Description
Our bright, modern and lovingly furnished holiday home with lake view offers space for up to six people on 105 square metres. The living space extends over two levels.
On the ground floor is the large living and dining area with open kitchen. This is fully equipped for six people with fridge with freezer compartment, ceramic hob and oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, espresso machine, dishwasher, toaster, blender and everything you need for cooking. Even the smallest guests are catered for with colourful children's tableware and a high chair.
In addition to the heating, the cosy fireplace in the living room provides a comfortably warm feeling. The sofa invites you to spend evenings playing games (board games are available in the house). The media equipment in the living room includes a TV with satellite connection, a DVD and Blue Ray player, as well as a music system with Bluetooth connection, Spotify, DAB and Internet radio.
A bedroom with two single beds and a windowed bathroom with whirlpool, sauna, shower, WC and washing machine are also located on the ground floor. A baby cot is available free of charge for the smallest guests.
A staircase leads to the open gallery on the first floor with another TV including DVD and Blueray player. Here you can create an open sleeping area for a 7th person by adding a pull-out couch.
On the first floor there are two additional bedrooms, each with a double bed. The windowed bathroom on the first floor includes a shower and a toilet.
The house has a covered terrace with garden furniture and a garden shed. Here you will find, among other things, the Weber grill and the oars for the rowing boat, which is available to our guests free of charge from May to October. You are welcome to rent an e-motor for the boat on site. The holiday home is surrounded by a garden with lawn and flower beds. Your cars can be parked in the double parking space at the house. You are welcome to use a hammock and a trampoline.
It is about 50m walk to the bathing beach at the lake. This spot is also well suited for the smallest guests, as the water here is very shallow.

Location and surroundings of object
The region around Lake Dümmer is not only a wonderful recreational area but is also strategically located for excursions to Schwerin, Wismar or Ludwigslust. For children, there is an adventure nature trail only 500 m from the holiday home. Hamburg or the Baltic Sea can be reached by car in about an hour
For a bicycle tour on the well-developed cycle paths of the region, you can rent bicycles directly in the holiday village.
In the village you will find a nice children's playground and a bakery that is open on Sundays. You can buy regional products in various farm shops, where you can also often get coffee and cake in the associated farm café.
The Alpincenter in Wittenburg (12 km) is also easy to reach by bike. There you will find leisure facilities such as skiing and snowboarding, tobogganing, a go-kart and quad track, a high ropes course with adventure playground, as well as beach volleyball courts and various gastronomic facilities.
In Zachun (20km) you can also use the possibility of a water ski facility.
Our beautiful state capital - the 'City of the Seven Lakes', offers you a wide range of entertainment and culture. To get to know the city, we recommend a city tour with the 'Petermännchenexpress' and a trip with the 'White Fleet' on Lake Schwerin.
The historic old town with its castle, theatre and museums is also worth seeing.
Fancy a spot of shopping? No problem, Schwerin's city centre offers you a wide range of shopping opportunities. Have fun exploring.
The Baltic Sea coast of Mecklenburg and the Hanseatic cities of Wismar, Lübeck and Hamburg can be reached in about 1 hour.

Holiday week at the Swedish house
We spent the Carnival holidays in the beautiful Swedish house and were able to enjoy the time out to the fullest. We were welcomed very warmly with a small gift and even a handwritten card, which we found very thoughtful. The house is beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, and lacked nothing. The facilities were upscale overall, there really was nothing to complain about. The sauna and hot tub were impeccable. We took many trips from the holiday home (Hamburg, Lübeck, Schwerin, Alpin-Center, Baltic Sea), the location is convenient. The house is located quietly on Lake Dümmer, it was very quiet due to the season. We would definitely book the Swedish house again, no matter what time of year, it is relaxing and in the middle of nature. The hostess was always available and responded immediately to questions. Check-in/out went super smoothly, all without direct contact. Well deserved 5/5 stars all around!

Family vacation

Holiday in Northern Germany
A very beautiful house with everything you need. You don't have a view of the lake. It would have been nice, but it wasn't a big deal. With a few steps you are at the lake, which is very beautiful. There is a stand-up paddleboard at the house and you can rent an electric motor for the boat that is also included. Definitely recommended. Enjoyed it for two weeks.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location at the beautiful Dümmer See - absolutely recommendable
I would recommend this house at any time for a break or a family holiday with children, or for two, or for a few days together with friends. There are plenty of opportunities for walks - for example, the walk around the lake and the quiet location are just right for relaxing. I was able to relax very well. The house and its furnishings are cosy, clean, everything you need is there, bright and friendly, lovingly and tastefully decorated. I immediately felt at home. I will definitely book again and look forward to being there in summer, because the sandy beach and the sunbathing lawn at the lake can be used free of charge by booking guests. The price-performance ratio is right and the very nice, helpful landlords are always available for questions and concerns.

Perfect holiday home for a wellness getaway
My husband and I rented the holiday home for a little over 2 weeks to get a break from the stressful city life. And that's what we got. The house is in a small holiday village in a very quiet location with a beautiful lake in front of the door. We even had some snow.
Special mention should be made of the cosy and lovely furnishings and of course the sauna and whirlpool, which we used extensively.
The kitchen offers everything your heart desires and is well equipped. It even has a blender, muffin tin and espresso machine.
We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back.

Short time out
We spent a few days with our children in the holiday home at Lake Dümmer. The house is super equipped, with highchairs and a cot. And even games, a trampoline and cuddly toys were there for our little ones. We also liked the many suggestions for excursions from the house owners. We can recommend the Holthusen children's farm. But the best thing for the children was the lake, which is almost on the doorstep.
The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen amazingly well equipped. We don't know that from other houses. We can highly recommend the house and would have liked to stay longer.

Ferienhausurlaub
Eine schöne Gegend zum entspannen.
Leider war unser Urlaub nicht sehr erholsam. Wir hatten eine Baustelle genau 2 Häuser gegenüber. Jeden Tag von 8.00 - 17.00 Uhr Abriss und Aufbauarbeiten. ( sägen und nageln)
Desweiteren wurde um 20.00 Uhr auch mal gerne Rasen gemäht. Zur Ruhe kommen wie angepriesen war selten möglich. Wir mußten dann den Ort immer verlassen.
Solche Verschönerungsarbeiten sollte man außerhalb der Saison durchführen.
Wasser und Wald laden zum Entspannen ein. Es wäre ein schöner Urlaub geworden wenn nicht die Ruhe gestört wird.

Wir sind immer darauf bedacht, dass sich unsere Gäste während ihres Aufenthaltes wohl fühlen und eine erholsame Zeit in unserer Unterkunft verbringen. Sollten dennoch Unstimmigkeiten während eines Aufenthaltes auftreten, so tun wir alles, um vorliegende Probleme schnellstmöglich zu lösen. Hierzu sind wir aber auf das Mitwirken unserer Gäste angewiesen, da wir nicht immer im Feriendorf präsent sind. Dies wird auch jedem Gast im Vorfeld des Aufenthalts so kommuniziert. So auch in Ihrem Fall.
Leider haben Sie es verpasst, uns während Ihres Urlaubs auf Ihre beschriebenen Kritikpunkte aufmerksam zu machen. Dieser Umstand ist sehr schade.
Bezüglich Ihrer Kritikpunkte können wir Ihnen folgendes sagen: Während Ihres Aufenthalts Anfang September (nicht in der Hauptsaison August) fanden weder Abrissarbeiten, noch Neubauten in der näheren Umgebung statt. Da das Ferienhaus aber umgeben ist von anderen Ferien- und Privathäusern, kann es in der Nachbarschaft auch zu Arbeiten an und in diesen kommen. Im bestimmten Rahmen ist das völlig legitim und wird durch eine Feriendorf Ordnung geregelt.
Natürlich ist es ärgerlich, wenn es in der Nachbarschaft nach 20h zu Mäharbeiten gekommen sein sollte. Es wäre jedoch hilfreich gewesen, über die "Mähproblematik" zeitnah von Ihnen in Kenntnis gesetzt zu werden. Auch der direkte Weg zum Verursacher des Lärms wäre zielführender gewesen, als eine Kritik im Nachgang im Internet zu lesen.

Ferienhaus Seeblick
Ein schönes Ferienhaus mit allem was man braucht . Obendrauf gibt es noch eine Sauna die wir gerne genutzt haben.
Es ist ausreichend Platz für sechs Erwachsene.
Am sehr nahe gelegenen See kann man wunderbar baden ,Boot fahren und Angeln.

Ein toller Erholungsurlaub
Wir brauchten dringend mal eine Auszeit und fanden dafür mit dem Ferienhaus am See einen perfekten Platz. Die Ausstattung ist super und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Besonders gefallen hat uns die liebevolle Einrichtung. Überall liegen Bücher zum Lesen und es gibt viele Gesellschaftsspiele. Die herrliche Landschaft und vor allem der See haben uns auch sehr gut gefallen. Hier konnten wir unsere Batterien mal wieder so richtig aufladen. Herzlichen Dank auch an die netten Hausbesitzer. Im Haus liegt eine Mappe mit vielen Tipps für Ausflugsziele. Sehr nett gemacht. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit wieder und können dieses schöne Haus nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Schöne Auszeit vom Alltag
Im Ferienhaus ist alles vorhanden was man braucht. Vor allem der Kaminofen und das Wohlfühlbad mit Sauna waren hervorragend.
Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten eine erholsame Urlaubswoche.

Ein wunderbarer Ort für Erholung
Wirklich ein wundervoller Ort um abzuschalten und Familien Zeit zu verbringen. Ausflugorte sind nicht weit entfernt, und Wanderwege direkt vor der Haustüre ! Wirklich eine Reise wert.
