The holiday flat is located on the ground floor of an impressive brick house, which is beautifully enclosed with natural rock. The house is located in a cul-de-sac at the end of Osterhagen, more precisely: at Heerstraße 5. In good weather, you can have breakfast outside in front of the house, more or less in the front garden! Don't worry, the street is extremely quiet, as there are only four other houses in the immediate vicinity. You will find a plastic table and chairs behind the veranda. Nearby, the well-known Karst hiking trail invites you to go hiking. For those who like cycling, there are several (at least 4) bicycles with three-speed gears available.

Location and surroundings of object

The busy main road is far enough away from the accommodation not to bother you with its noise. Unfortunately, there is no longer a shop in the village itself.
The main road also takes you to Nordhausen or from there to Erfurt (distance from Osterhagen: approx. 70 km). Nearby, in Scharzfeld, you will find the Unicorn Cave and the ruins of Scharzfels Castle with a restaurant. The Wiesenbecker ponds in Bad Lauterberg are also a good destination for an excursion, and you can hike to them directly from the holiday home. A few hundred metres behind the garden, at the edge of the forest (approx. 20 minutes on foot), you already meet the well-known Karst hiking trail, which leads you to Bad Lauterberg, to Steina or to Bad Sachsa. Find out more at The small village of Osterhagen is situated between Bad Lauterberg and Bad Sachsa, i.e. between two well-known and popular spa towns. Both are about only 5 kilometres from Osterhagen, so our holiday guests can take advantage of a variety of leisure facilities, such as a wave pool in Bad Lauterberg, forest swimming pools, miniature golf, etc. The proximity of these two spa towns means that there are a number of restaurants of all tastes, as well as nice shopping streets and a variety of places of interest or excursion destinations.
The Eastern Harz and the Upper Harz can also be easily explored from here. For example, a very idyllic road leads via Bad Lauterberg to St. Andreasberg and over the Sonnenberg directly to Goslar, the old imperial city.

Bed linen &amp;amp; towels per person once 4€. Pets for free, no additional costs for parking or similar. Winter season is more expensive because of heating costs.
Please buy the wood for the stove yourself ;)

Cancellation terms:

You will be refunded half of the booking amount minus the cancellation fee, if you cancel the booking at least 7 days before the planned check-in until 12 o’clock midday CET (Central European time). For cancellations which are made less than 7 days before check-in there will be no refund.

Hello! Our grandfather built this house in the 1930s and it was the regular meeting place for all family members until our grandmother died, no matter how far away they lived in the meantime. Even today, we - the grandchildren of the builder, the Grün siblings - like to spend a few weeks a year there and thus also use the flats ourselves (which is why the occupancy calendar always looks so empty ;). So if you spend your holiday there, (almost) the whole house is at your disposal. The flat on the first floor is rented out - for what feels like ages to Mr Pflanz, who also manages the keys. We want you to feel comfortable and not miss anything - so that you can concentrate fully on the beauties of the harz.
