves cosy with the stove

Lake Mochow also offers lots of swimming opportunities, especially for dogs who like to swim. There are also two very nice bathing beaches. Once we walked around the lake with its 8 km. We had a very good rest and will definitely come again!

Simply fantastic!!!

We (two sisters with three dogs) were here for 6 days and were able to enjoy a very relaxing time. The bungalow with direct views and access to the lake and its own boat dock is simply fantastic. It is cozy, and words fail to describe how beautiful it is. The bungalow is very clean, superbly equipped, very cozy, tastefully decorated, and absolutely quiet. Perfect location for long walks in the diverse and wonderful landscape! The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Everything is perfect here, and we will definitely come back! Absolutely beautiful

Unfortunately our week is over... A very cute little house, the landlords/managers really put a lot of effort into it and care for the love of detail. It starts with the treats for our dog, fresh flowers on the tables, to the stocked oven. Everything is lovingly decorated and spotlessly clean. We wanted for absolutely nothing and it will certainly not be the last time we stay with you. If you are looking for peace and quiet, you will find it there.

Great job!

We spent a week in the bungalow as a family with a dog. It was wonderful! Cleanliness, amenities, location... There is nothing to complain about! The reception and care from the landlords or their representative were very friendly. Any questions were quickly and kindly addressed! In short: A delightful, tranquil spot on Earth! Would love to come back!

Holiday at Mochowsee

Quilt and pillow already had stains, we would like to apologize for the shower. Otherwise, everything was great, but we realized that the bungalow would be better for 2 adults and two children.
