Description
The bungalow is in a quiet location not far from Lake Byhlen, in the middle of the Spreewald. It was renovated and modernised by us this year (2020) and lovingly furnished with high-quality furniture. The 40m² bungalow can be used comfortably with 4 adults. The ground floor is equipped with two bedrooms, an open living, dining and kitchen area and a small bathroom with toilet and shower. The approx. 600 m² property is fenced all around and therefore very attractive especially for dog owners. The car can be parked on the property under the carport. The largest part of the property is located behind the house and is surrounded by greenery. Peace and quiet are guaranteed, especially since your view from the garden or from the higher, large terrace falls directly into the adjacent forest.

The cosy bungalow is located in the village of Byhlen, in the middle of the Spreewald. The Bylener See lake with its beautiful bathing area can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The nature-rich surroundings and the Spreewald towns of Straupitz or Burg, which are not far away, can be explored by car or on bicycles. Straupitz, which can be reached by car in a few minutes, has shopping facilities (groceries), a bakery, a pharmacy, doctors, a vet, a hairdresser and a savings bank. Burg, which is popular with holidaymakers, offers nice restaurants and shops that invite you to stroll around, as well as the opportunity to explore the Spreewald by boat, kayak or canoe. Quad tours can be booked nearby, giving you a great impression of the surroundings. For connoisseurs and sauna lovers, the Spreewald-Therme leaves nothing to be desired. Should you miss the big city, you can reach Berlin and the beautiful Dresden in 1.5 to 2 hours by car.

Dear dog owners,
we would like to draw your attention to a condition that we hope you will take to heart during your stay with us.
We are owners of two large dogs ourselves and know that it is not always easy to find suitable accommodation when travelling. This is another reason why we have decided to open our bungalows to guests and their four-legged friends
However, it is important to us that the furry guests do NOT stay on the cushioned seating (sofa, armchair) or in the bed. As we also accommodate people without dog(s), we are concerned about mutual consideration. We also love our dogs dearly, but do not allow this in our home
Please consider for yourself whether you are willing to abide by this condition. If so, we very much look forward to welcoming you and your dog(s) to our home!

Beautiful forest bungalow.
Despite the rain and cold, we had a very enjoyable time. Snuggling up by the fireplace in the evenings and looking directly into the forest through the panoramic window really has something special, doesn't it?
In the small but fine accommodation, there is everything you need. It is very clean, comfortably furnished, with good WiFi reception, and the kitchen has everything you need. We were warmly and personally welcomed, and everything relevant was explained and shown to us. Sabrina was always available and took care of any questions we had. Our dog also felt very comfortable and could move around freely, as the garden is well secured.
Highly recommended, we would come back...

pure tranquility
Perfect for relaxing. Picobello accommodation, surrounded by wonderfully fragrant forest, invites you to relax and unwind. The area is excellent for nature observers and the starry sky at night is breathtaking. Thanks to the super nice landlords!!!

Relaxed summer vacation in Byhlen
A very big thank you to Sabrina!
She welcomed us so warmly and explained everything in detail. The communication works perfectly. So nothing stood in the way of a relaxing holiday. We lacked nothing in the modern and lovingly furnished holiday home. Our two grandchildren also liked it very much. You can enjoy the calming nature with all the wonderful sounds and at the same time experience so many beautiful things in the surrounding area. Sabrina is always there with great tips. And our two little dogs felt literally "sauwohl". If something is missing, Sabrina comes immediately and helps. That is truly unique.
Thank you very much to both of you, Sabrina and Sarah! You do a fantastic job. We will definitely be back very soon.

Holiday with dog.
We two and our 2 furry friends had a very relaxing holiday week. The bungalow surrounded by beautiful nature is very lovingly furnished. The property is fenced, which of course was great for the dogs. We didn't miss anything and if we had, we could have contacted the nice landlords. We are very happy to recommend the accommodation.

Beautiful and relaxing vacation.
The holiday home and property are located in a very quiet location right on the edge of the forest. Ideal for relaxation and unwinding. In the mornings, you are only awakened by birdsong. The holiday home is tastefully furnished and the garden is great for relaxing. The property is fully fenced, so our dog could also move around freely. Very friendly and likeable landlady. It was a very nice week.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is the place for you, in the middle of nature and away from the noise of the roads.
The sights of the Spreewald are easily accessible. The accommodation is super equipped and clean. Our conclusion: absolutely recommendable.

Ein charmantes Häuschen zum Wohlfühlen
Wer absolute Ruhe sucht, einen großen Garten und eine Terrasse, die zum Verweilen einlädt, ist hier goldrichtig. Wenn es dann noch ein gemütliches Ferienhaus und zwei sehr nette Vermieterinnen dazu gibt, ist das Urlaubsglück perfekt! Wir haben absolut nichts vermisst und uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt ( und ich glaube, unsere Fellnase würde-könnte sie denn sprechen-genau das gleiche sagen :-) ). Vielen lieben Dank an Frau Krinowski und Frau Kloos für den außergewöhnlich netten Kontakt- wir hatten eine echt gute Zeit in Byhlen!

Wir haben uns bei der Begrüßung sehr willkommen gefühlt.
Lage, Ausstattung, Preisverhältnis alles alles Top.
Die ruhe Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr schön.

Urlaub am Byhlener See - Spreewald
Ein erholsamer Urlaub ist zu Ende und wir haben nur Gutes zu berichten.
Ein schönes Domizil mit großem, ganz umzäunten Garten, ideal für Urlaub mit Hunden. Im Haus alles drin was man braucht, sehr gemütlich und in absolut ruhiger Lage. Wir haben nichts vermisst!
Verschiedene Sitzplätze laden zum relaxen ein, ob morgens unterm Pavillon zum Frühstück, später auf der Liege im Garten oder Abends bei einem Glas Wein in der Lounge-Ecke auf der Terrasse. Auch bei Regen kann man auf der Terrasse im Trockenen sitzen.
Vor allem haben wir die Ruhe und Stille genossen.
Der Wald beginnt gleich hinterm Garten und bei Nacht kann man ohne Lichtverschmutzung den ganzen Sternenhimmel betrachten.
Den Byhlener See kann man zu Fuss schnell erreichen um morgens eine Runde zu schwimmen.
Vielen, vielen Dank an Frau Krinowski und Frau Kloos für den schönen Empfang und liebevoll gestalteten Bungalow. Sie waren auch immer erreichbar wenn man Fragen hatte oder Auskunft wollte.
Wir kommen wieder!!!
