Description
The Ankerhuus impresses with its location and special architecture. Quietly situated, on the edge of Carolinensiel and yet central. In a few minutes' walk you can quickly reach the centre with shopping facilities, many restaurants and the historic harbour. The supermarket is just around the corner. The holiday home stands out from the houses to the right and left not only because of the façade, which is clad in wood with great attention to detail, but also because of the interior design. On the upper floor is the modern and very comfortable living/dining area with loggia and a bathroom. From the spacious loggia (south side) you have a wonderful unobstructed view over the fields of Carolinensiel. The outdoor seating area is protected by a large roof overhang and equipped with radiant heaters. So there is nothing to be said against long evenings outdoors on the balcony. The modern kitchen is generously integrated into the living and dining area and is equipped to a high standard. There are also several flat-screen TVs, a Bose music system and free Wi-Fi. The internet and the TVs are Netflix compatible.
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed (180 x 200 cm) with access to the terrace, another bedroom with a custom-made bunk bed (90 x 200) and a bed (140 x 200 cm), so there is enough space for 2 to 5 people + toddler A small garden with terrace is lovingly landscaped and offers space for garden loungers and a small cosy sitting area. The comfortable bathroom on the ground floor has a large barrier-free shower with a rain shower, a large furniture washbasin and sufficient storage space

The Ankerhuus is quietly situated, but centrally located. In a few minutes' walk you can reach the centre of Carolinensiel with its historic harbour, many restaurants and various shopping facilities. The nearby supermarket is only a few minutes' walk away. The ClinerQuelle, the National Park House and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site are within walking distance. The picturesque seaside resorts, the offshore islands on the North Sea coast or the small towns like Wittmund, Esens and Jever invite you to stroll around.

In the period from 01.11. - 14.03. for adults from 16 years 1,25 € per person/day and children from 4-15 are exempt from the guest fee in this period. Payment is made via the rental contract. Here is the translation: The standard cancellation fee is 25.00%. The cancellation fee for cancellations 14 days before arrival is 100%. The cancellation fee for cancellations 28 days before arrival is 50%.

Three flat-screen TVs, a Bose music system, and free Wi-Fi are available. The internet and TVs are Netflix compatible. The open kitchen is high-quality equipped with an egg cooker, Dolce Gusto coffee machine (please bring capsules), and much more. The Ankerhuus has underfloor heating, an electric fireplace, and a washer dryer is available, grilling pleasure with a Weber tabletop grill (electric), and a handcart is ready.
The terrace has two coin-operated patio heaters. The parking lot is located right outside the door. Ankerhuus has a lockable storage room for bikes etc. A high chair and a trolley are available for our little guests.
For 2025, a beach chair will be available by the sea during the season.
House laundry, consisting of bed linen, a bath towel 100 x 150 cm, and two hand towels, is available upon request for a fee.

Arriving and feeling comfortable
We spent 5 relaxing days in this really beautiful and clean holiday home. Nothing was missing! Especially noteworthy are the two very tasteful and practical bathrooms. Highly recommended all around!

Wunderschöne Ferienwohnng
We spent our Pentecost holiday this year at Ankerhuus and were simply thrilled. A beautiful house with great opportunities for leisure activities. The landlords (the Wenker family) are simply top notch! Friends had rented the neighboring house at the same time and received a cancellation two weeks prior due to Corona! The Wenker family kept the house open for us until the end, and then we were allowed to travel according to the government. Thank you very much again for that. 5 stars!!!

Perfectly equipped, modern, and very cozy holiday apartment in a beautiful, quiet location.
We felt very comfortable and above all, very welcome as guests in this vacation rental from the beginning. The truly extensive equipment leaves nothing to be desired: television (also in the bedrooms), modern sound system, fully equipped open kitchen with everything your heart desires, large electric grill, small electric fireplace, washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of storage space, a few games for children, comfortable sofa, large dining table, friendly, bright, and modern furnishings with a lot of attention to detail that fits very well with the North Sea. The two bathrooms make it easy to share the apartment with several people. In addition to the ground-level terrace, the apartment also has a balcony where you can sit comfortably and covered, enjoying the beautiful view of the wide, quiet meadows and fields. A well-equipped supermarket is conveniently just around the corner. Towels and bed linen can be booked for a small extra charge. A bread roll service is even offered which brings breakfast directly to the doorstep.
