Description
The first of our three beach houses on the western beach of Grossenbrode in the bungalow village of Orthfeld.
Even in winter you can almost sit in the garden through the 4m sliding element and in summer you can hear the waves and seagulls in the west wind. it's a 3-minute walk to the beach, where your four-legged friend can run free and the surf/kite board can go into the water
Maritime interior of brushed solid wood, grey rattan, Italian stone countertop (chosen on site) and handmade solid wood vanity, dining table & coffee table of steel and knotty elm, real wood parquet flooring as well as 2 bathrooms ( one of them as bath en suite from the masterbedroom) . Walk-in rain showers and underfloor and wall heating. Washing machine.
We love good beds: that's why ours are equipped with barrel pocket spring mattresses and the highest quality toppers from Dormabell. You rest in a 1.80m rattan bed or in 2 hotel box spring beds with a total size of 180*200.
WLAN, flatscreen, radio/CD and Boose bluetooth provide the technology, the handmade fireplace and the cosy sofa create the comfort in the living area.
Our kitchen leaves nothing to be desired, the Delonghi fully automatic coffee machine delivers barista-worthy cappucino & co.
For us, living indoors and outdoors is part of our holiday: that's why our jetsam stands freely in a large garden with a large charcoal grill and herb bed, 2 large dining tables on the large south or smaller west terrace offer sun or shade depending on your taste.
And finally, relaxation and wellness is not neglected with an outdoor sauna and shower. Menthol crystals and sauna fragrance oils are always included. Grab a blanket and relax on one of the loungers to pass the time until your next sauna session.
150m of private path separate us from the "dogs also allowed in summer beach".
Dogs are allowed at the Treibgut, but please give us information about their breed (or size and weight).
Our property is enclosed with hedges but not completely fenced. A parking space for up to 2 cars is on the property.
(as we are constantly renovating even with a (now) 4 year old house to keep the status "new", our driftwood including sauna is now glazed grey and the patio table has been replaced with a large concrete table)

Location and surroundings of object
We are located on the narrow headland off Fehmarn and have practically "island weather". The house is 200m from the west beach via a private path. No beach chairs but kiting , surfing & dogs allowed at the beach also in summer. If you are looking for peace & relaxation, this is the right place for you.

Great holiday home with a view of the sea in a quiet location, ideal for families.
We were here for the first time. Nothing was missing. Very nice holiday home close to the beach, quiet location with everything you need. We have recovered well. Thank you to the Rimbeck Igler family for making it possible to arrive a day earlier. We will definitely come back again.

Perfect
The house, the furnishings, the location, and the reception were perfect. It was a great short vacation and we felt very comfortable. If you are looking for some peace and quiet and no hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place to be! We would come back anytime.

Holiday at its best
Strandhaus Treibgut is a dream house where nothing is missing.
We felt very comfortable from the first minute. When the wind and the weather have their moods, you enjoy the cosiness by the fireplace, the tasteful furnishings with the loving accessories and the view of the terrace/garden/pond from the panorama door or you fire up the sauna in the garden. You can enjoy the sun all day long on first-class loungers. The beach is only a stone's throw away, a dream for dogs and kite surfing.
