Location
35 km from Gerona airport. Drive in direction “St. Feliu”, after about 20 km take exit “Tossa de Mar” at the roundabouts follow the signs to “Tossa de Mar”. 12 km later, on a winding road through the woods, you reach “Tossa de Mar”. Follow the sign to “Lloret de Mar”, up the hill and after 3,5 km is the camping site “Cala Llevado” on the left. The entrance to the urbanisation “Sta. Maria de Llorell is the next km from Barcelona airport. Drive in direction “Gerona”, take the exit to “Lloret de Mar” follow the sign to “Tossa de Mar”. Winding road up the hill. Immediately after the highest point, descending towards Tossa ,the entrance to the residential area of “Sta. Maria de Llorell” is on the right.

This community was founded in the early sixties. The houses and villas are privately owned. There are German, British, French, Swiss, Dutch, Belgians and other nationalities living in well kept houses and villas on the green hills descending towards the sandy private beach. A steady wind coming down from the distant Pyrenees cools the area nicely even in mid summer. Only cars with a sticker are allowed to enter the guarded and fenced community so the clean sandy private beach situated between rocks and trees is never overcrowded. You can call yourself lucky when you can find an accommodation in Sta. Maria de Llorell during high season, because it is one of the most sought after holiday resorts in the Costa Brava for families. You can enjoy water-skiing, windsurfing, sailing and diving possibilities (sports gear can be rented) as well as fun activities and boat trips. Snorkelling fanatics find plenty of interesting places around the rocks and by the nearby tiny islands. At the beach restaurant you can find reasonably priced snacks, cool beers, a billiard table and other supermarket and 4 tennis courts are close to the entrance of the community and just around the corner one can take part in the various daily activities at the camping place, visit their swimming pool or open air disco in the evenings. Should you be in the need of medical care, there is also an English speaking resident doctor during the summer time at Cale Llevado. Just in case there is something you can’t find in our supermarket, or if it is closed, you can visit the well stocked one at the camping site and for the hungry ones, there is an attractive restaurant offering reasonably priced meals.

The very large private garage with automatic garage door with remote control, compressor for air mattresses etc., plenty of space for beach utensils and wardrobe, as well as direct access to the living area can be rented additionally for € 22.-- per night. A deposit of € 500.-- will be charged at the time of booking. This will be returned in full to your bank account if nothing has been damaged in or around the house. |

Perfect holiday at Es Mirador
We had a wonderful holiday in Es MIRDOR in July 2020. We stayed in the house with 4 adults and 5 children (1,3,4, 9 and 12 years) and it was just great. The room layout is very well thought out, as you can live very well with two families in this house and still have enough "freedom"/privacy. With us, each family had a floor. Our three children with us upstairs (3 rooms with double beds and each with very good mattresses) and each room had a bathroom. The nicest and largest room with king size bed also has the most comfortable bathroom with large shower and large bathtub, which was also well used to bathe the little ones in one go after a great pool or/and beach day. My sister and her family use the 2 bedrooms downstairs (one of which also has a large bathroom). There are permanently installed children's toilet seats (to fold up) on the toilets. I emphasise this because all families with smaller children know that this makes everyday life so much easier. This shows how well the Leidinger family is equipped for families and children. The kitchen is also very well equipped. There was really nothing missing. Dishes, cutlery, glasses in all variations (drinking glasses, wine glasses, beer glasses, schnapps glasses, etc.) are sufficiently available. The coffee from the fully automatic coffee machine tastes very good, 2 toasters and the sandwich maker were also gladly used by us. The washing machine and dryer were also in good use and made a lot of work at home easier, especially for me, as most of the laundry came home washed. Since we had to fight the corona pandemic this year, we spent most of our time in and around the house. The pool, the children's playground at the house and the well-kept garden made it very easy for us not to have to leave the house. Fantastic family holiday in a beautiful, well equiped villa
We shared this gorgeous modern villa with another family and we all had the best family holiday together, very happy children and happy parents! It was so successful that we have rebooked.
The layout of the villa lends itself to two families as there are two areas, downstairs has two double bedrooms with large bathroom, plus an additional sofa bed in the library. Upstairs there are another three bedrooms and three ensuite bathrooms. There are fans which worked well as it was hot when we were there and the beds are very comfortable. There is a well equipped living area with table football, tv etc and fantastic roof terrace with stunning views and a table tennis table. Lots of different sun bathing areas. Outside is a child's paradise with pool, climbing frame with lots of wonderful extras. We hardly saw our children as they were so happy outside playing.
The beach is beautiful with a good cafe, it's within walking distance, uphill on the way home but doable, but parking spaces are available so we drove.
The villa is of an excellent standard and we felt much more at home here than other holiday villas. Tossa del Mar is a short drive away and it is a lovely town, cobbled streets with good restaurants, perfect for the evening.

Absolutely recommended !!!
We rented this wonderful house with 10 people (three generations) for 14 days. The house is well thought out, with a very successful room layout. All rooms have their own bathroom, electric shutters, and a fan. It might be desirable to have insect screens as well.
The clean swimming pool leaves nothing to be desired; regular maintenance and checks were carried out multiple times during our holiday. The size of 8 x 4 meters is definitely sufficient.
Since the house is located on the mountain (with a beautiful view of the sea), a car is definitely needed to go to the beach, especially with children. We were prepared for that, though.
The communication with the landlord was flawless; inquiries were promptly and reliably answered. The entire process was very professional. This is how you wish for as a tenant. Five stars here as well. The on-site support was also impeccable. It was a wonderful vacation for us, and the house can definitely be recommended by all of us.

Perfekte Erholung
We have had a great week and can only recommend the Es Mirador! The house is spacious and leaves nothing to be desired, perfect not only with young children but also in our case with several teenagers. The rather small but very beautiful beach is a bit far away on foot, but even in high season, you can find parking spaces. And the pool in our own garden is tempting anyway... The organization also worked perfectly, you feel very well taken care of.

Vicinity of the holiday home: Eine Wirklich tolle Umgebung, hoch auf dem Berge...!Es ist ruhig und absolut erholsam.Das ganze Areal ist bewacht..!
free time activities: Zum Strand geht's Berg ab..ca 750m. das heißt man muß auch wieder Berg hoch. Mit dem Auto kein Problem. Parkplätze vorhanden
shopping facilities: Ein kleiner Supermarket hat alles was man so braucht. Oder zum Supermarkt nach Tossa, ca 2,5 km. DIA Markt ist klasse.
We visited Sta. Maria for the first time in 1985. Because we liked it so much in this fantastic resort and our children made countless friendships that have lasted to this day, we returned every year and bought a small 70 m2 cottage 9 years later. Our family grew, which led to us having our Es MIRADOR built. We hope that you too will enjoy your holidays as much as we have since 2007 and we are happy to put the villa at your disposal.
