Cosy holiday home close to the beach in North Holland
only 900m from the beach lies the quiet park Duinland, between Alkmaar and Den Helder.
Our light-flooded holiday home "Moyo's Home" is located at the outer edge of the park.
The holiday home with 55 m² is completely furnished for up to 4 persons. Parking is close to the house. The complete window fronts of the bedroom, living room and kitchen lead onto the terrace which cannot be seen.
The approx. 200 m² large garden is child- and animal-friendly and completely secured with a m high fence and a lockable garden gate. The garden gate leads to a footpath around the park, which is also ideal for a small walk if you can't go to the beautiful beach with the dogs.
Due to the angle construction of the holiday home, the terrace is protected from the views of others and leaves plenty of room for privacy. To the back a huge colourful tulip field joins the park.
In the morning, let yourself be awakened by the first sunbeams of the day in the spacious bedroom, which fall in through the almost floor-to-ceiling windows. The fully equipped kitchen leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy a tasty breakfast with a view through the bright window front onto the wonderful garden or in fine weather directly on the large terrace.
The park is only separated from the beautiful dunes by the Westerduin Trail. You can reach the wide sandy beach by walking through the dunes in about 10-15 minutes. The beach is also called "silver coast" by the Dutch, because of the colour of the sand.
But not only beach lovers get their money's worth in Sint Maartenszee. Hiking and nature lovers can enjoy the nature reserves "Zwanenzee" (swan water) and "Het Wildrijk", known for their wild hyacinths. Sports enthusiasts can make beautiful bike tours, go fishing, fly a kite or do a jogging tour through the fantastic dunes.
Otherwise, the park offers children several beautiful playgrounds, table tennis, a real football field and a tennis court.

For years the beach of St. Maartenszee has had the blue flag, an exclusive eco-label. This means that the water is guaranteed to be clean and safe and that the beach is cleaned daily. The coastal section between Den Helder and St. Maartenszee has the most hours of sunshine in Holland. In the north of North Holland there is less rain and the sun shines more often than in other parts of the country. The nearby nature reserve "Het Zwanenwater" with the largest dune lake in Europe and the beautiful polder landscape with its colourful flower and tulip fields as well as ideal fishing waters invite you to explore.
You can make wonderful excursions by bicycle. Due to its central location, St. Maartenszee is an ideal starting point for day trips. In the immediate vicinity there are interesting excursion destinations such as Alkmaar (the cheese market every Friday in the season), Schagen (West Frisian market, in summer on ten Thursdays) or the clothing villages Volendam and Marken. The historic Zuiderzee cities of Hoorn, Medemblik and Enkhuizen are also well worth a visit
The town of Den Helder (only about 20 km away) not only has the marina and a historic fort worth seeing, but also offers excellent shopping opportunities. From there, the car ferry leaves for Texel several times a day within a few minutes. Your holiday home Park Duinland, Westerduinenweg 34 is located in the middle of this versatile holiday landscape.

At the beach of Sint Maartenszee there is fine white sand as far as the dog's eye can reach. In North Holland, the four-legged friend enjoys a pure beach feeling. Whether digging for shells, swimming in the North Sea or just snoozing at your side - your dog will be at the dog's beach

The four-legged friends may run here from - of 9 - 19 o'clock only on the leash at the beach. Outside these times the dogs may move freely.
The following applies to all Dutch dog beaches: - the "legacy" of your dog must be removed immediately. Therefore, when visiting the beach with your beloved four-legged friend, do not forget the dog excrement bag and possibly a small shovel.
Excluded from this are the dunes, where all dogs have to be kept on a leash. Sometimes you also come across
Scottish highland cattle, which move freely in the fenced dune area. It is not always easy to maintain the recommended distance of 25m.

In the dune area there is a dog run area, in which the four-legged friends can move freely after heart desire. The area is fenced on one side and secured with a dense hedge on the other. Great holiday home with fantastic amenities and a beautiful garden.
We spent a week in April with our dog as guests in Mrs. Schatz's holiday home. The location, facilities, and contact with the landlady were excellent. We felt very comfortable, as did our dog, who especially enjoyed the fenced garden. The holiday home has everything you need for daily needs and self-catering. The location is close to nature and very quiet, yet you are quickly in the neighboring villages where you can eat well and shop. A small supermarket is within walking distance, as are the dunes and the beautiful sandy beach. We would vacation there again anytime and can recommend the accommodation with a clear conscience to everyone.

Pure relaxation in a fantastic location
We stayed in this bungalow for 1 week, which is very quiet in the back row. We felt very comfortable, everything we needed was available, and especially the high fenced garden was just great for us as vacationers with a dog. Walking through the park, crossing the street, and walking through the dunes, you reach a kilometer-long sandy beach that invites you to long walks. All in all, we can recommend this accommodation and we will definitely come back.

Winter break
Nice holiday home, great equipped. We spent a few days there with our dogs. We all liked it very much and the dogs could play well in the fenced garden. Everything is available that you need. The beds are great, even German TV program is available. We will gladly come back!

We have been in this area several times. The weather was changeable. One small disadvantage of the house is that you cannot park directly in front of it. Not optimal for me with my mobility impairment. Cleanliness and equipment were okay. The only point of criticism was the bathroom, it might need an update.

Nice vacation cottage
The holiday home is located in a quiet holiday park. Particularly noteworthy is the fenced and non-visible garden, with direct access to the water and greenery. From there, you could easily start all bike tours or walks.
The house was equipped with everything you need for daily needs.
The contact with the landlady was flawless, problem-free and personal. Questions were answered very quickly and we were completely satisfied.
We would recommend both the landlady and the house at any time and would also spend our holidays there more often.

Very cozy holiday home
We had been guests at Mrs. Schatz's very cozy holiday home for the 2nd year. The house offers everything your heart desires: a large double bed with good mattresses, a small fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, a living/dining room with a leather sofa and a television, a small children's room with 2 beds, and a small shower room. Not to mention the small fully fenced garden and a terrace with a table and four chairs. Bicycles and a grill are available for use in a separate storage room.
Since we felt very comfortable there last year and our 2 dogs couldn't escape through the approximately 1.40-meter high fence, we decided to stay in Sint Maartenszee again. The process was uncomplicated, and Mrs. Schatz promptly refunded the security deposit.
We can definitely highly recommend the holiday home and will certainly not be there for the last time.

Very relaxed vacation in Holland
Very clean and nicely furnished holiday home. Garden and terrace not visible from the outside. Very quiet due to its location on the edge of the park. The kitchen is very well equipped, ideal for vacationers who exclusively self-cater. The very good mattresses in the bedrooms are particularly worth mentioning. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back!

Beautiful holiday home near the beach
We had a very nice time in the cosy and well-equipped holiday home - the park is pleasant and quiet, the fenced garden perfect for a holiday with dog and child. The beach is about 15 minutes walk through the dunes, a small supermarket is also within walking distance.

Wir kommen gerne wieder
Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Urlaub im Ferienhaus von Frau Schatz. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichteten verfügt sogar über elektrische Rollläden, was bei den Temperaturen in diesem Sommer sehr angenehm war. Außerdem ist es sehr sauber. Der Garten ist komplett eingezäunt, was eine Reise mit Hund sehr angenehm macht. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei Hunden dort und haben uns wie immer sehr wohl in Sint Maartenszee und im Haus von Frau Schatz gefühlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die gute Betreuung.

Erholung pur
Das Ferienhaus liegt am Rand des Parkes. Dadurch besonders ruhig, obwohl es im Park nie laut war.
Im Haus ist alles notwendige vorhanden. Vorallem das Schlafzimmer verdient 5 Sterne. Schön groß und die Betten superbequem. Wenn dann noch morgend die Sonne durch die Fenster schien, besser konnte man nicht geweckt werden. Die Terrasse ist durch 3 Seiten zu. Unser Hund hat sich gleich wohlgefühlt und man brauchte nicht aufpassen das er wegläuft, denn das komplette Grundstück ist umzäumt und es kann auch keiner reingucken.Der Supermarkt ist bequem in 10 Min. zu erreichen, der Stand durch die Dünen per Fuß in 30 Min. Obwohl wir schon 3x in dieser Gegend waren werden wir nächstes Jahr wiederkommen, aber nur wenn wir das haus von Frau Schatz mieten können.

Ruhe und Erholung
Wir waren mit unserem Hund Anfang Juni bei Frau Schatz. Die Lage direkt am Rand ist traumhaft, ein Weg führt direkt vom Gartentor dorthin. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten während des Urlaubs schnellen und hilfsbereiten Kontakt mit Frau Schatz da wir leider eine Reparatur melden mussten. Das Problem wurde aber sofort behoben. Von daher auch eine zuverlässige und freundliche Reaktion von Frau Schatz. Wir würden diese Unterkunft immer weiter empfehlen. Der Zuweg ist für Fahrräder ideal, die Betten waren auch sehr gut.Die Jalousien waren auch sehr praktisch. Der Hund fühlte sich sehr wohl im umzäunten Garten. Ein traumhaft schönes Ferienhaus
Ich kann nur sagen das Ferienhaus ist spitze, es fehlte nichts .Die Wohnung war super sauber.
Man fühlte sich sofort zu Hause. Unser kleiner Cairn Terrier war von dem komplett eingezäuntem Grundstück begeistert, er konnte so wie er gerne wollte.
Wir haben es genossen auf die Terrasse zu gehen und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Wir waren begeistert von der Ruhe . Wir brauchten um zu dem herrlichen Strand zu kommen das Auto nicht anfassen. Ein schöner Spaziergang durch die Natur Dünen und nach 10 -15 Minuten war man an der Nordsee. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war vorbildlich. Wir kommen bestimmt nochmal wieder.
Wir möchten uns hiermit nochmal für die schöne Woche bedanken.

So macht Urlaub Spass
Das ist ein super schönes Ferienhaus. Es ist alles da, was man für einen schönen Aufenthalt und Urlaub braucht. Das Ferienhaus hat einen tollen Garten dabei, der komplett eingezäunt ist und eine von aussen nicht einsehbare Terasse. Für unsere beiden Fellnasen ideal. Und sehr ruhiggelegen. Die Innenausstattung ist auch super und in den Betten schläft man sehr gut. Wenige Gehminuten ist ein kleiner Sparmarkt, der sehr gut ausgestattet ist und jeden Morgen frische Backwaren anbietet. Das Meer erreicht man auch sehr gut zu Fuss. Ca. 10- 15 Minuten. Also wir haben schon wieder für das nächste Jahr gebucht..

Top von Anfang bis Ende
Vorweg noch einmal ein ganz herzliches Danke für die problemlose Erledigung sämtlicher Formalitäten unserer kurzfristige Ferienhausbuchung durch die super nette und engagierte Vermieterin. Es hat alle gut funktioniert und auch die übersandten Infos zum Haus und dem Park etc. waren für uns sehr hilfreich.
Das Haus entspricht der im Internet angegebenen Beschreibung und ist sehr gemütlich und ansprechend ausgestattet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man für einen erholsamen Ferienhausurlaub braucht. Besonders der Gasherd mit Backofen/Mikrowellenfunktion hat mich als Hobbykoch begeistert. Die Lage am Parkrand ist sehr ruhig und man ist schnell im "Grünen". Super für unseren Hund, der es sich auch im eingezäunten Garten gemütlich gemacht hatte. Der Weg durch den Park zum Strand und Dünenbereich ist schnell zu schaffen. Für Hundebesitzer/Gassigeher ist eine größere Taschenlampe (Park sehr dunkel) und die Mitnahme von Kottütchen sinnvoll.
Alles in allem eine sehr zu empfehlende Urlaubsunterkunft. Für einen zukünftigen Urlaub, dann vielleicht mit unseren beiden Enkeln, von uns bereits vorgemerkt! Wir kommen gerne noch einmal wieder.

Unterkunft Bewertung
Wir haben uns in dem gemütlich eingerichteten Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war alles sehr sauber. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sehr schöne Küche mit allen Utensilien die man zum kochen benötigt. Sehr schön ist das eingezäunte Grundstück. Man hat dort absolut seine Privatsphäre. Wir können es mit gutem gewissen weiter empfehlen.

Kann man nur weiter empfehlen
Wir waren jetzt das 2. Mal in diesem schönen Ferienhaus alles war sauber.Es hat uns wiedermal an nichts gefehlt.Die neue Küche ist komplett eingerichtet mit allem was man braucht. Unsere Enkelin hat es auch gefallen . Sowie unserem Hund der schöne Garten.Sehr nette Vermieterin und wir kommen auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder.

Ein Service kann nicht beurteilt werden, da wir mit dem Park keinen Kontakt hatten. Im Park selbst könnte mehr Licht sein, das wäre sicherer. Die vorhandenen Lampen sind sehr schwach. Die Betreuung durch die Vermieterin ist sehr gut. Sollten sich Fragen ergeben, ist sie jederzeit ansprechbar.
Das Ferienhaus ist ideal für Urlaub mit Hund/en, da das Grundstück komplett eingezäunt ist.
Auch die Ausstattung des Hauses ist modern und gemütlich sowie praktisch und pflegeleicht.

So stelle ich mir das vor !
...dann kann man auch entspannt Urlaub machen.
Schnelle, zuverlässige und sehr freundliche Abwicklung der Formalitäten,
ein schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage (selbst während der Saison),
gute Ausstattung (inkl. WLan), schöner Garten, relativ kurze Wege zum Strand.
Mehr brauchts nicht.
Das die örtlichen "Reinigungskräfte" (nach jedem Mieterwechsel) einen nur als
"unterirdisch" zu bezeichnenden Job machen, ist nicht dem Vermieter anzukreiden.
Da ist dann halt Eigeninitiative gefragt. Guter Staubsauger ist ja vorort, genauso wie
alles was man zum Wischen benötigt.
Dieser nicht optimale Sachverhalt hält uns aber nicht davon ab, weiterhin dieses Haus zu mieten !
Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Erholsamer Urlaub

Ein tolles Haus !
Das Ferienhaus ist perfekt ausgestattet, es gab nichts, was uns gefehlt hat. Der Platz ist super genutzt und die Hunde haben sich im Garten sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Meer erreicht man nach einem 15 minütigen Spaziergang durch ein wunderschönes Dünengebiet.
Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr nett und unkompliziert. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Top!
Schönes Haus und toller kleiner, eingezäunter Garten.. Wir (mein Mann und ich sowie unser Labrador) haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt... uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Durch die Dünenlandschaft kann man toll mit dem Hund laufen und kommt dann nach ca. 1 km an den nicht überfüllten Sandstrand.. Einkaufsladen für das Nötigste und zum Brötchen holen ist fussläufig in der Nähe... gerne kommen wir wieder, völlig unkompliziert und sehr nette Vermieterin ... eins noch... die Matratzen sind echt der Hammer, so gut geschlafen hab ich lange nicht ... dafür extra 5 Sterne

Ruhe und Erholung pur
Alles was Mann, Frau und Hund so wünscht. Alles sauber und gemütlich. Betten purer Traum.
Wäre noch schöner wenn die Terrasse überdacht wäre. Ansonsten war alles sehr schön. Vielen Dank für die unkomplizierte Abwicklung.
