Information about the accommodation:
Our modern, non-smoking house with a spacious garden is ideal for active guests who want to surf, kite, or do other water sports at the Brouwersdam. It is only about 1.5 km to the dam. The garden is large enough to dry equipment and still relax on the terraces.
It is also excellently suited for families. Directly behind the house there is also a small playground. The house offers two terraces, one of which is covered, allowing you to enjoy your meals outdoors even on rainy days. For barbecue enthusiasts, a small charcoal grill is available here. Another small terrace is sheltered from the wind on the side of the house and offers a wonderful opportunity to relax and sunbathe. You will often be “visited” by ducks or rabbits, which live freely in the park and especially fascinate our little guests. We have created a stylish, comfortable home in which we have paid great attention to the small but important details.
In the entrance area there is the staircase to the first floor, a wardrobe, a separate WC, as well as a bathroom with washbasin, shower, and sauna.
Living and dining area with kitchen:
The kitchen with integrated dining area for 5 people is spacious and features a large sliding door to the covered terrace. This gives you an unobstructed view of the garden with the adjoining small pond from the dining table. In the kitchen you will find everything you need (electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, Senso coffee machine, filter coffee machine, toaster, egg cooker, kettle, cutlery, glasses, dishes, pots).
The adjoining living room offers direct access to the second terrace and the garden through an additional sliding door. Here you will find a cozy sitting area, an armchair, as well as a television and a radio/CD player.
Sleeping area / 1st floor:
The entire sleeping area is located on the upper floor and is thus separated from the daily living area.
The master bedroom has a double bed with a width of 160 cm. Here there is a wall-mounted television. It is suitable for 2 adults. A second bedroom for 2 additional people features a modern box spring bed, which is also 160 cm wide.
In the third bedroom you will find another box spring bed with a width of 140 cm, which is suitable for one adult or 2 smaller children.
In each of the bedrooms there is a wardrobe with a mirror.
Directly next to all bedrooms there is a bathroom with toilet, bathtub, and washbasin. Extras:
A separate storage area offers ample space for your beach equipment. Here you will also find a high chair for toddlers, a washing machine, a drying rack, a vacuum cleaner, an oven, a microwave, as well as an additional refrigerator with freezer compartment at your disposal.
We have also thought of your four-legged friends. A medium-sized basket and a feeding station are available for them.
Internet access via Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. Directly in front of the house, there are 2 parking spaces, further parking options are available in the entrance area of the complex.

Location and surroundings of object
Our beautiful house is located in the 5 star plus park Zeeland Village in Scharendijke near Renesse. The facility is specially designed for families with children and sporty active holidaymakers. In the main building of the park there is a swimming pool, which is free of charge for the tenants of our house (opening hours see Roompot Reception). In the immediate vicinity there is a supermarket PLUS, which is also open on Sundays, as well as a bicycle rental in the village. The Grevelingermeer, 500 m away from the house, is known as the cleanest saltwater lake in Europe. The North Sea beaches can be reached after km. Between these two seas lies the Brouwersdam, next to it you will find miles of dunes and the most beautiful North Sea beaches. Parking at Brouwerdam is free of charge.
Scharendijke is situated on Schouwen-Duiveland, popular for its dunes and wide sandy beaches. This former island with the seaside resorts Renesse, Burgh-Haamstede and the picturesque town of Zierikzee is surrounded by excellent swimming water. By bike you can reach both the North Sea and the lively town of Renesse via cycle paths. You can drive past Renesse through the dunes on beautiful shell paths to Burgh-Haamstede and further through the Oosterscheldekering, explore the nature reserve Kwade Hoek near Ouddorp, or visit the small towns of Brouwershaven, Veere, Bruinisse and Zierikzee.
Scharendijke is an ideal starting point for all kinds of water sports (kite-, surf- and diving paradise), for beautiful bike tours to the beach or simply to experience the sea air and nature. In Scharendijke, the enchanting beaches of Schouwen Duiveland begin with a length of more than 21 km. Rides on the beach can be booked at a nearby riding stable.

House
The house generally has a good standard of furnishings. Everything as described. Kitchen and dishes clean. But unfortunately, the house was not very clean. Pet hair on the sofa. Blankets and pillows in the living area were dirty. Floors not clean. Bath mat in the upper bathroom very dirty. Many small spiders. Curtains dirty. The quality of the mattresses could be better. Even in the actually nice outdoor area, everything seemed a bit neglected. Too bad.

Insbesondere die Kommentare zur Sauberkeit haben wir intensiv mit unserem Reinigungsdienst besprochen und werden in Zukunft besonderen Wert auf die von Ihnen kritisierten Bereiche legen.
Was uns etwas irritiert ist der Umstand, dass Sie diese Kritik leider nicht direkt an uns gerichtet haben, sondern den Umweg über diese Bewertung gewählt haben, obwohl wir ja zu Beginn Ihres Urlaubs mehrfach miteinander telefoniert hatten.
Auch das Thema Hundehaare und Schmuddeigkeit können wir nicht wirklich nachvollziehen, da vor Ihnen wochenlang keine Hunde im Haus waren und uns von der Seite auch keine Beschwerden erreicht haben.
Zudem ist das gesamte Haus vor 2 Jahren komplett renoviert worden, inkl. neuer Betten und Vorhänge.
Trotz allem nehmen wir Ihre Kritik sehr ernst, da sie sicher einen Grund hat und wir uns für unsere Gäste stets verbessern wollen.

Perfect for a family holiday
The accommodation is the perfect place for a family holiday. The large garden is particularly beautiful, especially in good weather there is plenty of space for games with the whole family. Thanks to the covered terrace, this can also be enjoyed in rainy weather. The communication with the landlord was also smooth and uncomplicated - we are thrilled all around :-)
We had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed the time very much!!! I would book the accommodation again at any time.

Schönes Haus
The house is located in a beautiful holiday park at Roompot Zeeland Village. The furnishings differ slightly from the pictures as there is a new couch and new dining chairs available. We personally liked it even better than in the pictures. The kitchen is equipped with the basic necessities, and the cleanliness was okay.
