Detached bungalow for 6 people in a quiet edge location of Villapark Residenz (next to the holiday park de Krim), Texel. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sauna, fireplace, and free WiFi, with an e-charging station directly at the house.
Ground floor: Hallway with wardrobe, bedroom with 2 single beds, bathroom with walk-in shower and sauna, separate WC
Cozy living room with fireplace, patio doors to the sunny terrace and garden. Open kitchen and dining room. Storage room with washing machine and dryer. First floor: Two bedrooms, one with access to a large roof terrace. Second WC with washing facilities.
Garden: Protected, fenced, and sunny garden with 2 terraces. Wind-protected southwest—on the second terrace behind the house, new lounge furniture invites you to relax. In front of the house, 2 parking spaces are available to you.

Location and surroundings of object
Our holiday home is located in the north of the sunny island of Texel, near the village of De Cocksdorp. Texel averages 2,046 hours of sunshine per year, making it the sunniest place in the Netherlands! By comparison, Germany averages only 1,601 hours of sunshine.
The holiday park De Krim offers you and your children many leisure facilities. The indoor and outdoor swimming pool with its 3 water slides can be used for a fee. During school holidays, an animation team organizes various activities. De Krim has various restaurants offering everything from breakfast to à la carte menus. For daily shopping, a supermarket is also available in the center of the holiday park.
On the wonderful 30 km long sandy beach of Texel, you can still find secluded spots even in the high season. On the island’s beaches you can learn surfing, kitesurfing, wave riding, and catamaran sailing. Numerous beach cafes invite you to linger after an excursion. Our favorites near the holiday home are the beach cafes “Paal 28” and “Cap Noord.” There is also a “hot spot” for surf anglers at “Paal 28.”
For bird and nature lovers, the “Dunes of Texel” National Park, the Wadden Sea coast, and the salt marshes are a must! Worthwhile excursion destinations include Utopia, de Slufter, de Mui, de Schorren, de Horsmeertjes, to name just a few. Here, with a bit of luck, you can also observe the rare spoonbill – the namesake of our holiday home.
Texel offers cyclists and hikers a large network of paths that leads you for hundreds of kilometers along old dikes, through forests and dunes across the island. A visit to the "island capital" Den Burg or one of the six other picturesque island villages is highly recommended. Texel is a paradise for dogs. At most beaches and in many forest areas your dog may run free. Please observe the signs.

First vacation home
The holiday home more than met our expectations. Great location and well maintained. Many extras, such as a washing machine and dryer. Sufficient cutlery, etc. The cottage was clean and bright. Nice sanitary facilities.

Top House
We spent our vacation from August 4, 2025, to August 8, 2025, in this wonderful house.
The location is great, very quiet, perfect for relaxing. Perfect amenities, including a sauna, everything top-notch.
Our dogs also felt very comfortable. They could easily stay on the fenced property. We will definitely be repeat visitors.

Beautiful house with good facilities
We spent a week on holiday with our dogs. It is a very nice house, comfortably furnished and also well equipped. The garden is completely fenced in so that our dogs could move around freely. The sauna also offers enough space for 3 people. We say THANK YOU for this great accommodation and would be happy to recommend it to others.

It couldn't be better
Perfect. There is no better description for the house. It is super furnished, you immediately feel at home. The sauna sweetened some rainy days for us. The house has a quiet location, but still close enough to the center. The beach is also easily accessible on foot. All in all... we would love to come back here.
