Description

The newly renovated 4.5 room holiday home is located above the quayside in Porto Ronco and offers a breathtaking 180 ° panoramic view. It offers 100m2 of living space on two levels. Entrance with staircase to the living area. The living room is equipped with a cozy living area, flat screen TV and dining table with 6 chairs, and another sofa. The continuous, large window front of the living room guarantees a view from every corner. Especially in the evening, the indirect lighting along the window front and the sparkling lake shore of Ascona conjures a very special atmosphere. The open kitchen is equipped with a breakfast bar and modern appliances. On this level there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and another bathroom. From the living room you can access the terrace and pool area. Take a seat and enjoy the unique view of the Brissago Islands directly in front of you. Another double bedroom and a small children's room with bunk beds is located on the lower floor. A car park is available. A diagonal lift leads directly to the front door of the house.

The newly built heated infinity pool, 8 m x 4 m, (heated until the end of October) is equipped with a countercurrent system and a water nozzle. In the evening the pool lighting offers a very special atmosphere. The terrace is equipped with a cosy lounge and a dining table. Deck chairs are available.

In Porto Ronco you will find restaurants and a bakery, as well as the bus stop and the boat pier to the Brissago Islands, to Ascona, Brissago and neighboring Italy. In Ronco sopra Ascona at the church square, about 5 minutes away by car, there is a small shop. Shopping offers Locarno, Ascona or the center Mercato Cattori in Losone or the center COOp in Tenero, which is best reached by car. The border with Italy is only a few kilometers away. Canobbio with its typical Italian market on Sundays can be reached in about 20 minutes by car. To swim in the lake you will find about 50 m from the parking lot in the direction of Porto Ronco a small beach with sunbathing area and barbecue area.

Porto Ronco, a district of the picturesque village of Ronco sopra Ascona is best known for his idyllic lakeside location, directly opposite the famous Brissago Islands. We were here for the second time because of the sensational view over the lake, especially beautiful from the heated infinity pool. It’s very pleasant to have the warm shower on the terrace after swimming. There’s a nice covered seating area on the terrace, a very well-equipped kitchen; we didn't miss anything, and we've already booked again for next year.

A beautiful vacation home with an amazing view! The outdoor area with an infinity pool invites you to linger. The house is well-equipped; nothing is missing in the kitchen. The furnishings are very well-maintained. Since there is no sidewalk directly leading to Ascona, one depends on the bus or a car. Unfortunately, there are few options for walking dogs away from the house, as there are hardly any green areas or suitable paths. All in all, however, a beautiful vacation residence that provides unforgettable moments. We would be happy to come back.

Very beautifully situated holiday home with a fantastic view of the Brissago Islands. There is an elevator leading up, but you can also access the entrance from the outside via a staircase. Reserved parking spaces are available at the bottom of Via Cantonale. Everything is very clean, especially the kitchen area is very well-maintained. We were two people in the house and therefore had all imaginable space. The owners are very nice and friendly. You obviously care a lot about the equipment and modernity of the property. The process with Fewotessin went smoothly, and the fees for cleaning, mediation, and support are appropriate. In the apartment, there were many goodies from kitchen paper, dish soap, hand soap to Nespresso capsules that we didn't expect. We will really miss the panoramic view through the very clean windows.

The house on the hill in Porto Ronco has a breathtaking view that you can enjoy from the infinity pool. Perfect for relaxing. Those who prefer a more central location with easy walking or biking access might feel a bit isolated. The road below the house is not as nice, but bearable. The house is ideal for relaxing with friends or family and leaves nothing to be desired. Since it was very hot during our stay, an air conditioning unit in the bedroom would have been nice, but there is one in the living room. The house is equipped with everything you need. We often used the gas grill. We also met the landlord who was very friendly and very interested in making sure his guests had everything they needed. Wonderful! We would love to come back!

If you prefer a more central location with easy walking or cycling, you might feel a bit cut off. The road below the house is not quite as nice, but bearable. The house is ideal for relaxing with friends or family and leaves nothing to be desired. As it was very hot in our house, an air conditioner in the bedroom would not have been bad, there is one in the living room. The house is equipped with everything you need. We often used the gas barbecue. We also got to know the landlord. He was very friendly and very interested in his guests not wanting for anything. Wonderful! We will be happy to come back!
