The cozy log cabin in the sunny southern Harz extends over two floors and offers the ideal retreat for a relaxing vacation for up to 6 people with a maximum of 3 dogs.
On the ground floor, there is an open living area with a cozy sitting area, large windows that let in plenty of daylight, and a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area.
Additionally, there is a shower room with a window, which provides pleasant brightness and fresh air. From here you can directly access the terrace and the fenced garden, which invites you to linger. The terrace is equipped with comfortable seating and a grill - perfect for balmy summer evenings and social barbecues.
The completely fenced small garden provides space for your children and dogs to romp around and ensures a safe environment.

Solid little house
The little house was very clean. The bathroom was a bit too small, and the house for 4 people, possibly a dog, would be clearly too small for me. We were two. Therefore, it was very pleasant. The equipment of the kitchen utensils was basic. The outdoor area appears significantly larger in the photos... the neighboring houses are very close. The location is very quiet, as is the neighborhood. About a 10-minute drive for shopping and to the town. The landlord was very friendly and helpful.

Für Urlaub mit Hund super. Für Wanderfreunde super. Wer nicht so beweglich sein kann, kommt schnell mit dem Auto an viele sehenswerte Orte.

Really great accommodation!
Really enjoyed it with just the two of us, couple 65, and our medium-sized dog. House very complete in terms of furnishings and kitchen, and everything very clean. Friendly owner comes by occasionally for a chat outside. Just cozy, but you have complete privacy in a very quiet area where the walking paths for nice walks with the dog are just a few hundred meters away. Cycling is also an option, did it 3 times, sometimes a bit on the Bweg, but yes, you don't have as many bike paths as in the Netherlands anywhere. Plenty of villages, museums, etc. in the area. . both for nice and less nice weather. A bike ride to the top of the Brocken is recommended. . not from the cottage but from Sierke, I think.
What was great: charging station for the electric car at the door! Handy and relatively inexpensive.
Mattresses are fine. . . it can be a thing, but I, a man, slept well on both the softer and harder mattress. . . but that's personal.
No improvements at all? Well, alright. . maybe a small microwave. . . for warming cold milk to whip cappuccino foam. . . . but can also just be done in a pan on the stove. . . so not really missed. . . because we had enough time . . right?
