HYGGE goes beyond simply describing coziness. It is an attitude towards life that invites one to pause, focus on the essentials, and create an environment that radiates security. This concept has its roots in Danish culture and is closely linked to the Scandinavian way of life. You can find all this with us and much more. . . . Because HYGGE is also a new holiday home on the beautiful Dümmer Lake in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Scandinavian design paired with sophisticated interiors and technical highlights surrounded by nature. Whether in summer for splashing and bathing, rowing boat rides and fishing, or in winter for wellness with sauna and fireplace - here you can certainly relax and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Wi-Fi included.
In our holiday home, there are always various spices, salt and pepper, as well as olive oil and vinegar, coffee and filters, dish soap and tabs. Furthermore, you will find plenty of candles and tealights for coziness and for the first few days also toilet paper and some firewood during the cold season. If you have booked a linen package, your beds will be made upon arrival. And of course, we welcome our guests with a nice welcome basket filled with treats from the region ;-)

The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically located for excursions to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. Wittenburg is about 10 km away with its indoor ski hall, quad track and a great adventure playground. For children, there is an adventure nature trail only 500 m from the holiday home.
You can fish on the lake with the house's own rowing boat - it's only about 80 m to the lake.
For a bicycle tour on the well-developed cycle paths of the region, you can rent bicycles on site.
In the village you will find a children's playground, a bakery that is open on Sundays and a kebab and pizza snack bar.
The Alpincenter in Wittenburg is within easy reach by bike (12 km). There you will find leisure facilities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, a go-kart and quad track, a high ropes course with adventure playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various gastronomic facilities.
In Zachun (20km) you can also use the possibility of a water ski facility.
Our beautiful state capital - the 'City of the Seven Lakes', offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'White Fleet' on Lake Schwerin.
The historic old town with its castle, theatre and museums is also worth seeing.
Fancy a spot of shopping? No problem, Schwerin's city centre offers you a wide range of shopping opportunities. Have fun exploring.
The Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg and the Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Hamburg can be reached in about 1 hour.

| Linen package = 18,00 € (bed linen, small and large towel, tea towels) Bicycle rental on site and subject to availability. Please note that the boat is only available from May to mid-October. NO RENTAL TO YOUTH GROUPS AND ALL-MALE GROUPS! RENTAL CONDITIONS: 1) Unless otherwise agreed, the rental period begins at 16:00 on the day of arrival and ends at 10:00 on the day of departure. For the calculation of the rent, the day of arrival counts as a whole day, the day of departure will not be charged. The landlord is obliged to pay compensation to the guest if the accommodation is not provided, except in the case of prevention due to force majeure. 2) The rented property may not be occupied by more persons than agreed in the rental contract without special permission. The tenant is liable for all damages caused during his rental period. In the event of complaints and damage, the lessor must be notified immediately. 3) There is an internet connection in your booked property. By paying the rental fee, you confirm that you will not make any illegal/chargeable downloads and/or visit illegal/chargeable sites. The use of the internet is at your own risk. No liability in case of technical problems. 4) The takeover of the unchanged rental agreement by third parties is possible, but requires the express consent of the lessor. The taking over tenant enters into the existing contract and is liable alongside the main tenant as joint and several debtor for the rental price and the additional costs arising from the entry of the third party. 5) Please note that pets are not allowed in your booked property. 6) The tenant can withdraw from the rental contract at any time before the day of arrival. In any case, a message in text form to the landlord is required. For evidence purposes - in particular the date of receipt by the landlord - we recommend a registered letter (however, this is not necessary for the effectiveness of the withdrawal). In the event of cancellation, the lessor is entitled to charge a flat-rate cancellation fee according to the following scale: up to 30 days before the date of arrival 20% of the contract price 29 to 22 days before the date of arrival 60% of the contract price 21 days or more before the date of arrival 100% of the contract price less services not used Cancellation during the stay 100% of the contract price The date of receipt of the notice in text form (or registered letter) by the landlord is decisive, even in the case of cancellation announced by telephone. We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance or travel interruption insurance to protect the tenant against the cancellation fee! In the event of a cancellation, the landlord will attempt to re-let the rented property on the same terms and conditions and reserves the right to deduct any rent thus obtained from the cancellation fee in favour of the tenant, subject to a processing fee. |

Very beautiful days in Dümmer
It is a very beautiful house in a nice location. It is modern and practically furnished and has a great equipment. Cleanliness was top and everything needed was available. Despite the mixed weather, we explored the surroundings, such as Schwerin Castle, the open-air museum, or the ice cream factory. A visit to the Historical Train Station is also recommended, as well as to Seeidylle or Scharfe Kurve. Many thanks to the landlords Zoll, also for the great welcome basket. Family Lorenz/3 Adults

Favorite place
We were allowed to be guests again at our beloved lake in the beautiful holiday home of the Zoll family, this time for almost two weeks. It was very nice, just like last year, and exactly right for our needs. We would have preferred to stay. Many thanks to the Zoll family, and we hope that we can be guests there again.

Best house in the holiday village at Dümmer Lake! ????
What does it take for a really good vacation?
→ Relaxation, peace, nature, a tasteful accommodation, loving hosts
… and of course a bit of “Hygge”.
All of that – and much more – we have once again found with the Zoll family in the wonderful vacation home HYGGE.
This is now our fourth time here – and it feels a little like coming home every time.
The coziest house by the lake with the old trees in the garden enchants us every time. Hygge is furnished with so much love for detail and offers everything one wishes for a relaxed break.
Whether on the terrace, in the garden, while swimming in the lake, or on a bike tour through the surroundings – here one recharges, switches off, and enjoys.
Once again, everything was there:
• an idyllic lake within walking distance
• pure peace & nature
• great amenities
• relaxed coziness
• warm, attentive hosts
• happy children (especially with the SUPs! )
• …and even a local welcome package?
More "HYGGE" really isn't possible.

Very cozy
