Description

The holiday home is located on a slope directly on the shore of the magnificent Großer Mochowsee, on the edge of the Spreewald. It offers space for up to 4 people. It has a living room with sofa bed (1.40m wide) and a separate bedroom with double bed (1.60m wide). The equipment also includes a fully equipped kitchenette and a modern bathroom with shower
The approx. 480 sqm forest property with terrace is fenced all around and offers you peace and relaxation. From the terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the sunset
The car can be parked on the property. The holiday home also has a jetty for fishing and bathing for shared use with two other holiday homes, accessible in 2 minutes. Pets welcome!

Location and surroundings of object

The Großer Mochowsee is embedded in a beautiful landscape in the middle of the forest and lake area in Lower Lusatia at the transition between Lieberoser Heide and Spreewald. The forest lake gets its special charm from the winding shoreline with the correspondingly many bays for bathing for humans and dogs. The lake can be circumnavigated in three hours along the Otter Trail. On the eastern shore near Lamsfeld is a popular family camping site with boat rental, a camping restaurant and a public bathing beach

Likewise, the Waldsee is a paradise for anglers, as there is no disturbing bathing tourism and no motor boats.

The state-recognised resort of Goyatz lies on the southern shore of Lake Schwielochsee with its bathing beaches, numerous water sports facilities and well-developed network of cycling and hiking trails. The MS Schwielochsee operated by Fahrgastschiffahrt Wiedemann travels on Lake Schwielochsee from April to October
- Burg in the Spreewald - 20 km
The state-recognised spa town of Burg lies in the UNESCO Spreewald Biosphere Reserve and is known beyond the region for its Spreewald Therme, a brine thermal bath that can only be found in the Spreewald. The romantic landscape and the lively Spree harbour invite you to take a boat trip or go paddling.
- Teichland Adventure Park - 30 km
In Teichland, a community north of Cottbus, a new, attractive adventure park with a summer toboggan run was built within just one year.
- Climbing Forest Lübben - 30 km
From tree to tree over wobbly footbridges, net bridges and ropeways, Lübben's Climbing Forest is a real adventure.
- Tropical Islands - 45 km
Europe's largest tropical theme park. It is located in the former Cargolifter shipyard hall, which is considered the largest cantilever hall in the world.
- City of Beeskow - 30 km
Beeskow - Entirely dominated by the castle, the historic town centre, surrounded by the almost completely preserved town wall, gives Beeskow its special character and invites visitors to explore its exciting history.
- Neuzelle Monastery - 50 km
The Neuzelle monastery complex was built between 1300 and 1330 and was an abbey of the Cistercian order located in Lower Lusatia.

Cancellation terms:

The tenant may withdraw from the lease agreement by providing a written statement to the landlord prior to the start of the rental period. The effective date is when the notice of withdrawal is received by the landlord: - Withdrawal up to 45 days before the start of the rental period: 20% of the rental price; - Withdrawal up to 35 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price; - Thereafter and in case of no-show: 90% of the rental price. Costs for services, such as providing bed linen, final cleaning, or a pet fee, which do not occur due to the cancellation, are not included in the cancellation fee. If an event occurs, not attributable to the landlord (e.g., fire, storm damage, rental prohibition by the state government (special regulation to contain the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and COVID-19)) before the start or during the rental period, which results in the rental property being unusable or unrentable, the lease can also be terminated without notice. Any advance rental payments will be refunded immediately.

Super vacation

We would like to sincerely thank Mr. Kulka for the wonderful vacation on his property. It was a holiday to relax and recover. To enjoy the peace. In the accommodation, everything is available that the heart desires. Our dog also felt comfortable. I can recommend this accommodation to everyone.

Birdsong, squirrels, swans and herons and the beautiful, peaceful Mochowsee... a natural paradise on a very well-kept property with a cozy house... everything was perfect for our short vacation here in Brandenburg! Vacation with deep relaxation

We were allowed to spend a week of dream vacation in the cottage of the Kulka family on the Great Mochow Lake and have already recommended this idyll to friends and acquaintances!
Those seeking peace will find it here! The holiday home is equipped with everything you need. It is very clean and lovingly furnished. Our host was very nice and always had an open ear for his guests.
The area is ideal for fishing, hiking, swimming and cycling. In the evening, there was a free concert of the nightingales and those who have open eyes and ears for nature will get their money's worth! So exactly what we were looking for and found!

Great holiday

Gladly again and again !!!!

Lovingly furnished holiday home with a great view. Relaxation and tranquillity in the countryside are at the top of the list here.
Our dog also felt very comfortable. Walks, relaxing on the sun lounger, swimming or cycling is no problem. The surrounding villages are also worth a visit.

The owner is very friendly and also gets 5 stars.

Great cottage for 2 by the lake

We had a wonderful week in the house. The 30 square metres were skilfully furnished so that there was no feeling of being cramped when we went down the stairs to the lake in the morning. There was only algae at the entrance to the lake and the landlord had even fished it away so that we could swim there in the otherwise clean (!) lake. We would go on holiday there again at any time. The contact with the landlord was perfect.

Nice vacation with a dog.

The location of the property is very beautiful, as well as its proximity to the lake. The holiday home itself provides everything one needs on vacation. Having a private jetty at the lake is also lovely, where one can fish peacefully. Many bites from small to medium-sized perch and various whitefish. The large predatory fish are less likely to be caught. The lake itself is heavily weeded and heavily affected by algae. Something should definitely be done about that. Otherwise, a very pleasant vacation with a dog!

Natur pur

If you love tranquility, this is the right place. We had a very quiet and relaxing vacation. Thank you very much, Family Kulka. The house is equipped with everything one needs. For self-catering, the nearest shopping options are in Goyatz (4km) or Straupitz (10km). This way, you have everything to not have to leave the large property. Send the man to the jetty to fish and then you can set up the sun lounger in the sun. If you still want to be active, the circular hiking trail around the lake is a good option. However, we doubt if 8 km are really that long. If that's still not enough, bicycles can be rented at the campsite. The stove is a blessing for cooler days.

A wonderful and relaxing holiday for us and our furry friends.

Thank you very much, Mr. Kulka, for this lovely holiday cottage. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the nature. We went on great city trips, explored the area with the mountain bikes and dog trailer, and also got plenty of exercise. Not only did we have a wonderfully relaxing holiday, but our four-legged friends did too. It's a dream, a short walk down the stairs to the lake, and you can hike around the lake for 8.5 km on a beautiful single trail or go swimming there perfectly in the summer. An absolutely great natural idyll. Our little highlight: setting the outdoor breakfast table. A sweet little tail tit fledgling suddenly sat on our plate, as the first flying attempts didn't go so well ;o) Goyatz is not far and offers all shopping facilities one might need, and at Netto there is a delicious bakery (Bakery Kuhla) where you can get great rolls and pancakes/cakes/pastries ;o) (it's even open on Sundays). We thoroughly enjoyed our 2-week vacation in this charming holiday cottage and in the evenings, we listened to the crackling fireplace in comfort. The TV was not turned on even once ;o) There are also plenty of books for bookworms to read ;o)

We will definitely come back and keep this vacation in very positive memory, THANK YOU
