Description
This beautiful holiday home from 1897 is located in Altenau in the Oberharz region. The Okerhuis with its large garden is situated at an altitude of 500 m and borders on "den Oker". The house is ideally situated in the beautiful village of Altenau, within walking distance of cafés and restaurants. Directly from the house there are many possibilities for hiking, cycling and mountain biking.
The Okerhaus has a total of 6 double rooms with bathroom and is suitable for a maximum of 16 people
We serve the 3-course menu from Monday to Friday.
The whole house can also be rented as group accommodation for up to 16 people.
It is also possible for groups to order dinner and/or breakfast from Monday to Friday (all vegetarian)
The Okerhaus has Netflix and free Wi-Fi.

The Okerhaus in the Harz Mountains
With its vast forests, steep mountains and deep valleys with wild rivers, reservoirs and cliffs, the Harz is a unique nature reserve, home to many rare plants and animals. Traditionally an ideal holiday destination, both in summer and winter, with an extensive network of hiking and cycling trails with 74 mountain bike routes and UNESCO World Heritage Sites (both industrial and medieval towns and castles).
In winter you can go skiing, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Only 200 metres from Das Okerhaus is the "Tourist Office", where you can find all the information about the Harz Mountains and activities.
Further down the same street you will find cosy restaurants serving delicious (vegetarian) dishes , and like everywhere in the Harz at reasonable prices.

Bei Stornierungen, die weniger als 7 Tage vor Check-in vorgenommen werden, bekommen Sie nichts zurückerstattet. Bei Code rot in Ihrer oder unserer Region können Sie aufgrund von Corona bis zum letzten kostenlos stornieren.
