Description

Even the smallest guests are taken care of with colorful children's dishes and two high chairs. A stair gate is available.

For a cozy, warm feeling, in addition to the heating, there is a comfortable fireplace in the living room. The sofa area invites you, for example, to game nights (board games are available in the house). The media equipment in the living room on the ground floor and upper floor includes, in addition to two digital TVs with Waipu Stick for access to the Waiputhek with more than 40,000 films including... The house includes a covered terrace with garden furniture, a swing, and a garden shed. Here you will find, among other things, the Weber charcoal grill, a small trampoline, the SUP accessories, and the oars for the rowboat, which is available free of charge to our guests from May to October. You are welcome to rent an electric motor for the boat on a weekly basis by prior arrangement, as well as 2 kayaks, while supplies last. The house also includes a free SUP including accessories from May to October. The holiday home is surrounded by a garden with lawn and flower beds. Your cars can be parked in the double parking space at the house. A hammock, the swing (max. load capacity 100kg), and a trampoline are available for your use. Parents are responsible for their children.

It is about 50m on foot to the bathing beach with sunbathing lawn by the lake. This spot is also very suitable for the smallest guests, as the water is very shallow here. Outdoor area:

Location and surroundings of object

The holiday home is located in a very small and quiet holiday home settlement directly on Lake Dümmer. Parties are not allowed here, so the peace and quiet in the midst of the nature of the protected landscape area can be fully enjoyed.

The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically well situated for excursions to, among others, Schwerin, Wismar, the Baltic Sea, Hamburg, or Ludwigslust. For children there are, among other things, only 500 m from the holiday home there is an adventure nature trail and in the village a large playground for children of all ages. For a bike tour or a hike, many beautiful and well-developed paths are available right outside your door.
There is a bakery in the village that is open on Sundays. You can purchase regional products in various farm shops, where coffee and cake are often available in the associated farm café. The nearest shopping opportunities are 5 - 10 minutes away by car in Wittenburg, Stralendorf, and Pampow.

The Alpincenter in Wittenburg (12km) is also easily accessible by bicycle. There you will find leisure activities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, go-kart and quad tracks, a high ropes course with adventure playground, an indoor playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various gastronomic facilities.

In Zachun (20km) you can also take advantage of a water ski facility.

Our beautiful state capital – the 'City of Seven Lakes' – together with the World Heritage Schwerin Castle, offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'Weiße Flotte' on Lake Schwerin.

Very beautiful holiday home

Stay in June 2026, personal card and regional refreshments from the landlord positively prepared us for our vacation. The amenities left nothing to be desired, everything for family and children was available, toys and the swing were actively used. The two bathrooms made the stay very pleasant for four people. Everything was clean, modern, and stylishly furnished. Since it is a wooden house, we first had to get used to the noises.

Very beautiful holiday home

The house is beautifully furnished inside and very clean. The terrace was sheltered and had plenty of space. The mattresses are very good and everything needed for cooking was available in the kitchen. The area was quiet for relaxing. We felt comfortable right away. Highly recommended!

Great winter getaway with wellness and skiing

We found this cozy vacation home on Instagram and wanted to try it out for our time off. We were not disappointed! From the first minute, we felt absolutely comfortable. A comfortable sofa by the fireplace, sauna and whirlpool, a well-equipped kitchen, cozy beds, lovingly chosen decor and books, and even plenty of entertainment for families with children. The fast Wi-Fi is fantastic. My personal highlight was the espresso in the morning in the armchair on the gallery with a view of the lake. Wonderful!
We took many walks through the beautiful nature around the lake, also visited Schwerin and Wismar, and went to the ski hall in Wittenburg (a great alternative to a winter holiday in the mountains).
All in all, we had a great time and can only recommend the house!

Very nice holiday home in a great location.

The holiday home truly leaves nothing to be desired. We felt at home right away. Beautiful furnishings, cozy beds, great kitchen equipment, everything very clean, fast Wi-Fi, toys for the children, a lovely garden, and very quiet location. We had a great time! The lake is just a few steps away and really nice for swimming. We have already booked for next year. Highly recommended!

Sehr schönes Ferienhaus

The vacation home is located a minute's walk from Lake Dümmer, in a beautiful holiday village. The house is very nicely furnished and lacks nothing. The washing machine seems to be rarely used and therefore looks corresponding. Before departure, we used the vacuum cleaner and maybe the bag should be changed because it did not smell good when vacuuming. These are also the only deductions. We used the boat a lot for fishing. Unfortunately, we were not aware of where the fishing spots are and did not book the electric motor in advance. Booking on-site was no longer possible. Therefore, if you are there for fishing, definitely book the electric motor in advance, otherwise you might paddle for an hour to reach the spot. Everything else was great!

Beautiful holiday home with pool and sea view.

We spent 10 days in the Seeblick house in April. We were greeted with a personal welcome and a refreshment from the region, which made us feel at home immediately. The contact with the landlady was very friendly, warm, and always available, truly exemplary. The Swedish house is a wooden house with a warm charm, the furnishings are very high quality and complete. In April, the holiday village was still very quiet, which we enjoyed very much. There are many beautiful activities to do, and there are also some suggestions in the house. The consumption billing process was very quick, but be careful with your head when reading the meter. In summary, I can wholeheartedly recommend this holiday home.

Holiday week at the Swedish house

We spent the Carnival holidays in the beautiful Swedish house and were able to enjoy the time out to the fullest. We were welcomed very warmly with a small gift and even a handwritten card, which we found very thoughtful. The house is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and lacked nothing. The facilities were upscale overall, there really was nothing to complain about. The sauna and hot tub were impeccable. We took many trips from the holiday home (Hamburg, Lübeck, Schwerin, Alpin-Center, Baltic Sea), the location is convenient. The house is located quietly on Lake Dümmer, it was very quiet due to the season. We would definitely book the Swedish house again, no matter what time of year, it is relaxing and in the middle of nature. The hostess was always available and responded immediately to questions. Check-in/out went super smoothly, all without direct contact. Well deserved 5/5 stars all around!

Holiday in Northern Germany

A very beautiful house with everything you need. You don't have a view of the lake. It would have been nice, but it wasn't a big deal. With a few steps you are at the lake, which is very beautiful. There is a stand-up paddleboard at the house and you can rent an electric motor for the boat that is also included. Definitely recommended. Enjoyed it for two weeks.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location at the beautiful Dümmer See - absolutely recommendable

I would recommend this house at any time for a break or a family holiday with children, or for two, or for a few days together with friends. There are plenty of opportunities for walks - for example, the walk around the lake and the quiet location are just right for relaxing. I was able to relax very well. The house and its furnishings are cosy, clean, everything you need is there, bright and friendly, lovingly and tastefully decorated. I immediately felt at home. I will definitely book again and look forward to being there in summer, because the sandy beach and the sunbathing lawn at the lake can be used free of charge by booking guests. The price-performance ratio is right and the very nice, helpful landlords are always available for questions and concerns.

Perfect holiday home for a wellness getaway

My husband and I rented the holiday home for a little over 2 weeks to get a break from the stressful city life. And that's what we got. The house is in a small holiday village in a very quiet location with a beautiful lake in front of the door. We even had some snow.
Special mention should be made of the cosy and lovely furnishings and of course the sauna and whirlpool, which we used extensively.
The kitchen offers everything your heart desires and is well equipped. It even has a blender, muffin tin and espresso machine.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Short time out

We spent a few days with our children in the holiday home at Lake Dümmer. The house is super equipped, with highchairs and a cot. And even games, a trampoline and cuddly toys were there for our little ones. We also liked the many suggestions for excursions from the house owners. We can recommend the Holthusen children's farm. But the best thing for the children was the lake, which is almost on the doorstep.
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen amazingly well equipped. We don't know that from other houses. We can highly recommend the house and would have liked to stay longer.

Holiday house vacation

A beautiful area to relax. Unfortunately, our vacation was not very restful. We had a construction site exactly 2 houses across. Demolition and construction work every day from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (cutting and nailing). Furthermore, lawn mowing was also often done at 8:00 p.m. Finding the peace as advertised was rarely possible. We had to leave the place. Such beautification work should be done outside the season. Water and forest invite you to relax. It would have been a nice vacation if the tranquility hadn't been disturbed.

Wir sind immer darauf bedacht, dass sich unsere Gäste während ihres Aufenthaltes wohl fühlen und eine erholsame Zeit in unserer Unterkunft verbringen. Sollten dennoch Unstimmigkeiten während eines Aufenthaltes auftreten, so tun wir alles, um vorliegende Probleme schnellstmöglich zu lösen. Hierzu sind wir aber auf das Mitwirken unserer Gäste angewiesen, da wir nicht immer im Feriendorf präsent sind. Dies wird auch jedem Gast im Vorfeld des Aufenthalts so kommuniziert. So auch in Ihrem Fall.
Leider haben Sie es verpasst, uns während Ihres Urlaubs auf Ihre beschriebenen Kritikpunkte aufmerksam zu machen. Dieser Umstand ist sehr schade.
Bezüglich Ihrer Kritikpunkte können wir Ihnen folgendes sagen: Während Ihres Aufenthalts Anfang September (nicht in der Hauptsaison August) fanden weder Abrissarbeiten, noch Neubauten in der näheren Umgebung statt. Da das Ferienhaus aber umgeben ist von anderen Ferien- und Privathäusern, kann es in der Nachbarschaft auch zu Arbeiten an und in diesen kommen. Im bestimmten Rahmen ist das völlig legitim und wird durch eine Feriendorf Ordnung geregelt.
Natürlich ist es ärgerlich, wenn es in der Nachbarschaft nach 20h zu Mäharbeiten gekommen sein sollte. Es wäre jedoch hilfreich gewesen, über die "Mähproblematik" zeitnah von Ihnen in Kenntnis gesetzt zu werden. Auch der direkte Weg zum Verursacher des Lärms wäre zielführender gewesen, als eine Kritik im Nachgang im Internet zu lesen.

Holiday cottage with a lake view

A beautiful holiday home with everything you need. On top of that, there is a sauna that we enjoyed using. There is enough space for six adults.
At the nearby lake, you can swim, go boating, and fish wonderfully.
We really enjoyed it.

A great relaxing vacation

We urgently needed a break and found the perfect place for it with the holiday home by the lake. The equipment is great and left nothing to be desired. We especially liked the loving furnishings. There are books everywhere to read and many board games. The beautiful landscape, especially the lake, also appealed to us very much. Here we could really recharge our batteries. Thank you very much to the nice homeowners as well. In the house, there is a folder with many tips for excursions. Very nicely done. We will definitely come back and can highly recommend this beautiful house!
