Description
Water treatment is performed by a modern electrolysis system, avoiding the usual pool tablets. The water is slightly salty and, upon request (at an extra cost of 150.- € per week (in winter based on consumption), so that from April to October, there are pleasant temperatures (up to 30º) in the pool. Air conditioning/heating based on consumption or 100.- per week.

Unfortunately, the house is not suitable for guests with mobility impairments.
In the basement, we have recently set up a games room with table football.
Adjacent to the pool area there is a large built-in barbecue, (we charge 35.- for cleaning the barbecue if you do not wish to do it yourself,) cozy evenings at home. In the large natural garden, your dog can frolic wonderfully. In about 5 minutes. Within walking distance (600 m) there is also a very good restaurant, a supermarket for small purchases (baguette, etc.) and there is also a pizza service.
We are happy to provide tips on where to shop for the freshest goods, or where the most beautiful beaches and tourist attractions are. We have been living in Lloret de Mar for over 20 years.
Completely fenced, we welcome up to 5 dogs of all breeds and sizes without extra charges. Dog waste must be disposed of. To those who do not do so, we will charge an extra 50.

If desired, I can provide you with the exact address/location in Serra Brava before booking. Upon arrival, a fee of 10 € per person for bed linen will be collected in cash (if not already charged at booking), as well as a tourist tax by the Catalan autonomous government of 1 € per night for everyone over 16 years (max. 7 € per person). The house must be left swept clean and without garbage. We reserve the right to increase the cleaning fee if this is not the case.

Always a pleasure.
For us, the house is perfect! In a decentralized location, but very quickly in Lloret de Mar or Tossa de Mar. The children were in the pool every day. The equipment is fine. The price ratio is very good! Only an air conditioning would be desirable.

Wonderful relaxing vacation.
We spent the Pentecost holidays in "El Nidito blanco" and can recommend this accommodation in every way. The house is located quietly in the mountains above Lloret de Mar. On the day of arrival, we were warmly welcomed and immediately felt comfortable in the cozy white accommodation. The house has a perfect layout: our 3 sons moved into the upper floor, each had their own room (one even with an indoor balcony) and there were 2 bathrooms. So we parents had our peace and quiet on the lower floor ;o) For dogs, the property is a paradise, our Lizzy has recovered super. The pool is also perfect (we had it heated to 30 degrees) and is cleaned and monitored several times a week by a "pool boy". The equipment also leaves nothing to be desired: washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, small oven, various kitchen appliances ... everything is there! The large grill in the garden was also tested by us and found to be good :o) Last but not least, we would also like to mention the very warm contact with the landlords from the very first moment ... Susanne and Rainer were competent and friendly contact persons in all respects, whether it was about excursion tips (Barcelona, beaches, restaurants) or if you had another question. All in all, a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful house with lovely amenities. Ideally located between tranquility and proximity to the seaside. The only downside is there are a lot of stairs for babies, but that's the hilly region for you. I recommend without hesitation. We had a pleasant stay.

Great house in great surroundings!
Absolutely great, newly renovated house with everything your heart desires. The house is in an absolutely new, renovated condition. Newly furnished and tip top maintained. Each room is very tastefully and brightly furnished. No old and dark furniture as you know it from many rental houses in Spain. Great garden with a wonderfully large pool. There is also a nice outdoor barbecue in the garden which we used many evenings. From the balcony, as well as from the pool terrace, you have a wonderful view of the surrounding, wooded hills. You have a wonderful view...you can even see the sea.
In the house itself you will find everything you need for everyday life. The kitchen is well equipped and even an iron can be found in the house. All in all, it was a holiday without any faults. The landlord and his wife are very nice and helpful and you really feel in good hands.
The house is very suitable for tenants with dogs. The property is completely fenced in, so that you don't have to worry about your four-legged friend escaping. We have already rented a house from Mr. M. for the second time and have been very satisfied both times.
We can really give this place 5 stars without reservation and recommend the landlord as well as the location with a clear conscience.

Perfect for two families with children.
We loved the house. Perfect for two families with children. We were 4 adults and 4 children. There is privacy, the pool is perfect, the barbecue is good but poorly constructed, it was too high and blew smoke in our faces, making it difficult to barbecue. The house is exactly as it is in the photos, very new, almost brand new everything there. Rainer is very attentive and quick in responding. We loved the location, the only thing was that it was only accessible by car. A safe place in the middle of the mountains. There were two neighbors but we had no inconvenience. Recommended.

The pictures really don't disappoint. And the pool was actually just for us! Normally you expect a shared pool, not one just for yourself at a vacation home. And the Wi-Fi was quite fast, I would even say the fastest I've had in a Spanish vacation home. We will definitely come back, but next time for a longer stay.

Wonderful Villa in the heart of Costa Brava
El Nidito is a wonderful house, located in a quiet area with great views to the mountains and sea. We had the most relaxing holidays with our two kids. The house was newly renovated and just perfect. beautiful holidays in Mallorca
We were one of the first guests at this beautiful house El Nidito. Lovely, very clean house, great outdoor area with pool. Even a separate pool for children. A wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Ideal for us as the whole property is fenced in, so we could let the kids and the dog play outside without worries. Very nice service. We will come back.
