Holiday in the Upper Harz on the outskirts of Altenau in the OberharzerWasserwirtschaft, surrounded by forests, streams, ponds and dams.
Hikes can be started directly from the holiday home to the Brocken or to the Okerteich
The Okerteich open-air swimming pool (free of charge) invites you to swim in Altenau or the Kristall-Therme spa for wellness and saunas

The holiday home is located on the outskirts of Altenau
Butcher's shop/baker's shop/grocery shop are approx. 800 m away from the holiday home and are located in the village, these can also be reached on foot.
Hikes can start directly at the house, the Brocken is approx. 17km away, the Okertalsperre only 2km or you can make a trip to the largest herb park in Europe, which is located in Altenau. Or go for a walk in the Oberharzer Wasserwirtschaft
The Okterteich open-air swimming pool is 2 km away and the Kristall-Therme Altenau 1.6 km.
Culturally, the surroundings offer something for everyone, stalactite caves, mines or the imperial palace in

Parking directly at the holiday home, dogs (whether 1 or more) are welcome and holiday with us free of charge!
High chair and baby cot, children's crockery and cutlery are available in the house.
Games for young and old are also there for a change, such as table tennis, boccia, ball, badminton set, croquet, darts, books, card games and a few board games can be found in the house.
A table soccer for the big "kids" is available in the gallery for a match in between.
A barbecue and large fire bowl invite you to enjoy a cosy get-together on the terrace.

Dog hiking holiday
A super house, top location for hikers with a dog. The house was exactly as described, everything listed was available, super clean inside and outside. Our dog felt very comfortable in his own area with access to the stream (insisted on going in again every evening).
Landlord friendly and helpful.
