Description
Welcome to the Alte Försterei - a rustic holiday flat awaits you on a historic, thatched courtyard ensemble:
The 3-room holiday flat "Eichhörnchennest" is located on the first floor (attic). It has approx. 70m² incl. sloping ceilings.
It offers you:
- 1 living room with couch, armchair, large dining table and mini kitchen (with 2-plate cooker and refrigerator)
- 2 bedrooms with double bed and wardrobe
- Extra beds are possible on the sofa bed in the living room or the bed in the hallway (see photo).
- 1 bathroom with shower and WC.
Wi-Fi is available for you free of charge.
Cot and high chair are available free of charge upon request
Maximum occupancy is 2 adults + up to 4 children or a total of 4 adults without additional persons.
Barbecues are allowed in the courtyard. A covered picnic area and plenty of seating in the garden are available.
For the little guests there is a small children's house in the garden as well as rabbits, guinea pigs, a goat and two ponies,
who are happy to be stroked.
A sauna is available on the farm. It can be used for 15 € per sauna session. Please bring your sauna towels with you.
If desired, 2 canoes can be rented (a paddle tour to Hiddensee is always an experience) or
the landlady will harness the pony for you ...
Parking spaces are available free of charge.
The landlady builds and sells wonderful wildwood furniture in all shapes and sizes
She is also happy to take orders according to your wishes

If you are travelling with more adults or children:
Additional persons are charged as follows: Children up to 6 years 5 €, children 7-12 years 7 €, teenagers from 13 years 9 €, adults 12 €.

The "Alte Försterei" is located in Haide on Ummanz. Ummanz is a small island that can be reached from Rügen via a wooden bridge. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the Bodden. The bathing beaches on Rügen can be reached easily by car
In autumn, Ummanz is a popular resting place for cranes and red deer. Nature lovers get their money's worth at this time, when you can see the cranes migrating at sunset and hear the deer roaring...

Relaxing short break on the island of Ummanz.
We felt comfortable here. The apartment was spacious and clean. Simple but practical. The children had a lot of fun on the farm with the animals and the playhouse.
The landlady was very nice and attentive.
We thank you very much for the wonderful days with you!

Relaxed vacation week with plenty of fresh island air!
We enjoyed the tranquility in the golden autumn at Alte Försterei. Many thanks to the landlady for the warm welcome and preheating the holiday apartment :) ... The holiday apartment was simple, clean, and affordable. The location is beautiful! Highly recommended for nature lovers!

simple, but very quaint
a small gem. The old forester's lodge has been lovingly restored. A lot of work and heart has been put into the grounds and each individual holiday apartment. The furnishings are simple, but everything is available. It has "hunter's lodge charm". For children, it's a dream with little witch houses, a treehouse, animals, and swings. In the evenings, Mrs. Kather also takes care of the children and offers horseback riding or fishing for the boys. The wine cellar or sauna invite you to linger or relax in the garden. To end the day, we enjoyed. We really liked it there and definitely want to come back!
