Rent a newly renovated 4-star holiday home in the south of the island of Rügen (Zudar peninsula), living room with oak parquet flooring and leather seating, fireplace, satellite TV, hi-fi tower with USB and Bluetooth, WiFi available, underfloor heating, bathtub, shower, wall-hung WC and bathroom furniture, kitchen with underfloor heating, corner fitted kitchen with Ceran electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, coffee machine and much more, dining room with satellite TV, HiFi tower and children's high chair, 3 bedrooms with 2 beds in each. Children's room with satellite TV and seating and table, large bedroom with satellite TV in the bedrooms, the furniture is all made of solid pine varnished, children's travel bed available, bathroom upstairs with washbasin, shower and toilet, all windows and doors with mosquito protection. Bed linen, towels and tea towels are included in the price. Washing machine available. If the weather is not so good, there is a robust pavilion at your disposal, on the south-west side there is a terrace with sun loungers and a parasol, for children there is a swing on the property, unfortunately pets are not allowed in our house. Bicycle rental directly in front of the door. As you live directly on the water, you can rent a rowing boat for 4 people from us. We are already looking forward to welcoming you to our Zudar peninsula.

Wonderful holiday home in a heavenly quiet location

How quickly a week can pass... I was able to enjoy this wonderful holiday home in the last week of July with my children and I must say, it was simply dreamy. The holiday home is somewhat secluded and especially far away from road noise and city hustle. Those seeking peace, even with children, will find it here. Larger towns like Garz are 10 minutes away by car, and Bergen, Putbus, or Stralsund are only up to 30 minutes away. I can highly recommend the beautiful, historic old town of Stralsund. However, anyone looking for a vacation with a white sandy beach will not find it here. In the immediate vicinity, though, there are the wonderful natural beaches Palmer Ort Strand, Palmer Ort, Grabow, etc., which are accessible on foot in 30 to 60 minutes.

The landlord couple, Mrs. and Mr. Waßnick, are very friendly and helpful, readily providing information and supporting with tips for a relaxing vacation. The holiday home is extremely clean and well-maintained, equipped with modern flat-screen TVs, WiFi (the internet is a bit slow), and everything else you need. There is always at least one fly screen in front of the windows, so you can sleep wonderfully with the window open at night. Although the weather wasn't always optimal, we had a wonderful time. I hope we can come back again. Thank you very much for that and best regards from Görlitz.

Wonderful place for a relaxing holiday without stress

Very nice, spacious and extremely clean accommodation. Pure relaxation. Anyone who needs some peace and quiet is in good hands with this host. Furthermore, an ideal starting point for day trips to the surrounding area. We will definitely be back!

Great vacation home, highly recommended!

We (4 adults, 3 small children) stayed in this beautiful holiday home for 2 weeks in July. The house is very cozy and modernly furnished and exceptionally clean. Everything is well thought out and nothing is missing. The house offers plenty of space and opportunities to "get out of the way" even in bad weather. The outdoor area is also very well maintained and attractive, and the children enjoyed the swing and seesaw in the garden. The house has a convenient location for excursions, beautiful beaches are nearby. The view of the Bodden is very picturesque and invites you to linger. The Waßnick couple is very helpful, friendly, and good with children. We felt completely comfortable and would love to come back.

Wundervoller Urlaub mit bei netten Vermietern

The pictures of the house promised a lot, but the house in reality was even better. Lovingly furnished, very clean, spacious rooms, and in a beautifully quiet location. In the beds, we could sleep as well as we haven't in a long time. The highlight of it all: super landlord, always listening with an open ear. THANK YOU. Eine sehr schöne Zeit

We were four adults and two children and stayed in the house from October 17th to October 24th, 2020. The house is very well equipped! It is modern and beautifully cozy, and the technological elements are very appealing. There is plenty of space. If anything is missing or if there are any questions, no problem, the landlord lives right next door and takes care of things very quickly. It's only about 60 meters to the Bodden. If you want, you can rent a boat from the landlord and spend a few nice hours there. You can do a lot with the bike from the house. (5 minutes to the Baltic Sea, Stahlbrode ferry, Maltzien lighthouse, etc.) We can absolutely say nothing negative and would always vacation in the house again.

Any time again.

We had a perfect vacation in this wonderful holiday home. Rarely have we experienced such a clean and beautifully furnished house. We didn't miss anything at all. 3 beautiful weeks of vacation

We spent 3 beautiful, sunny weeks of vacation here. The holiday home is located in a very quiet area overlooking the lagoon. The house is very clean and well-maintained. The equipment is high quality (comfortable mattresses, mosquito protection, washing machine, etc.) We lacked nothing. Highly recommended, especially for children, as there is even a small playground on the property for them. The landlord and his wife are very friendly and helpful. The price for this holiday home is simply unbeatable. If we plan to go to Rügen again, this will be our first port of call.

Toller Urlaub

Relaxing vacation

We would like to thank the Wassnick family for a wonderful and relaxing family vacation. We visited the island of Rügen for the first time and were impressed by Maltzien and its surroundings. The holiday home in Maltzien, lovingly furnished by the Wassnick family, simply invites you to feel at ease. It provides all the comfort needed for a relaxing vacation. We were warmly welcomed by the Wassnick family and got to know them both as very family-friendly and open-minded during the social evening. Summer vacation 2020

The holiday home is very comfortably furnished. The slightly creaky floor upstairs reminded me of the one at my grandma's. I immediately felt at home. It is also very suitable for families with children. The landlords are very nice and ensure a pleasant stay. The little drink among "sailors" particularly pleased my dad. We were very enthusiastic and would love to come back anytime.

The holiday home is very beautiful, we spent a wonderful vacation there. The children could play nicely on the property, as everything is fenced in. The landlords are very nice, and you can always turn to them with questions. They are also very child-friendly and want to make sure that tenants have everything they need. We all felt comfortable and will definitely come back again. The house is in top condition, as seen in the pictures. We would like to thank the Waßnick family once again for their hospitality.

The landlord couple lives right next door. Especially the landlord, Mr. Waßnick, observes everything that is visible from the outside: how and whether the garden gate is closed, if the curtain is hanging out of the window, how the grill is lit. We were immediately addressed about it. Sometimes it can get quite loud. The atmosphere was so unpleasant that we considered leaving. Examples of the service: The house must be left clean with the tenants sweeping. However, we do not provide a broom as it stirs up too much dust. Instead, we should use the vacuum cleaner which couldn't be used due to its noise when the children were sleeping and also because it was quite heavy.
The landlord has his garage and workshop on the premises of the holiday apartment. He drives multiple times a day with different vehicles (car, lawnmower vehicle, motorcycle) onto and off the property. This was the reason why he considered it impractical to keep the driveway gate closed. As the property is located directly next to the lagoon, it was not possible to just let the 2- and 5-year-old boys play in the garden. The fenced property was one of the reasons why we chose this accommodation. The kitchen is equipped with everything that is needed. There was nothing missing here - except a corkscrew with which we could have opened the bottle of wine provided by the landlords.
The house is very noisy and the floor on the upper floor creaks so much that it was very difficult to put the children to bed quietly. The spiral staircase to the upper floor is absolutely unsuitable for small children. Although the very quiet location on the Zudar peninsula is truly something special and beautiful, I cannot recommend this vacation home due to the unpleasant proximity and behavior of the landlords.

Also es ist schon ungewöhnlich wie solche Leute noch eine Bewertung abgeben, die unser Ferienhaus so dreckig und keimig hinterlassen haben und alles schlecht reden obwohl Sie noch einen Tag länger bleiben wollten,was uns aber zeitlich nicht passte. Zum Glück wir hätten es am Samstag bis zur nächsten Anreise mit der Reinigung und Malerarbeiten nie geschafft. Es war so eklig das kann sich keiner vorstellen. Jetzt zum Anfang :Das Ferienhaus wurde lt.Vertrag für 6 Personen vom 29.06.-12.07.19 von Frau Ute M. aus Rostock gebucht. Am ersten Tag wurden erstmal alle 3 Blumenschalen im Außenbereich zum Eingang entfernt, auf Nachfrage sagte man uns die Kinder und Enkelkinder kommen morgen sie sind sehr lebhaft. Dann haben wir die Schalen aus dem Pavillon erstmal sicher gestellt. Am 3 Tag reiste noch eine weitere Person an, ohne uns zu Fragen stand für Frau M. fest ihr Bruder bleibt eine Nacht. Dann wurde natürlich wie es jeder im Urlaub gerne macht gegrillt, durch Zufall sah ich wie der Schwiegersohn den Grill ganz dicht an unserem Holzcarport anzündete und mit ein Stück Stoff wedelte bis die Glut aus dem Grill flog, darauf hin musste ich einfach was sagen da ich bei der Trockenheit Angst um mein Carport hatte. Dann wurde ich durch den Schwiegersohn angeschriehen,, ich habe gemietet ich kann machen was ich will''. Ich war erstmal sprachlos,und bestand aber darauf das der Grill weiter weg gestellt wird das besorgte dann der einsichtige Schwiegervater. Vielen Dank! Dann ging es weiter es wurde in der Küche eine Flasche Rotwein so geöffnet, das die Decke,Wand und Küchenmöbel alles mit Rotwein bespritzt wurde. Ein großes Kinderbett wurde vom 2 jährigen vollgepinkelt obwohl es Pampers gibt. Wir mussten einmal Bettwäsche und ein Handtuch entsorgen weil wir es nicht mehr sauber bekommen haben.
Staubsauger machen in der Regel beim Arbeiten Lärm, wir haben neue handelsübliche Staubsauger von Omega mit Saugstärkenregulierung.Wenn man noch nie einen Staubsauger bedient hat kann es natürlich ungewöhnlich laut sein, Besen sind geräuschlos und den Dreck kann man besser unterm Inventar verteilen.
Der Aufbau oben hat einen Holzfußboden den man nie geräuschfrei bekommt ist eben Holz ,aber man kann es auch übertreiben. Ach das Tor hätte ich bald vergessen, ich habe das Tor an dem Tag als die Kinder angekommen waren immer zu gefahren, als ich aber mitbekommen habe das Frau M. und Ihr Schwiegersohn das kleine Eingangstor immer auf ließen was Frau M. in Ihrer Bewertung auch bestätigt sah ich es als sinnlos an das andere Tor zu schließen.
Die Toiletten und die WC Bürsten waren so ekelig das es einem bald den Magen umdrehte. Pfui
Ich brauche mit meiner Frau immer 4Stunden für die Endreinigung diesmal waren es mit Malerarbeiten 8 Stunden. Wer diese Schweinerei nicht glaubt den sende ich gerne Fotos zu.

Familienurlaub

Our wonderful vacation with the Waßnick family on the island of Rügen is unfortunately already over, but we will keep it in beautiful memory. Maltzien and the surrounding area were unknown to us before, and we were curious. The cozy and lovingly furnished holiday home left nothing to be desired. For our little man at 8 months, there was also nothing missing, and it was a great vacation for all of us. We thank the Waßnick family for their hospitality. They were always there for us and gave us tips for the holiday. Fam. M from Berlin.

Das Vermieterehepaar wohnt direkt nebenan. Besonders der Vermieter, Herr Waßnick, beobachtet alles, was von außen einsehbar ist: wie und ob das Gartentor geschlossen wird, ob die Gardine aus dem Fenster hängt, wie der Grill angemacht wird. Darauf wurden wir sofort angesprochen. Dabei geht es dann auch schon mal lautstark zur Sache. Die Atmosphäre war derart unangenehm, dass wir überlegten, abzureisen. Beispiele für den Service: Das Haus muss besenrein übergeben werden, es wird jedoch kein Besen zur Verfügung gestellt, weil dieser zu viele Flusen aufwirbele. Wir sollten stattdessen den Staubsauger benutzen, der wegen seiner Lautstärke nicht benutzt werden konnte, wenn die Kinder schliefen und der außerdem reichlich schwer war. Der Vermieter hat seine Garage und Werkstatt auf dem Gelände der Ferienwohnung. Täglich fährt er mehrmals mit unterschiedlichen Fahrzeugen (Auto, Rasenmähergefährt, Motorrad) auf das Grundstück und wieder herunter. Dies war der Grund, warum er es für nicht realisierbar hielt, das Tor der Einfahrt geschlossen zu halten. Da das Grundstück direkt neben dem Bodden liegt, war es nicht möglich, die 2- und 5-jährigen Jungens einfach mal so in den Garten zu lassen. Das umzäunte Grundstück war einer der Gründe, warum wir uns für die Unterkunft entschieden hatten. Die Küche ist mit allem, was benötigt wird ausgestattet. Hier fehlte es an nichts - außer einem Flaschenöffner, mit dem wir die von den Vermietern bereit gestellte Weinflasche hätten öffnen können. Das Haus ist sehr hellhörig und der Fußboden im Obergeschoss knarrt derart, dass es sehr schwierig war, die Kinder ruhig ins Bett zu bringen. Die Wendeltreppe in das Obergeschoss ist für kleine Kinder absolut ungeeignet. Obwohl die sehr ruhige Lage auf der Halbinsel Zudar wirklich etwas Besonderes und Schönes ist, kann ich dieses Ferienhaus wegen der unangenehmen Nähe und des Verhaltens der Vermieter nicht empfehlen.
